  • i'd kill for this car

  • Shut the front door !

    Lucky find Dude !

  • OPPS WOW NOT THAT BAD IT'S EASY FIX AND CLEN UP

  • WOW NOT THAT BAD IS FIX AND CLEN UP

  • Mute n Enjoy

  • Why would you sell that car? For the money? That would be a keeper for me. : )

  • I'd leave this car as-is, and just bolt on a fresh set of 15X7 'Crags' with some RWL 225/60/15 Comp T/As. Thing would look PISSAHH

  • its in the mid west....yikes... hopefully they keep the car inside because snow + salt = major rust.....

  • @bloatedcarl Sounds like a great car! Enjoy!

  • I used to have a customer in the early 70's that had one for a daily driver. I didn't know how rare that car is- approximately 700 or so made.

  • Thats an amazing finder! And in good shape 2.

  • This story reminds me of a car a friend of mine bought in the 70s while we were still in high school. He noticed it in a garage up the street from me one day when the door was open and went to ask about it.

It was the guy's son's car and had been garage. for years with the engine apart and he just wanted it out. $600 later it was his.

The car? A 1969 GTO Judge, all original except for the rear-end (original blown).

My friend still has it, to this day. He's the second owner.

  • how did u find this

  • Sold? You failed my friend. No matter... With luck like this, you'll probably hit the lottery next too.

  • I would never sell a car like this. ESPECIALLY if I found one in a barn.

  • A highly valuable but not "excellent to perfect" got eyes ? This things like hitting the lottery , nice !!!

  • no need to restore appears in excellent to perfect shape

  • ouh god thats sexy !!

  • cool

  • needs a ground up/rotisserie restoration, IMHO.

  • Trade ya 4 my left nut ...seriously

  • You should have kept it because I know someone right now that would trade you a 72 GTO with a 4speed trans and 400ci engine from factory in the same condition!!!

  • @Sniperman1964 bet they would ...

  • like brand new

  • that is one hell of a find .. its in very good shape for the year.....its amazing what people leave sitting around their is a guy who lives down my street here in tx with a 1970 ta white with the blue stripe in the center hes in his 50s the car has been sitting in his garage since early 80s

  • @bigrob01976 what city do you live in?

  • just patch up the exhaus,t clean up the engine bay, and head on a roadtrip to drop the car off at my place.

  • My personal opinion, because it's mostly original paint. I'd get it running, but drive it around in that condition, instead of restoring the apperance.

  • What an amazing car

  • Thats the kind of thing dreams are made of, to find a car thats still salvagable, that the owner s willing to part with.

  • clean itup a bit and drive it. no need to do a resto on that thng.

  • why do people park such betiful cars

  • what a killer find...sweet..

  • WOW NICE CAR good find congrats

  • this gave me chills..

  • It didn;t look like it needed much restoration. I'm glad it got good home.

  • song name??

  • is this car automatic? any pontiac trans ams came auto?

  • @rubent100 there were only like 50 autos i think, check out resto dans video on NOS trans am he mentions he knew a girl with a stock 68 ta and he said like only 50ish were made with an auto trans

  • @NewRomantic4 No such animal as a '68 TA, '69 was the first year. 697 TA's were made, 8 were convertable with 4 stick and 4 auto, find one of those 8 and get ready to fork over some real cash...

  • did it take much to get it running? that car was a beast back in the day love to see a vid of you getting it back to life.

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • i got APPLESAUCE :D LETS TRADE

  • holly shit...hope we could find that in quebec...rare mint car like that had all benn pressed and now we can restore sunbird 84....sucks...your car is awesome...

  • i loved the 69 trans am my friend had one, only 6 were made i believe

  • Hey i got 20 dollars in my piggy bank wanna sell me it??

  • ahh poop on the leg! i should stop watching these vids

  • @arctyler Both legs in my case.

  • Nice!!!

  • That's HOT!!!

  • beautiful

  • WOOOOOW !! NICE PONTIAC

  • unbelievable!

  • how much did u pay for it?

  • damm this already looks so good

  • thanks so much for the enjoyable nostalgia.

  • I want to ask three questions. 1. Do u kno what u have found 2 y r u selling it 3 how much r u asking I seen one of the ra3 with rust up to the door handles rat shit interior and a blown motor go for thirty grand

  • Awesome. Couldn't imagine finding one of less than one thousand in a barn. Especially in condition like that. I have to believe many people have gone to much farther lengths to restore these cars than will be required for this one. Easily a trophy winner.

  • thats a good find, all rust is clearly just surface rust and no rot, a new coat of paint, undersealer and a few new parts this car will be mint!!!!

  • Thanks for all of the great comments on both videos of this car. It has been sold and has a new owner in the midwest. Everyone keep looking, your dream car is sitting in a barn or garage near you!

  • @carbuffs OMG, you had such a rare find. Why would you sell?

  • this car looks amazing for how old it is

  • this is better than sex ! lol

  • Only if there fat and stinky!!!!

  • For sale, or trade? What kind of trades are you looking for, and barring that whats the cash price?

  • Bloody awesome, what a great find. That'll look wicked cleaned up. I love the original period gauges under dash. Can't wait to see it cleaned up. Cheers Rick......

  • Wow! Nice car...

  • Wonder why No Driveshaft?

  • probebly had to remove the shaft to move it may have been stuck in park and there was oil on the diff so it was probebly penitrating oil to remove the drive shaft

  • Has it sold yet??

  • damn your lucky did you know the people or how did you know it was their?nice t/a truely a great find

  • 1 of 800 if im not mistaken...comeing from a guy who has had 5 T/As..i must say, that is truely an ultimate find....what did you give for it ...if you dont mind me askin

  • beautiful.

  • Man I get a wierd feeling in my stomach when I watch this vid....awesome car...only 697 1969 T/As were made, 689 of those were hardtops and even rarer yet were the convertibles, only 8 were made, 4 autos and 4 sticks...Congrats on your find....you're the luckiest Pontiac guy alive....

  • when i see that car i think of year one

  • Treasures are out there. In anything standing. Very nice find.

  • wow what a find, thats gonna be worth big money.

  • this thing is immaculate it must be a garage find, instead of a barn find. if it was in a barn since the 80s it would be a rusted pile of Pontiac.

  • i cant watch these barn cars that people find anymore it makes me sick...especially " the barn find" video..: p

  • did it run and drive?

  • Wow that looks showroom fresh...

  • That`s the shit. Good find.

  • wow congradulations i wish i could find something like this shes beautiful i got a model just like it on my desk rite now more vids to come?

  • I can't believe you found this car in this condition. Amazing and a very desirable car !

  • Gotta love classic muscle cars. This one's a beaut!

  • How much Horsepower does that have?

  • wow cool how much did you pay for it ,if thats not to personal?

  • What do you bet you will be paying a SHIT LOAD MORE for it than this lucky bastard did!!!!

  • It was worth a try?? your right what a lucky sombitch!!!

  • how the heck you get that luckey?!? dont restore the car... NEVER!!! just clewan it up like you said, i'd consider cleaning the engine compartmet up though.

  • you know how luckey you are just to find a barn car in that condition -.-

  • This car should NEVER be restored .... could be only one left wearing its original paint.

  • buildsheet on top of gas tank?

  • did i see this car on ebay a few weeks ago. buy it now 75,000. Think this was the car. what a find. you lucky dog.

  • I was in high school in the early 80's, and a girl drove an all original 69 trans am to school every day. It was a rare automatic version with all the rare T/A parts still on it. The original paint was cracking and it was just a school car for her... I wonder what happened to it? I'm amazed that your car has a 10 bolt, seems like it would have a 12 bolt, but I don't know.

  • Excellent find!!

  • it's only original ONCE, please don't restore it, clean it , polish it, preserve it

  • In this condition I would imagine this car would bring anywhere from 50-75k.

  • wow, all you need is the original build sheet and your perfect with the documentation collection! Please do restore her to it's original state! This is one of the very rare cars, especially in stick form that needs to be shown once again to it's former glory! It's a total time capsule when Pontiac helped ruled the streets of the 60's...

  • Take it from someone who has had 2 '69 T/A's and 1 30th anniversary. Restore that rust bucket so its back to factory specs.

  • Rust bucket? you muct be blind. to find an all original car in that condition today is amazing. Keep at as it is! That's all you see today is 100 point trailer queens. Gets boring after awhile. It's nice to see cars like this.

  • An interesting view of the way they were built. A few minor details, the exhaust pipes look mandrel-bent muffler shop (no factory -pressed clearence spots present), the water pump has been replaced (they were engine block blue if factory), and the spare keys are post 1970 types. A great vehicle for 'Conservation' instead of 'Restoration'.

  • I agree; those exhaust pipes and mufflers are not factory but it is a stock system not straight duel like most replacements of the time. Good find over all.

  • restore that bitch they didnt make very many of these i have a 75 and im restoring it so ya

  • its worth alot more unrestored and just cleaned up,,he'd lose money if he did a resto.nice ride !

  • so true

  • any thing under $50k is a good price for that car.... i dont think he payed more.

  • wow ! an engine flush, a battrery ,cap and rotor, plugs, wires ,fluids ,air cleaner, check the brakes add a tank of gas and some new tires and away you go! off to midas for some new cherry bombs ! what sweet car man if i could own one of those and a 65 GTO convertible before i die ill be satisfied . are you gonna fix the dings and scrapes ? or spit roast it?

  • Sorry, my bad... I thought you were going to restore it... Great job to keep it ORIGINAL. they are only orignal ONCE!

I cleaned and detailed a 45k nile 69 RS/Z with Original paint Interior etc for the Camaro Nationals Vintage Survivor Class... IT was great!

  • It would be ashame to restore this car with out it haing been thouroughly documneted by some high end Pintiac guys... Tieman or the like... VER FEW UNRESTORED 69 T/A's

  • R I P Pontiac

  • very cool find-nice to see someone store a car right esp. that car-that thing is clean-that interior looked to be in great shape, same w/ body-only rust is that exhaust and the rear-engine bay looked pretty crudy but that expected for a car that age-cant wait to see the after pics/video. good luck

  • As car buffs we always pay more than we want to. you should post some pics and lots of them for historical reasons. most of these cars have already been restored.or should i say over restored. just to let people see what they actually looked like .

  • how much did you pay for it.. just curious

  • More than I wanted to. :)

  • haha im sure. Im sure it was well worth it though.

  • @carbuffs was worth it though!I'd kill for one.

  • @carbuffs how much

  • @carbuffs your probly real glad you bought this car its real rare... KEEP IT NICE!

  • @carbuffs You won't buy a '69 Trans Am without paying more than you want to.

  • @carbuffs saving it from rotting away was worth every penny, thank you
