It's nearly the same game to F1 2010. For 50 bucks. And then... it is unplayable due to control changes.

Do you have both games, F1 2010 and 2011? In my opinion, it's nearly the same game. Well, I use a NegCon over USB adaptor. With F1 2010 it works fine. On 2011 my analogue buttons are just read-out digital. That's why the game is crap for me.

@therealdefpunk doesn't surprise me, but get a decent wheel like a G27 and it won't feel the same at all.

The driving model is excellent, much more lively, and whilst not as perfect as some sims, is still very impressive.

There's plenty of good racing content these days, everyone who plays racing games should get a wheel.

i think codemasters wanted to make the best game, but there are to much annoying elements andyou need a very-very fast computer too. it is still a nice game i think, but i more prefer rfactor mods.

@TheChrisglasgow No, 2011 is the one on the left, as the title says. 2010 indeed looks more spectacular sometimes (e.g. Monaco), but 2011 looks more natural. Singapore looks a lot better in 2011, especially in the rain.

No it doesn't. 2010 has effects you won't see in real life. 2011 is more realistic. And if you actually try to race those games you realize 2011 is 100 times more simulation in handling (no assists).

Which console? He must be joking. Console cant do half of these graphics dont want to talk about lightning, soft shadows, physics, reflexions. Consoles are to old and they need refreshment because PC is to much ahead in every aspect of gaming. PC vaw ahead 3,4 years ago but now it is little to much..

@4JRimmer I captured these clips with Fraps, which locks the framerate at 30 FPS. There might be a sligth drop to 27-28 from time to time, but I did not really notice it in this video. As I said, during gameplay I get like 50-60 FPS.

Also, there cannot be any tearing visible in this video, because tearing only affects the video output from your graphics card. Fraps captures the rendered image, which cannot have any tearing.

It's not that heavy anymore like the F10. I find the graphics better. The controls have been improved very much, unlikely u said. I played both with a G25 wheel and an xbox 360 controller. The wheel it hasn't improved very much, but the pad, thank godness. Keyboard playing has been improved too.

I read the description and I agree about the rain effects, they look beautiful, I thought the rain in last years edition was unbeatable, I am happy to be proven wrong.

I can't wait to get this game on Friday, followed by FIFA 7 days later of course =)
