I always make up stories in my head about lyrics to songs, and I always associated this one with like... a relationship not ordained by the family, so the singer is saying to his lover, don't worry about it, I'll be your family, your mother, brother sister... I won't make you hide like they do... Don't let them "touch" you as in bother you, I want to be the one that "touches" you. A touch can be emotional or physical.... it's a double entendre... in my head at least. I don't think it's creepy.
