@school4freestyle In UK one year standard, though all electronics are now six years. The way you do it would be with the retailer first year, manufacturer after that.

Just wondering before I buy this device does can the player be updated to android 2.3.5 or is it limited to the 2.2 version. This device in America has 2.3.5 has default but the uk device has 2.2 froyo as default and apparently doesn't offer a software update. Can anyone help and btw I live in the uk :)

I got it I love it using it right now I am also getting the galaxy note 5.3 screen

It runs v2.3.5 now by default it is auctually a very good device....i mean no hate on the ipod but i like the freedom to expand and just overall freedom on something I have purchased and Android provides that and more :) a way better camera also ntm flash and even though it is a TFT LCD it is not that bad :) not as good as a retina display but good enough for me also it scored very high in all benchmarks yess its a single core but its very snappy :) i love it and most definately recommend :D

I was going to get one but with a crappy screen, single core processor, 8gb, crappy cameras and no stylus it was just not worth it, hopefully version will have a quad core and tegra 3.

So it's kinda like an iPod Touch ? It can listen to songs , videos and it has a built in video camera. So I can go on the Internet on this for free? So if I wanted to put songs onto this device could I use the iTunes?

Looks very nice. UI looks snappy as well although TouchWiz can be a bit cartoony at times. Hope it'll work out for you, I've been thinking about getting something like it as well :)

Hah! I got this with my Samsung LED 3D TV. I am using this as my remote and i stream live stuff from my TV to the tablet when i am in my bedroom or bathroom. Only if it had ICS like my Galaxy Nexus.

I saw this device in my local PCWorld and thought omg Samsung has brought out an even bigger phone than the SGS2,then looking closer i realised what it actually was. For a media player or should i say anything but a phone. it's quite weak on the screen quality. I would have expected something better if i'm honest. Quite suprised the camera is only 3.2mp as well. Slightly dissapointed if i'm honest on the specs. great video,thoroughly enjoyed something new to the channel,Outstanding Review Dave.

I said this before and I will say it again: A 5" screen is too big for a mobile phone but fantastic for an entertainment device. If samsung gave this a Super Amoled Plus display then this would be a true contended to Apple's ipod touch for those who want to watch videos etc because Android supports a lot more video formats than the iPod Touch and it is not stuck with itunes and for Android fans this will be fantastic. Did you purchase this yourself Dave? Shame it developed a fault.
