  • The Finest Magnificent Italian Art. Yes, for me it was love at first sight.

You just have to look that car and listen those V6 engine sounds and suddenly world looks so much brighter and sunnier.

    I want one - NOW.

  • alfa the best car!!!!!!!

  • I just bought an Alfa Romeo GT 3.2L V6 Busso coincidentally on my 21st Birthday =) and she looks as amazing on the drive way as she is on the road, Take care of Alfa's and they will make you feel very special in return!

  • I love Alfa more then anything but i would love it even more if it had a rear wheel drive.

  • that v6 sounds amazing

  • @StarsMarsRadio Don't get into an argument with Pinin500. He is a professional TROLL. He will stalk you all around YouTube, look at every clip you have ever watched, and post insulting, childish comments against you. That's what he's been doing to me all week.

If you do a Google search on his username you will see a list of clips he has commented on. Go to ANY of them, and he has tried to start fights will strangers on them ALL. He is a worthless, sick TROLL. Peace.

  • @Pinin500 And once again you appear to have no friends here. Your record is 100%, congratulations. That gives you PROFESSIONAL TROLL status.

  • i cant understand why you fight especialy when nobody had italian car before 2000. i had 2 alfa 1 fiat and 1 lancia. Most beautifull cars EVER but with major problems in the electric systems. Both alfa after 3 years the light on the dushboard were history. Lancia Y caught fire when i was driving.

Everybody says that from 2000 these problems are history but i was to tiered from all the problems and 2005 i bought opel and i understand the different and now with a golf and i enjoy every minute

  • @herlam23

    i had a 1.5 t1...in silver...1990

  • Looks like a lot of BMW fans watch these Alfa uploads, well they are Italian and

  • Gta is a engineering masterpiece,ex Ferrari engineer Busso's V6 is pure art, but the Twinsparks are real gem's too and return 30mpg, 60 in 8.3 sec and the best part is the sound, the V6 is very Ferrari like, but the 2.0ltr twincam twinnys when on cam sound so raspy and will howl like a metallic werewolf, engines are not vocal like this anymore, a real shame...Forza Alfa

  • @alfistii1

    SHUT THE F*CK UP!

YOU DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT ALFA!

    YOUVE NEVER OWNED AN ALFA"""""EVER"""

  • @alfistii1

YOU SPINELESS CLOWN WITH A DICK INFECTION...OPEN YOUR BIG MOUTH... ILL RAM ANOTHER SPAM SANDWICH DOWN YOUR GOB!!

  • Problem with Alfa's is the owners who thrash the twincams at every oppotunity and

skip or skimp on the servicing cost and then complain when things go wrong, well the twincams are all top end power 2500 to 6500rpm, to drive at a sporting pace without fear of impunity servicing is vital, just renew 5w/40 synthetic oil and filter every 6 months, cam belts every 3 years or 36000miles and thats all it takes to keep it in tip top condition.Oil changes 10 mins as filter is very well positioned

  • @alfistii1

    WRONG!

    ITS 10w/40 oil.

lol....PROOF THAT YOU AINT GOT NO ALFA...OTHERWISE YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN !!

very quickly like no other car i've owned, (Golf, Audi's, inc S2 coupe) i listened to the

negative comments and to my cost avoided Italian cars, well that will never happen

  • Alfa romeo, so much more than the sum of it's parts..forza alfa

  • Alfa Romeo is a dream.

  • Other cars break down a lot due to minor problems. When Alfa's break down they do so with a bang! The problem isn't the car though, it's what lies between the steering wheel and the chair. Look after your car like you look after your woman - keep her clean, greased up, and ride her hard every now and then. The grille isn't just for show, you know!

  • masterpiece

  • I am a proud owner of a 156 GTA.

    It is, quite simply, perfect.

  • well it sucks at crash tests... but it's one hell of a car ... damn i want one when i get my license

  • I would love to have a 156 as my first car, only the insurance premiums are stopping me... :(

  • whereas cars and their reliability have changed a lot during the last decades, the stereotypes haven't. sad thing is, that stereotypes make up a lot of resale value.

  • Hehe my alfa is broken right now, but i love my car anyway.. got a 156 2.0ts..

  • @Thabergkamp

    2.0l ts selespeed veloce.

1 gearbox 2 actuators 1 bottomn end rebuild and now a new engine. When its off the road i buy a cheep euro box off ebay and throw it away as soon as the alfa is fixed. I love my Alfa

  • i own a 156 since 1999, 220'000 km and i did never have any major problem with it!! im still using it everyday!! :D alfas breaking down is just a metropolitan legend!! in the other hand some friends of mine own audi and they pass half of their free time going to the garage reparing them!!

  • There are lots in England that are lying around unsold, as know one wants them

I have decided to use mine for banger racing, as have given up trying to sell it, maybe a way to recoup some money from the repairs these junk constantly need

I was shocked to see so many alfa's been used for banger racing:) I s'pose if you can't sell them thrash the heap of junk:)lol

  • @benny2rats

what have you got pal? i buy them for spares

  • i cant stand driving on the right side, it looks ........

  • @MilitantOldLady - those who slate the brand have either A) Never driven an Alfa, or B) had a one but never looked after the car properly.

These are not Vauxhall's, etc. These are cars for people that know cars and how to handle them and look after them properly. If you're looking for a car with no character, stick to your Chavstras, boring Focus' and drug dealers / wannabe gangsters favourite of BMW 3 Series.

  • not a bad car really, they do breakdown but major reason are often cheap owners using 2nd rate "original" parts. You must either know the stuff yourself or have a good alfa specialist nearby. MIlitantOldLady , the pre -00 156's had a LOT of problems. TS engines being the worst ones. -01 Onwards they still had the occasional bearing issues on engines. And if you got a 2nd rate "original" cambelt kit fitted it wasnt rare for them to break, bad bearings on some. V6 more reliable.

  • super car is only alfa, ferrari and generally italians cars

  • Register and discuss about this car in V6wall com ;)

  • I love it Beautiful car! Anonyme Lombardi Fabrique Automobili

  • thirsty ,not so much handling, luxury, very confortable ,nice interior ,not fast for petrolheads, sounds nice especially 6 cylinder v6,

  • Handling needs improvement but its well worth it and only needs decent shock. As for not fast for petrolheads?? It can do 0-60 in 6 sec,s! and it tops out (Restricted) 155mph. I will never sell mine because its so much better to drive than a BMW or audi that are v good cars but souless!

  • vedere la guida a destra su di un'Alfa Romeo fa veramente orrore

  • How strange that experts say that they are always breaking down, and according to JDPOWERS the majority of owners of alfa's claim that they are always breaking down:)lol seems your the only who thinks different:()

me thinks its all porkie pies you are talking militantlady:)lol

  • omg i have one now and i cant even make the 10k's service without the car breaking down. i almost replaced everything and its just falling apart. i luv the car but its not worth keeping it if it does not stop breaking down. next owner would be very lucky not too sure if i will sell it or keep it. spent so much money on it already fixing or i should say replacing parts, new actuator, cat converter, pumps, o2 abs sensors list goes on

  • i've had 3 alfa's since 2001....i've driven them across europe and britain several times aswell as using them every single day

not ONE has broken down EVER....

156, 156 facelift and now my 159....the only thing i had to replace were the ignition plates on the facelift which is like changing spark plugs

anyone saying they break down has never owned one and is an idiot

  • @MilitantOldLady

if your alfa is diesel then it will be very reliable....even alfa cant get that wrong!

  • @MilitantOldLady NO ONE has broken down? only because you're an old lady! ahahahah

  • @666SONOILBRANCO666

    wtf are you on about?

  • @MilitantOldLady one friend had 147 1.9 jtd...one of the best diesel of alfa....45k km and broken pistons

  • @666SONOILBRANCO666

    which year?

  • @MilitantOldLady '99....i love alfa style, but not alfa quality

  • @666SONOILBRANCO666

well there's your problem...DONT buy ANY alfa pre-2000 build year

  • @MilitantOldLady

Well then you have been lucky. Just take a look at the reliability statistics around.

I can find the first 5 statistics within 10 seconds, where the Alfa 156 is on one of the 5 last places when it comes to reliability. (Just take a look at for example the statistics from the german ADAC).

  • @KillerHOS1q2w3e

i dont believe such statistics...people are often idiots, at my local Alfa dealership where mine is servised, the mechanic told me 9 times out of 10 its the owners fault, mostly people dont even change the engine oil or simple things like that or just plain neglect the cars

  • @MilitantOldLady

Well - to a certain extent I agree. But I would think that in general Alfa owners do care more about their cars than for example Hyundai drivers, for whom its "just a car to transport you from A to B". And in the statistics the owners of the other car brands are just as or even more negligent when it comes to maintaining the car. In general I would say that statistics do not lie.

  • @KillerHOS1q2w3e ; Alfa is a sporting brand and owners will squeeze every

sinue of performance from their engines that means using full revs, alfa's do get

hammered and that puts a strain on parts, so yes they do need maintenance to

get the best from them, my Alfa's have cost no more to own than my previous Audi's which are also performance family cars, worth every penny...Forza Alfa

  • @MilitantOldLady ; I agree with your comments, if serviced on time alfa's are just

as reliable as the german brands, in fact my Alfa's have cost slightly less to run

than my previous Audi's ( 80, coupe S2, early A4), now 156 sportwagon and GTV.

Both 2.0ltr twinnys and very rev happy.....forza Alfa

  • @MilitantOldLady Hey bro, how much money do you pay for the service? I mean if it needs to change anything every time it needs to be serviced, like oil, sparks etc.

  • @GamerAndReviewer

the ignition plate replacement was still under warranty, so thank god, it would have been nearly 500€ plus labor because they had to take the whole engine head apart....otherwise, its 100 bucks total, depending on the garage you go to...2 cans of oil are pretty cheap depending on which brand you take, never more than 25€ a piece...you dont have to change spark plugs, oil filters are also cheap, 10€ mostly...the really pricey thing are tires...you can spend a lot on those

  • @MilitantOldLady So in conclusion, this car needs very few money at maintenance, right?

  • @GamerAndReviewer

essentially, yes....unless the thing breaks down, you shuldnt spend much on it...annual oil change (oil & filters)...depending where you live, winter tire change...dont worry, you dont have to rebuild the engine every 12 months :D

  • @GamerAndReviewer

i just noticed you're from Greece...no offense, but you miiiiight have a hard time finding a second hand 156 in good condition...at least that's what i've seen when i was there on holiday :D

  • @MilitantOldLady Yeah, there are many Alfa 156 in Greece. Some of them are not in good condition but there are some good ones too. =)

  • As for putting me out of my misery, the day I got rid of that heap of junk Alfa, was the day I was put out of my misery:)lol

  • My father have one

  • You bet:) and it was the predictable nightmare other owners had warned me about

I could'nt even sell it so had to give it away:)

They should stop producing this thrash, and as for the awful dealers, shut them down:) there useless

  • someone should put you out of your missery

  • you have never owned an alfa have you?

  • non so che stai dicendo ma se parli ,male dell'alfa ti taglio il cludoride

  • This car is pure beauty...i used to see a lot of them but i didn't payed attention to it...but when i started to look closer i realized the car is just stunning...i am completely in love with it...i want to buy one ...the shapes, lines of it are pure genius...i have no words to describe how much i like it :D...just amazing

  • @2fast4udk , The same thing happened to me mate :) Can't wait to get myself a V6 GT

  • You want some fast and down to the point "hardcore" blondie pie?

Quit bothering yourself with the stupid cars and call me.

  • I just love the sound of a Busso V6. The new GM engines may be more reliable, but they are certainly not better...

  • I love This Car! The Best Car ever!!;)

  • To all of you that really owns a 156. How is the reliability?

I think it is a beautiful car and would really like to own one myself.

  • they are reliable in their own legue, and more reliable than 166,i had one a year ago,and it was fantastic, all i hawe changed is the brake discs and calipers, and thats all

  • Okey, that sounds great. In a way it is good that it got a bad reputation, the prices for one is really low.

  • I sold my 156 1.9 JTD a few months ago, bought it new in 2000 (the pre-facelift one, looks best imo) and had few problems, most of them in its early years so still under warranty. The only major problem I ever had was caused by a software glitch related to the fuel pumps, which sometimes made the car stall out.. twice on the freeway and in dense traffic, tense moments.. It would restart a few secs later, though.

  • takin it to to the garage this mornin lol. 1st time in 3 years tho

  • It's ok. Owned one for just over a year now. Starter motor had gone the fuel guage dosn't read right and the bulb on the speedo keeps going. Would I get rid of it? Hell no! Best car I have ever had the pleasure to drive. Plenty of torque and sticks to the road like glue!

  • what a car!

  • I have one. Excellent car.

Those who put them down are either too fat to fit in them or don't know how to properly drive a vehicle.

  • You seem to have described the moron Jeremy Clarkson perfectly.

  • you are sick, cure yourself.

You aren't able to keep a conversation without descend in offensive language. Despite of your declared age: 41 y.o.

I really don't understand what's your matter...don't like Alfa? Ok, simply don't buy one, buy german or other cars. Is it so difficult?

The real question is: how is it possible that none in the youtube staff never banned your account. You are vulgar, childish, offensive.

  • All Alfas made in Italy...

But Greek Mecedes made in Turkey...

  • I Have an Alfa Romeo 155 - 8v classic engine tuned year 1993 model, its still near me in my basement till now!, when I pass near it I always take 10mins steering at it! & look the engine view :)

  • IF there so tasty and great to drive, why are they so hard to sell, even at give away price's??????

    :)nufff said,

  • fuck GERMAN A.D.A.C. I Owned a lot of alfas and they do not break down, and even if they did I would still drive it before vw, audi etc.

But if you are 65 years old, and you have just retired, then German car is the one to own, so, have a sit in your Golf and go fuck yourself. Btw. there are a lot of wv videos on Ytube so check them out, but no...you typed Alfa...I wonder why....

  • @CeznemDaTeZeznem you are so F-Ing right!!!!!

  • @CeznemDaTeZeznem ; I used to buy audi's in the nineties and they were good.

but the last 10 years i've owned alfa's and like yours mine have been faultless.

I have a metallic red 2000yr 2.0ltr twinspark sportwagon which i've owned last 4yrs it looks and drive like new, uses no oil like some, all electrics work. I have a red GTV 2.0ltr t.s and owned it 7 months and so far no issues.. so much better

looking than other cars and that twincam howls when on cam, fantastic...

    Forza Alfa Romeo

  • simply beautiful

  • some italian cars depreciate too much compared to their real value. Look at the alfa 155 : in France you can get it with the 166 hp v6 and 110 mkm only for 2000e ($2500-3000). Where else can you get such an awesome car at such a price ?!

  • Aweaome car? lol

    Awesome car for breaking down

They are the hardest car to sell in England

    because no one them:)simples

  • HAAAA HHAAAA

    WELL SAID SIR

  • If you buy a car thinking about selling it you're just wrong.. people who has bought a brand new 159 jts or a 147 ducati corse don´t give a damn about the after price nothing last's forever just the pleasure of driving such a tasty car

  • Listen Ratbrain!! Your mother must have depreciated at a massive rate because your rubbish. Go and fuck your rats in your shitty golf!!! Italian cars RULE!!!!

  • dirty bitch!!

  • WOW

  • Almost 6 years on and 73,000 miles, I'm still in love with my 156 GTA :) Superb car for the money.

  • i'm thinking of buying one 2nd hand... is it reliable? and isn't the front-wheel drive a nightmare?

  • Never left me stranded. Yes, like every other car I,ve owned, things go wrong once in a while, but no more than any other car. The FWD handling is well controlled but understeers if you floor it in a corner (duh) but when a Q2 diff is fitted, the car puts the power down very sweetly.

Look for a well looked after example and check it's had cambelt change and preferably with the Q2 limited slip diff fitted (only 500 GBP to fit). :-)

  • bxlnord,u bought a used alfa.... used and abused.... with how many km??? and for the bmw with 240000km no problem?? cmn now ,you are not been strait now.

  • Learn how to read you idiot,i stated "Brand new" as in strait from the factory to the dealer and from there out in my garage...always caused me troubles and eventually i needed a rebuild engine cuz my crankshaft broke, and yes mr turbostar my 328 is holding up and has now about 275.000 km on it still drives flawless, well i did had to change a mirror thanks to my visit to Paris 2 months ago, look i don't dislike italians or anything i fact i prefer them over germans but carwise....NO MORE!

  • brilliant review!!

  • Comment removed

  • i hope alfa returning to the US doesnt tarnish the brand.bloody celebrities like paris hilton and kanye west just gonna ruin it for alfisti

  • i cant wait for the 159 gta to come out! i've already started saving my cash for it, as alfa won't come to my country (usa) until at least 2011. when they come, they've got my money!

  • First you said that all italian cars are crap and only german cars are worthly, hencefore expensive. Then You said that Ferrari cars are ridiculous in britain because of the weather, THEN because made for showing off the +300 Bhp.What about the german porsche cayenne turbos,Brabuses,AMGs,M5,all +450bhp AND surely not made to let people drive unnoticed, are them all crap too?Dear Sir,your logic is utterly inconsistent. You speak only with spite. For the record, since you rised the issue,my IQ's133.

  • :)Italians car are crap, thats not just me saying it, its a well known fact, alfa's are the worst cars for breakdowns, GERMAN ADAC REPORTS:)

Lowscoring re JDPOWER SURVEY for customer satisfaction:)lol the facts are all out there

ferrari's are very unreliable, and thats another well known fact, and as a road car, they look ridiculous, like most socalled supercars:)

as for the brabans, amgs, m5s, etc....they look like cars, and are understated, which is more attractive, than in your face ferrari'

  • Omg you never drove a Ferrari, otherwise, you would write this crap. Grow up, kid, German cars are not bad, but Ferrari is Ferrari. No german car can compete with it.

  • Well he has a point, few years back i bought a brand new GTV and from the start i always had troubles with it,i'm not talking about minor flaws here,i'm talking serious things (ever had a crankshaft broken?? very expensive....i'm not beieng funny)

Now i have a BMW 328 which i bought used and it has almost 240.000km on it never had a single problem with it..it never let me down.

I did like the alfa better in terms of design but when we talk reliability....sorry no more italian cars for me..

  • you just got a rotten apple, I'm sorry for you but this doesn't mean that Italian cars aren't reliable ;)

  • So,because of the british weather all Ferrari are crap.Britain makes MG,Lotus,Caterham,TVR,Ariel,Morgan,Westfield and many other exoteric supercars. But you laugh only at Ferrari's owners because the car is italian. Yesterday I thought that some italian guy must have screwed your girfriend. Now I see that you can't possibly have one. The only suitable vehicle for you is an ambulance. Keep laughing, somebody will take care of you.

  • :)Because your IQ is so low,you failed to pick up on my comment, that road cars, with 300plus bhp are for idiots:) there is nothing more stupid than to see a car with that power, with some idiot, who's only reason to have it, is to pose:)lol and believe me, it is hilarious:)

I guess its really for people like you, who possess very low IQs:)mwa

  • Oh,always stereotypes against italians.pity that one brand makes the WHOLE F1 winning car.One european brand makes a GP winning bike. Both are italian. The Arna was crap.The8C awesome. Both italians. Some old Rovers were crap, the Lotus Elise is wonderful (I have one). All british. The first Class A was dangerous. Some old 911 was undrivable,BMW Z8 also. But so many german cars are beautiful, well engineered and even funny(see the Weissmann!)It is the car that matters, not the flag.Alfas are good cars now

  • :)Agreed, alfa's are slightly better, now there run and managed by germans:)lol

there where real shit, when run and managed by italians

  • What is wrong with you? Some hairy chested italian playboy screwed your girlfriend?

Is Ferrari a crap because the Italian make it? You will sell Your ass to have one, I bet.

Maybe with a svastic sticker on the bonnet.

  • :)ferrari in the present climate is embarassing. and they are crap and unreliable

These cars are for the braindead, with to much money

In England we laugh at people who drive ferrari's:)lol because they look so damn stupid, sittin there on 400 plus bhp, and unable to use it, sooo sooooo stupid:)lol

  • In England you laugh about your stupidity dont be so jealous when you see people driving Ferrari!!!

  • in england they laugh at people driving english cars... some of them look good but when it comes to reliability they horrible.

  • i've been to the uk, plenty of alfa's on the roads.. and if you don't like'em that's your problem but you look like a lifeless immature git spamming all these alfa vids...

  • somebody here got an inferiorty complex...

  • :)yes....you have

  • Trailer Billy!

  • The Ferrari F430 has 483 Horse Power and that is more than enough to leave a BMW, Mercedes, or Porsche in the dust.....

  • YOU ARE RIGHT =)

  • Dude..... Germans can't even breathe on Alfa Romeo -.- FIAT owns Alfa Romeo and no one owns FIAT..... BTW if you think by owned i mean pwned i mean like FIAT purchased Alfa Romeo.

  • Please don't compare a lowclass inferior italian badly built junkheap, to immaculate german engineering, there is no comparison, Bmw's outclass any italian or french car by miles:)

Alfa's tinny junk that always break down, thats why they never sell, no one wants to waste there money on rubbish:)lol

  • BMW is for people who are brain dead

  • You seem to have made a career out of slagging anything connected with italy, ratbrain. What's wrong...don't you have anything better to do with your dirty unemployed ass?
