rather than clean, I suggest a gutter guard. I installed Gutterglove and I no longer have to clean my gutters.

Thanks for the info on how to do it correctly. The problem is how high the ladder you need to be safe. Most step-ladders are only 6-feet high & you can only stand 3 feet high.
