i know im the first to comment on this in 9 months BUT MY MIND IS BLOWN how the hell do you get that serpent lookin chick at 0:21 or the dude with the sword and armor and the guy named Ben at 1:30 or the Big Dragons at 0:50 and 1:20 im baffled please enlighten me PLEASE!!!!
yea i know i just figured that out the combos are soooo cool but unfortuneatly i missed my oppurtunity with the earth shaman but yea the combo's are possibly the coolest thing ive seen in a game
Something cool I'd like to see is all the secret stuff and extra things you can get as well as strategies, kinda like in the FF6 LP, it's something that really pulls me to your LP's. :3 That and I've never done a lot with the morphing system and that'd be cool to see. n.n
ah, well if theres any chance that I could get the emulator off of you as well, then yeah I'd be glad, I've been looking for a snes emulator for a while now anyway.
I don't know when you will start this, but there currently is a fan retranslation in the works. The original translation for BoF2 was... not bad, but really weird. If the retranslation is done before you start, I suggest you actually use it. If you want more info about it, ask me.
Don't know if I'll watch this, as I don't want to be spoilered for when I finally get around to playing it. Then again, I'll probably forget everything by then, heh.
Damage cap is 999 eh? Harsh. Hopefully the bosses don't have more than a few thousand HP.
Also, how does this compare to the first BoF (which I haven't played yet either)?
personally i think BOF I was a little slower, harder to start, and just seemed like it was someones first rpg. BOF II feels like a team of game makers looked over what they could improve and then did that across the board. I dont know, that might just be my feelings. You dont need to play the first to get the second, its a lot like the FF series, except there are some cameos

ben was just the name for the main guy "ryu" in that game, the guy with the sword is jean with a certian shaman combo

Ha, pretty sweet. This actually made me want to play it, so I think I will. Hopefully there isn't as much grinding needed like BoF 1.
Also, that song reminded me of when I used to play DDR.
