Andy, you can *farm* it on preascalon coz the monsters has lesser quanty of item to drop, a lvl 20 monster ve 50 kind of differents items, including dye, a preascalon monster ve 8 kind of itemns including dye, make the count ! ^_^

You can't *farm* dye because EVERYTHING has the same chance of dropping it. It's just easier to kill stuff in pre.
