Gracias.
This remark is for me important - similarity 'felt from the outside'. These two languages have the same root, however (for me/us) completely different accents, air and melody.
Russian lyrics are not so tragic as Polish; it's rather some kind of Autumn melancholy here ("do you remember our first DATE at the seaside, the time when we were so happy...", etc). Ketchup instead of hot blooded tango!
Por Una Cabeza ...isnt it?
Not a shame but still cover not original..

Кипарисы и розы в огне зари;

Właśnie zawsze podziwiałam wpływ polskiego tanga z lat 30h na kulturę Rosyjską....
I właśnie te cudowne tango słyszymy w jednym z najlepszych filmów Mihałkowa Nikity (nagroda w Kanach, nagroda Oskara) "Utomlonnoje solntse"!!!
A w wykonaniu Szulżenki słyszę po raz pierwszy!!!
Ogromne dzięki!
Słucham...i delektuje..
Cieszę się, cieszę się, cieszę się !!!
Moc pozdrowień dla Pana !!!

Ach....:-)

Thanks!

The song is lovely. I don't speak Russian or Polish but they sound similar to me.

Even without understanding the lyrics I enjoyed this very much.

Shulzhenko will appear some day again; she had true Russian feeling and knew well what she was singing about. Thank you.

It would be very interesting if she appeared again someday,
but I hope to at least hear her sing again in another life...
that would truly be heaven.

There may happen sometimes a 'hot-dog' reception only !

thanks for sharing, but why you wrote the name of this song in Polish?
Klavdia sing it in pure Russian.
Polish and Russian sounds very different, despite of the same roots.
asyamasya 4 years ago
Because it is a Polish song.
Listen to the all 5 items cycle and read my commentaries.
Here is a Russian version only (explained in detail in the commentary).
