One of the greatest problems this woodstock 99... the people who organized this event commercialized it like crazy. A bottled water cost like $4.00 or something. Everything was expensive. And like the one in 1969, more people than expected arrived. Also, my generation is more rowdy than the generation in 1969. I'm 26 years old. In '69 people were about free love, hunger strikes, marches, etc. Now it's more like "Let's be rebels, let's fight and load it on youtube and blog about it." I luv music.

Well, not to mention all the negativity in the air like gamezky said, but also the fires, the rapings, the people basically going mental, the rhcp had to keep them entertained and mellow, and draw all the attention to themselves so the people wouldn't hurt each other. and that's not the easiest thing to do... I don't think any other band could've pulled it off

not to take anything away from RHCP their fucking amazing, but i think korn could've done it to, if u watch their woodstock vids, theres not 1 person standin still, EVERYONES jumpin around durin them, so i kno korn could've caught their attention,... as long as they didn't stick limp bizkit out there
