What about length of the old & new (diff) ? seems the new one is shaved from front (bumper)...somehow the new city looks short form the old one. They could have compared both
@patwickgriff Honda city, if ever be sold in U.S., will never gain popularity because this car is criticized for being sparsely equipped, no diesel variant and poor interior quality. The City runs out of grip easily because of skinny tyres and low ground clearance is another problem which causes it to touch every speed breaker and pot holes. Most of the people buy this car on the name of Honda, there is really nothing in this car. There are better options available in your country.
@TheHedgehogPilot That's interesting because every review that I have read or listened to says the City has very good quality and fit and finish and that the ride and handling are excellent. The City always wins all the comparos with other makes, i.e. VW, Toyota, Hyundai, Suzuki, etc. In the U.S. the City would be in the subcompact class (B-segment). It would slot right in beneath the Civic (C-segment).
@patwickgriff IMO city is not a winner because it is not at all a value for money car. This car has made it's impression in India quite well but believe me, this car is not good. Moreover, Honda is cheating it's customers on it's name, the car certainly has very less features and as I already said before, it is a very bad value for money car. It also doesn't have a diesel engine . I am also in dilemma, whether should I purchase this car for it's name or go for better value options (Verna).
HONDA CITY ASKS FOR RS.8000 PER SERVCIE AFTER 20,000 KMS......THE COST OF OWNERSHIP IS SKY HIGH AFTER 20K KMS......SERVICE INTERVAL IS 3 MONTHS OR 5000 KMS.........BUYERS BEWARE !!
can u please tell how is it compared to verna diesel 1.6 automatic...?
i mean drivE-ability of this car compared to verna ....and ple any idea about the actual on road price after all octroi and registration in mumbai for the city top end model with sunroof automatic....?
@deepak4yt 1.6 verna diesel automatic reaches 0-100 in approx 11 seconds whereas 1.5 city auto. reaches 0-100 in 12.4 seconds. Honda city AT takes 18.3 seconds to reach 400m whereas Hyundai verna 1.6 auto takes 17.48 seconds. While in 40-100, verna takes 9.2 seconds whereas city takes 9.9 secs. for the same. Verna defeats city in terms of power and engine. In verna, you won't be having any issues below 180 like body-roll. Verna is 17 kph faster in stretch. Verna diesel wins over petrol city.
Improvement over the previous videos. However the video is more about the feature listing, which we can anyway get from the brochure. You need to actually review the car.
When is the diesel version of this car coming?
