Well it's not awful for me 'cause I use a Logitech Racing Wheel GT (Mainly for PS2/PS3 on Grand Turismo) and it turns like a real semi-truck due to the wheel having force feedback.. :^)

This game had so much potentual to become something good, but the developers fucked it up. If the game is only driving (no crashing, driving offroad, or causing mayhem) and the map is the same size of the actual USA, why not just get a real truck driving job. It's the same thing except it will actually pay your bills.

There is si much more could be done to make a great trucking game.

Even VIce CIty of a decade ago allowed you to get out the car / cab and walk around. These days you could have real life multi player and have CB chat with others. Drive in convoys, realistic police.

Instead of trying to make the game far too big they should make it smaller but concentrate on the quality within that area.

As said, anyone wanting a good trucking game try Extreme Trucking 2 Australian level.

I really loved this one, I myself have played this game, my first delivery was okay, but than past the red light, passed the cops, paid 3x more than I shoulda, tried another load, and it was soo long I exited the game. The AI's are all really slow, but with cops it can work to your advantage...

You can park behind them and let your 'heat' meter expire and drive off, and nothing will happen, and sometimes you can run, and get the cop cars stuck!
