  • doctor HAS been really good this season.

  • NEVER TALK ABOUT POLITICS and RELIGION BUDDY!!!!! your getting it wrong and i don't care if "what the buck" likes you I'M UNSUBSCRIBING

  • It's not that simple.

  • no dinosours werent around when humans were... but chukcnorris was!

  • Oh no, I was wrong; 7 videos behind! Many apologies, of course. The excuse list is endless, but now I realise why life seemed...bleaker (for lack of a better word) these past few weeks. Anywho, commitment issues, huh? You know, maybe that's what God had or something. Perhaps he thought, while Adam and Eve were there, "This is great; these people worship me and are perfect. Oh wait, it's too boring; maybe if I create a hell...oh fuck it. I give up. Let my creations destroy themselves." ...yeah...

  • you went from chewing gum to dianosaurs

  • whoop whooop jaaaaaames u r awesome btw :D

  • yeah i think that when it says days in the bible that it doesn't really mean days, its really millions of years and dinos (and all animals) were made before humans so the dinos just did their thing till they were extinct then the world moved on to new animals, then BAM humans.

  • I'm religious but I still believe in Evolution.......WHERE IS MY ENDING TO THIS VIDEO?! :-P

  • @fleurhasaface Im like that to XD

  • awwwww your so funny :) love you

  • Doctor Who is my favorite show. You are my hero :)

  • job 40:15-24

  • God started everything..and made evolution possible..we weren't here when the dinosaurs were.. that's obvious.. <- and that's what I think

  • I think you should ask your lovely viewers to suggest "your so sexy..." lines. And then pick the best. COS WE'RE AWESOME.

    And truth about Doctor Who.

  • my parents buy gallons

  • oh i love you <3 but question, who exactly says dinosaurs existed at the same time as humans? was there a giant discovery in the world of science and i just missed the national geographic article addressing it? my understanding is that dinosaurs came before humans and became extinct long before humans. i thought that was everyone's understanding :o

  • @Nevaine hes kidding (i hope) but yeah hes just playin around and i see your humor and want you to know yes i found your comment humorus

  • Hmm..we don't have those in America...

  • No. You're Chuck Norris porn. You take the sexy cake. <-Rhymed.

  • i believe in both i think God created everyone and said be free and we evolved otherwise how do you explain why animals keep going extinct? i think their just evolving. i may sound like a complete idiot but i dont care (:

  • You're so sexy, Right Said Fred put their shirts back on.

  • I belive in both kind of, I believe that dinosaurs were not on earth at the same time as humans, and that we were put on this earth without evolution and we still had evolution but god put us on the earth.

  • hey sexy

  • Wow. I am that group of people with chewy commitment issues.

  • Dude, perfect timing- Last week was the U.S's national Evolution conference, where I listened to a talk by Kennith Miller who referred to a study in which the primate-human chromosome difference was explained (b/c humans=46 chromosomes, primates=48). In this study they located one human chromosome that was comprised of 2 centromere and 4 telomere (2x the normal amount/chromosome), sometime between now and disassociation two of our chromosomes fused into one, whereas they didn't in primates.

  • I love that you are so outspoken about the whole thing hahaha bold move. Youtube... the place you go for things you can't talk about at the dinner table lol.

  • but if you eat toast you still need milk to wash it down. :S

    xDD

  • I believe in not giving a fuck because you know..... I don't give a fuck

  • How is it that no priest or veri religous human is, was and will never be anithing close to a scientist of any kinde and how is it that any scientist of any kinde has no appeal towords God or any religion what so ever?

Scientists can prove many religous facts wrong and are searching to prove the left overs wrong to.

Religious humans...don't even want to know anithing about science, even if scients [most of it] contributes to pice and human's generaly geting along.

  • Brilliance and sexy at the same time. Marry me James. (((( Hug ))))

  • @rodders153 oh dear, u do realise that uve started a crazy big argument? Actually that was probably the point....

  • I don't think that science and religion are mutually exclusive. I believe that science is a way of discovering how God created our universe. If the Big Band Theory were true, then it would be God's doing. Also, I have reason to think the first eleven chapters of Genesis are metephors; they point in God's direction and tell us truths about Him, but they are not to be used as scienticic or even historical facts.

  • @ArsGratiaArtis87 EXACTLY. There may still be hope for humans yet! I also thinck God coordinated all these events to happen. Beliving there is no God and trusting the theory of chaos... seems kind of empty to me. It certanly dose not explai the existance of love, hate and theyr derivates, there is no natural/biological/chemical purpose for the existance of those feelings, you know?

  • @cristina230 I'm not a judgey athiest or anything, butttttt "love" creates a better enivorenment for offspring making them more likely to live, hate creates a more lethal way of dealing with threats to said offspring. Natural responses bred into us through generations of being brought up in said psychological environs. Not meaning to offend, but theres fairly obvious logical reaosns that "the loving family" came to exist. It's been in our interest to develop these reactions since forever :)

  • @cristina230 Well, I believe that athiests have a valid argument when they claim that love could possibly part of evolution, although I'm more inclined to think that a loving God bestowed our psychological advantages upon us. I do believe, though, that a Creator makes more sense than the chaos theory, because if the universe were created through a giant explosion, what caused that explosion? Explosions require matter, and who/what supplied that matter? I think it was God.

  • There aren't only two types of people. I believe in evolution and... yeah ok I don't believe in Creationism. But I do believe that after dinosaurs died out aliens put a few samples of humans on Earth so they could live here. Which is basically as crazy as believing in Creationism.

  • Wait a minute...i'm a person of faith and i believe in evolution and dinosaurs :S have i not understood my faith properly or what?

  • Evolution doesn't always take so long to happen. Species with short generation invertals, such as insects can exhibit evolutionary changes. A study of moths, for example, were shown to change their colour as a result selection pessures from their predator (a bird) after the trees they used for camoflague changed coloures due to inceased pollution in the air (industrial revolution). Only the moths with the new colour survived to breed, until the whole population was that colour.

  • Evolution acts on changes in a population rather than changes of an individual.

  • @AVYcLaiR12 I looked it up, you are totally right. My bad, my teacher got it wrong, which is funny because he was my college instructor for a film and TV class, he really should know WHOOPS on his part, ha ha!

  • Actually, there's a middle ground there are people like me who believe that God created a universe that evolves and the earth is however many billion years old we've found it to be.

And Doctor Who has been spectacular this season.

And don't be silly, the dinosaurs were killed in the flood because they wouldn't fit on the ark! ;-)

  • @indy8149 dinos grow slow. get some baby dinos they can last 40 days without out growing the ship.

  • @LTEK4NZ but Noah was told to take one male and one female adult of each animal.

  • @indy8149 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. .... no mention of adult.. use common sense with logistics.

  • @LTEK4NZ I was using common sense, the point was so that they could multiply, they need to be adult to do that.

  • @indy8149 so they had to wait a few years. prob why they didn't do such a good job at multiplying. still make more logistical sense to bring the young ones.

  • Doctor Who really was great this season (I'm looking forward to the next half). And I have to say... evolution isn't doing so well. Just look out your window and see some of the massive mistakes it's made recently.

  • See, I think chewy mints are a good idea, like if you need to go somewhere with no bins and need to freshen your breath, but don't want to swallow chewing gum. Just saying :)

  • God put dinosaurs on Earth to confuse scientists. O.o

  • Did anyone else who believes in evolution watch both endings just because they wanted to see how James would try to make the rest of his video please religious people...? :D

  • not all religious people are idiots that don't believe in evolution, and i think that some of us atheists judge them too quickly. the idea of god brings hope to a lot of people, and they're not all extremists. but i still love your videos and stuff. :)

  • @luliemoo and the rock from david's slingshot became the meteor that killed the dinosaurs but still left humans intact. Lol. I agree with you though. The Bible is a guide. It's not meant to be taken 100% literally. It's a living text of stories (true stories, that is) and rules for living. What's written in the Bible is true but it doesn't mean all other theories are automatically wrong.

  • @CuddlyTurtle and another wedge btwn religious and nutjob?

  • "Those creationist religious nutjobs"... can we just uh, drive a wedge between "creationist" and "religious", pretty please? The two aren't mutually exclusive...

  • You clearly don't know the bible that well.

  • wow that was offensive, 'unsubscribe'

  • @iluvchoccies11 I'll do the same... I once unsubscribed but then thought, well, I can live with his opinion but right now I'm so bothered...

  • Dinosaurs coexisted with humans only up to the time of Noah.

    Bam. Pleased both.

  • thumbs up for doctor who being the greatest show on earth :D

  • Read Inherit the Wind (play)

    Or watch the movie

  • Read Inherit the Wind (play)

  • From gum to god yeahhh rodders you cover it all!

  • i love doctor who....probably too much. it's an addiction =[

  • I believe that God created the big bang like a bajillion years ago... and the dinosaurs and all those cycles of life happened. All that stuff was BC. And now we're in AD... and life goes on?

  • iv never really thought too deeply about how dinosaurs fit in to the christian perspective, but I believe in pangea so when it rained for 40 days and nights, one most of the dino's drowned and two, the total water consumption caused the continents to break away and diminish the crusts' age so its' like the world is billions on years when it's really a few 1000.

  • Doctor Who is science fiction?!?!

  • @SirGerardTheDigital Next he's gonna tell us that Hogwarts isn't real too! Inconceivable.

  • @SirGerardTheDigital I know how you feel; I was in shock when I found out. They had to put me in an electric blanket to avoid me getting hypothermia. ;) lol xx

  • well I'm a christian who believes in evolution, I've paused the video when he says go to the end of the video, but I'm not sure what to do!

  • @lolacoop99 just go on, he ends the video with the religious ending

  • Doctor Who WAS amazing. I completely agree with you, Rodduurrrrrs. :3

  • So, I was watching the first part of your video where you were ranting about gum and mints. I switch to Facebook and tune you out as background noise. I click back a few minutes later and I hear something about Jesus being apathetic because everyone was eaten by dinosaurs. WTF?

  • Leviathan was a dinosaur/dragon in the Bible... just throwing that out there.

  • "Dinosaurs are kind of big, they do a lot of killing" I love you

  • Why dont you have more viewers??

  • if you do read this comment: please, be nice to people from abroad and speak more.. s l o w l y :)

if not, i'll be forced to unsubscribe :(

  • due to your fear of milk commitment, clearly chewy mints are for you.

  • and the groop thand dont give a shit

u raly do have commitment issues ifee srry 4 ur girlfriend

  • and the groop thand dont give a shit

  • mmm Milk

  • I doubt you do your own grocery shopping Jamessss... I really hope I've remembered your name correct now >.<

  • Oh god i hate mint

  • clever man! i think about this stuff all the time, i have no idea how to explain it to people, so i make them watch ur vids

  • If anyone doubted that all riddles aren't jokes, this video should serve as proof positive :).

  • You should've worked out the endings better...

  • ah man ive still got to sit through 100 million more years of this?

  • clever girl (search youtube)

  • @TheDavidisnumber1 Why is it that that just reminds me of Jurassic Park? haha

  • AHHHHHHHHHHH i love this

  • Comment removed

  • I love your videos so much.

  • U seem to be assuming that you can't believe in both God and evolution... Which is incorrect, to be honest I expected something a tad more educated from you, ah well, I guess I'll just re-watch Charlieissocoollike's fun science videos :)

  • @SweetRosesAreRed if you do believe in both god and evolution, which bits of evolution do you listen to and which bits of religion do you listen to?

  • The Bible mentions Unicorns though.... Is that good enough

  • @ManicOreo THE BIBLE MENTIONS UNICORNS??? Man, I need to learn to read! haha

  • What about Divine Evolution ....

  • Wow it's funny how you CAN'T make a video without doing some kind of offensive reference or comment about Jesus. Haha...NOT.

I mean don't get me wrong, you have the right to believe and say whatever you want :) It's just not funny anymore. I'm not sure it ever was.

  • Personally, I beleive that the big bang was causd by God and 1 day to him is probly 10 mill. years 2 us, so evolution is just those six days of creating the universe and all the creatures.

  • @iDontHaveTwitter My thoughts exactly!

  • @cvetinkababe yay! my comments good enough to reply to! *GASP* I'm a somebody!! lol ;3

  • @iDontHaveTwitter If you ask me more people should respond or like instead of writing the same comments.

  • they're just mint skittles..right?

  • Lookin pretty rough these days, James

  • @AllNicWoo Not rough. Rugged with a capital "R". its like handsome but the difference is handsome is he stares at himself in the mirror all day and Rugged is we stare at him. hahaha:)

  • i get really annoyed with people who don't believe in evolution

fair enough everyone is free to have their own opinions and beliefs, but not when those opinions and beliefs are stupid ¬¬

  • @GiftOfGlamour that is fail. that is really, really fail.

  • @sabbathmcfreely my baddd

  • LOL!! I love you take take the piss out of both groups :') great vid!

  • Of gum, Doctor Who, and Evolution. I like it. I think it's funny that you had to bring doctor who into this debate somehow, very funny!

  • I think I figured out how Jesus walked on the water. There was a brontosaurus in the lake floating just under the surface and he walked on his tail and back. Oh those sneaky creationists, ya got me again.

  • Well you're a bright bulb.

  • Dawkin's married Lala Ward, who played the Doctor Who companion and Time Lady Romana in Doctor Who, so maybe he was having a fit of Who envy when he named his book. Or something.

  • Haha that's really all I have to say...

  • His voice is kinda hypnotsing.... :O

  • My great-grandad was a creationalist and when I say he was a creationalist... literally, he was a proper, stereo-typical creationalist... but when he died my family inherited a fossil of a fish that is 23000000 years old.

  • One of your best videos x

  • worlds 6000 years old?hmmm

  • There is yet a British youtuber to break the stereotype you all watch Docter Who

  • @Budgie456 True, but it seems many Americans are starting to watch it as well. I think their Doctor Who is America's Star Trek (though Star Trek doesn't seem as popular as it once was. It's still the longest running show, and I believe Doctor Who is the second longest).

  • @2broadwayor2home no doctor who is the longest it started in 1963 star trek started in 1969.

  • @Budgie456 Well I don't blame them. Doctor Who is AMAZING.

  • @Budgie456 That's because it's awesome! It's not a stereotype but just one of the few good shows we have to watch on a Saturday night.

  • Learn some grammar, it's 'You'RE sexy'. Love you, :P

  • they used to make these when i was younger. its nothing new exsept they wwere in a box now theyre in a packet

  • Wow, videos on religion ALWAYS cause huge arguments in the comments. Great vid. :) xx

  • I always have to edit with a trackpad, don't complain.. But if this videos taught me anything, it's that I need to invest in a mouse. (The computer kind not the animal, obviously.)

  • @LykAwsm No, I you should get the animal :P

  • @Arithmancer1 same!

  • @neino36 You got it. Thats what I think its all about too!

  • breffness

  • behemoth was the word for dinosaur before western thinking.. look it up in the bible. there is a good description if you can find it.. just saying. job 40: 15-25

  • @LTEK4NZ How can that be true if their existence is denied? haha Also, I always pronounce "Job" wrong at first,ah the stupidity of me :)

  • @lightinglavender its not denied by all churches..

and there is some small proof that the duckbill dino was alive within the five years before the coming of the white man to australia.

  • @LTEK4NZ I never mentioned churches or branches of the religion :) To me it sounds like people are trying to find links between the two to appease everybody and it's not working that well.

I have no idea what the duckbill dino is so I can't comment on that :) However, I do know that turtles and tortoises are believed to be the last living form of dinosaur :) Which makes sense when you look at them haha

  • @lightinglavender churches are usually the people that deny it..

    duckbill dino is a Hadrosaur

and i believe that the new zealand tuatara is the closest living form. don't much like the turtles and tortoises.

  • @LTEK4NZ Hmm, I suppose so but it's the fact that what they see is believed so fervently that causes the problems :)

Oh you meant that one, I thought you were on about something completely different haha So what are you trying to say about them? That they were still alive 5 years before or that fossils had been discovered 5 years before?

Scientists have already stated that turtles and tortoises are and they do look like smaller forms of stegosauruses really, just without the spikes :)

  • @lightinglavender they found the decomposing carcass of a large apparently bipedal reptile. while wandering the landscape after settlers came to the country... cant currently find the pages i saw this on. hoping it wasn't in a book from back in the day.

and the tuatara seems more dino to me than the shelled creatures.

  • you have no idea how much i love you :P

  • I believe in all of the above, God, evolution, flying jelly monster it's all good lol but seriously I do have faith in Christ but also believe in evolution and seeing as I can’t prove anything I chose to live life with an open mind.

  • @Nessa5651 I love that there seem to be a growing amount of people with this opinion. A couple hundred years ago, we thought the world was flat. Now we know it's not. Science does that, we just don't understand everything. So we need to be open minded but that doesn't mean we can't have faith in what we believe. Science has never proved that there is not a God

  • @2broadwayor2home I agree 100% =D

  • @2broadwayor2home Apparently nobody actually believed the world was flat and that statement was made up by someone. Also there is the age old idea that if God were ever to be proven as real that he would disappear as he needs faith to survive not evidence or something like that it makes me chuckle :)

  • I say... Fuck religion... I just dont see the point in it... So I'm going to hell now? FUCK NO! Who friking cares what happanes in 40 years? I'm not gona change my lifestyle to LOVE god just to be a litle more shure that I wont go to "Hell"! I'm gona life my life NOW and not care about what hapanes when I die... Cuz I know that it isnt posible to avoid death! And as for eveoliution... I honestly dont care how it happaned! We are here now and LETS MAKE THE FRINKING BEST OF IT!!!

  • @neino36 Actually, there is no mention of a hell in the bible ^_^ That was an idea spread around by the catholic church, the main thing is a paradise type thing that people will go to after judgement day :) Otherwise you just die forever.

  • @lightinglavender A quick search of the King James Version of the Bible finds 54 references to "hell." How did you get to be so smart in just 19 years?

  • @JetFlash220 Hmm, I was referring to the original bible :) That is an overly revised copy that has been changed. The idea of Heaven and Hell was never originally used in conjunction with Christianity :) The main religions (Islam, Judaism, Christianity etc) all follow the same ideals and yet Christianity is the only one to mention a hell, I find something wrong with that especially as the first five books of the old testament are the Jewish Torah.

  • @lightinglavender So no hell to worry about... and as for "judgement day". THERE IS NO SUTCH THING!!!! If we die we die of two things: One natural disaster witch we cant stop or two we kill ourselves off with atomic bombs... RELIGION IS POINTLESS!!!! Horay 8D

  • He mentions Doctor Who twice and that's all people hear.

  • Haha you're so awesome

  • haha, you never fail to amuse me.

  • lol, nice of you to steal Bill Hicks' jokes there... don't think we didn't notice rodders ;)

  • @thecityexists You're right. Because Charlie is the only person in the world who likes Doctor Who…

  • Nice video. Way to please me with your mouth.

  • @sometimesboy the is other ways

  • for the record, it is possible to believe in God AND evolution...

not every one who's religious are creationist and not everyone who believes in evolution is an atheist...

  • Love this! Evoloutionists unite!

  • Religious weirdos. I completely agree. lol

  • Despite the ridiculous straw-manning of creationists, I lol'd muchly.

And yes, Doctor Who is undoubtedly the greatest show on earth...

  • "Dinosaurs are kinda big. They do a lot of killing." hahaha!

  • check Top Documentary Films online...many points of view, also that Jesus went to the east and studied there....:)

  • I'm on a train. :)

  • @fingers7dials I'm on a boat :P

  • I watched both :3

  • I'm the inbetweener I guess lol, I believe God set up the building blocks for everything to be created and let it play out.

  • I watched the entire video anyway, I'm not offended one bit. Can't wait for next weeks video!

    Bye!♥

  • Haha! Well done. get ready for some hateful comments my love. :)
