Chinese girls train hard, but they also take classes and learn other subjects: math, history, chemistry, language and writing... The national team is like a big family. Their coaches treat their gymnasts much much better than your parents treat you! What can you do with their team gold except keeping crying and telling lies? Bad losers!

What it comes down to is rules are rules, if China has underage gymnast(s) then they should relinquish their medals. I really hope they can get someone to medically varify the gymnast's ages. Because it's the only way that everyone will be satisfied that China really did win. You may also want to google the Chinese gymnist, Yang Yun, who competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics since I believe that's who you're talking about. Again, thorough research would help you tremendously!

Congrats to the Olympic Gold Medal Champions. It was a lot fun to watch. I had tears when our flag was raised. Was very emotional in stadium. I'm very proud of all the Chinese Gymnasts.

You can't force anyone to succeed. Success and ambition come from within. How many parents have tried to force their kids to succeed in school, ballet, sports? How many have succeeded when the kid didn't have the heart?

The most distressing issue about this is that China's government doesn't think that rules apply to them--and that they can run their athletes through the machine and demand success as though they're products, not people. Disgraceful. What it comes down to is rules are rules, if China has underage gymnast(s) then they should relinquish their medals. Yes they were good but I can only imagine what it would have been like had all the other countries been able to use all their 14 year olds as well. That's the only way it would be fair. If it's found that China cheated by sending underage age gymnasts then I think there needs to be ratification for their actions.

I really hope they can get someone to medically varify the gymnast's ages. Because it's the only way that everyone will be satisfied that China really did win. Plus they should if they have nothing to hide. Personally, since the smallest gymnast's age isn't being disputed (for good reasons) I bet the other girls are old enough... but medical verification will prove it... I'm American by the way...

You may also want to google the Chinese gymnist, Yang Yun, who competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics since I believe that's who you're talking about. Again, thorough research would help you tremendously!

chinese gymnasts did not look 16 and had quite alot of makeup on to look older unlike the gymnasts of other nations who were no makeup.

Congrats to the Olympic Gold Medal Champions. It was a lot fun to watch. I had tears when our flag was raised. Was very emotional in stadium. I'm very proud of all the Chinese Gymnasts.

i'm not saying that all the chinese gymasts r cheaters, but they do look pretty young, and as an asian that's only a couple years younger than them, they look pretty short to me in my opinion to be sixteen. i no an chinese girl that's about 16, and she's a lot more bigger than all them. it don't matter much anyway though. we're still way ahead of them medal-wise
