  • Don't use Newspaper if you are concerned with Cancer.

Newspaper ink is *the* greatest envirohazard of landfills, leaching into the

earth and causing awful damage with its poisonous residues, such as lead, aluminum, cadmium and other toxic heavy metals not to mention the new GMO Soy Inks..

  • Go to Lisa's Flower and Vegetable Garden for Organic Gardening.

  • ITS SO GREAT TO BE OUT IN THIS SILLY GARDEN WITH YOU RONNIE

  • I don't understand,,No chemicals yet he puts paper in the soil with Ink on it.Is that not an issue?

  • anybody else notice he thanked him twice within like 4 seconds

  • funny these guys aint outside when he says its great to be lmao rich people are funny

  • Nice one. I am sure it will help many to start living better. ~Nothing better than eating your organic veg

  • I think organic tastes better

  • organic farming is an ideology

  • great vid! so helpful

  • Icould see only halfway. Like those videos very much. Share.

  • KER MESOŽDER

  • Organic just tastes better.

  • A great way to grow in small space is using the square foot method. Large yields for those that don't have big yards also bucket planting which can be done inside out of the cold.

  • I grow organic on 1/10 of an acre. See it at nedacres.com

  • Organic gardening is a religion. It has nothing to do with science. Organic gardeners believe the food they grow is healthier than food grown with the use of man made chemicals. That is their belief but it is only a belief. It isn't true at all of course. The fact of the matter is that organic food is not one bit healthier or "better" for you.

  • @Max5941 Ok, but would you spray RAID on your food?

  • @IFilmUNude Not all pesticides are the same. The pesticide in Raid is not the same as the pesticide used on agricultural products

  • @Max5941 oh thank you so much, i did'nt know that, so I'll eat more chemical products since they are good for me. Viva Monsanto!!!! Viva chemicals!!!!!

  • @valatanama what you need to do is educate yourself

  • Comment removed

  • @valatanama Without the pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers made by the various chemical companies agricultural products would be 1/10 as plentiful and 10 times more expensive than they are now. So thank goodness for science and for those who exploit it.

  • @Max5941 do u mean that money is more important than ur health?

  • @valatanama and what evidence do u have that the tiny amount of pesticides on food is harmful to your health? meanwhile there is plenty of evidence that not eating fruits and vegetables is very harmful to your health and without the pesticides and fertilizers that make fruits and vegetables cheap and plentiful, far fewer people could afford to consume them which would cause widespread health problems. What you need to do is try being objective and not blinded by your ideology.

  • @Max5941 what i need to do, it's not for you to tell me. thanks anyway monsanto

  • @valatanama Well it's your religion so objectivity, the truth and rationality won't have any influence on you

  • @Max5941 r u talking about u? lol

  • Check our video called GREEN HUG. An high graded fermented fertilizer which is perfect for any kind of plants/gardening.

  • Love organic!

  • i uploaded a video called

    Gaza archeo garden

    all watch nd enjoy

  • I am all about organic fruits and veggies. I am doing a fast where I only eat fresh fruits and veggies that are blended up for 60 days. It is making a huge difference in my diabetes. Follow my journey on my channel!

  • i have a veg garden and i sell some of my produce and as long as i cover the price of some seed i am happy and so are my friends

  • I have done my research across the web and have found a system that can be used in any climate. It is low cost, low watering but highly productive. The Garden Master created The Bucket Garden, you can grow in as little as a 4x6 space. Do your research before going out and spending time and money on pots and soil, this system will change the way you eat.

  • @1000Classics ...Yeah! I've had the privilege of meeting Ted Hallett and attending a garden clinic at his home, I must tell you he has it DOWN! Most impressive is Ted's lifetime of experience, which he generously shares. He's out to end world hunger not fatten his bank account!

  • @pudgiesC8 Awesome! I couldn't agree with you more. The best way to share this amazing system is by word of mouth, so I am doing all I can so that others can make a difference in their lives. Thank you for commenting, take care and good luck!

  • We eat too much junk food today, we're being poisoned for profit. We all need to grow more organic vegetables, particulary green vegetables [Brassica species]---Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts, Kale etc.

  • nothing wrong with sythetics. I tell people im a sythetic gardener not just a gardener.

  • Are pine needles a good form of mulch?

  • Go To Lisa's Garden to view a great GARDEN.

  • We are a Council based in Victoria Australia, and have developed 5 community gardens for our residents to freely come and grow organic produce. A healthy environment equals a healthy community. Please see our video, we hope you enjoy it: Search: Hume City Council Community Gardens

  • As went through YouTube about your How to grow an organic vegetable garden which is so impressive. I am from Nepal have been working in the field of organic agriculture for more than 15 years in Nepal. Now I am in US (Texas, Irving). I am so interested to work in your farm to learn and share the knowledge. I do not know how it will be possible or not? although I am expecting your valuable suggestion.

  • "Im an organic gardner...not just a gardner." the way he said it made me LOL.

Anyway, I hopefully want to do this someday along with my other career(s). First, I have to graduate highschool. :D

  • I wish I lived back in California and not NYC. I don't want to plant anything around here lol.

  • Will eating organic make me look like him?

  • Go to Squidoo.com and type "Painting Rocks" in the search bar,

  • "Plants are fed by micro organisims?" No they aren't-- please take a biology class before you become an "expert". Plants are not fed by micro organisms nor organic leaves or any mulch. "Organic" means carbon based. Plants emit Co2 but they require inorganic nutrients to survive: nitrogen, phosphorus, boron, calcium, magnesium even trace nutrients such as copper and iron are required for healthy plants.

  • I'm gonna have a kickass garden next year comparing to my amateur attempt this year =)

  • How the hell did I end here?

  • Great video! Thanks for the step by step!

  • You want to grow a successful organic garden? I have done my research across the web and have found a system that you will truly amaze you. The Bucket Garden was created by a man with years of experience in the agriculture industry. After raising 40 acres of organic vegetables he decided to come up with a way where an average family could grow just as delicious veggies with less space, watering and money. The Garden Master, start your research now

  • how do i know if the seed is all natural

  • If you use newspaper then it´s not organic. The ink on the paper is toxic. The straw, if obtained from a different source could contain pesticides as well.

  • @MrFrank1951 Not necessarily, a lot of newspaper inks are plant based now.

  • Want a unique japenese garden?

Only takes 30 minutes each week.

Create a tranquil retreat away from the stress of modern life.

    Check out the guide here:

    japenesegardens (dot) com

  • is organic better? =/

  • The guy interviewing him use to be a co-anchor on ABC World News really early in the morning.

  • You are doing a wonderful job. Everybody should do like you.

Beside God, health is the most important thing in the world.

Keep away news paper from your garden, because the ink is not organic.

Those molecules do not easily degrade.

By doing this you are putting chemical in your food.

The best thing to do is to use paper without ink.

Some charcoal would be a welcome in your soil.

Have you hear about Terra Preta?

Believe you me it works very well.

  • Have you hear about Terra Preta?

  • Is it the seeds, the soil or both that make it organic

  • @CoachU2Health It is both, a majority of the seeds you will find on the market are genetically modified (gmo's). The soil needs to be pesticide and fertilizer free, with the exception of organic compost. pretty much take an all natural seed and plant in some all natural soil and just add water...

  • @CoachU2Health FDA standards is both. the seeds for organic vegatables are non GMO seeds, the soil most be unfertilized and unpesticided chemicals for 3 years, and must keep these standards.

  • Why not improve the setting of pods in an organic garden with a bumblebee hive. Amateur growers can get hold of these on the internet nowadays and set them up in their vegetable patches. Beepol bumblebees are the British species.

  • Newspaper? How is that organic in any way?

  • @ellinorkempe The ink used in newspaper printing is soy based and none toxic..it's the coloured shiny ink you have to worry about.

  • @000Winter000 Ah ok, good. We don't even have that here where I live..

  • Check out "no dig gardening"...a book by Esther Deans. No digging. (works well if you live in a semi-rural area where spoiled lucerne bales and straw are available, but can work even in a small residential garden).

  • will a rake (not a yard broom) work instead of the fork

  • Watch 'Future of Food' Debra Koonz-Garcia

  • Vegetables have the 'power' to filtrate chemicals.

It is true, it is better to 'do it' wothout them, but it is not a big issue to go and buy them from the groccery, in case you do not have land to plant something.

  • GMO=Grow my own

  • Organic taste better too! Don't forget to use bamboo poles as your garden stakes =)

  • Oh yes yes this is very very interesting and i may have to start think about growing my own garden! :-)

  • Why is organic food more expensive?

  • @QWERTYEXOTIC72 weather it's true or not they try to pass off the price due to the fact of not using chemical fertilizer and pesticides, which means you have more loss through the grow season ,with no promis you'll have any return on your garden at all. Plus comercial farmers need to grow quanity not quality and organic growing might take longer, if they can force the plant to grow that means more profit for them. weather or not thats all true idk just what i always hear

  • @streetpunk99 I was doing a spot of gardening yesterday when I noticed some of my flowers had died.

As a mark of respect, I went out and tied a member of my family to a lamppost.

  • @SG55OVCam clearly you've beein ripping maskaline for way way to long mate........can't stop here, this is bat country.....

  • @streetpunk99 I heard a lot of organic products is referred to as "rejects" and doesn't reach the supermarket shelf. Sad, but true.

  • @QWERTYEXOTIC72 wouldnt doubt it, their tryign to ban organic all together, this gonverment wants us to be unhealthy.....same reason sterioids are illegal, think their bad for you, search "bigger stronger faster" and learn something that'll change your mind about them forever.

  • @QWERTYEXOTIC72 instead of relying on a chemicals or pesticides to kill off weeds and bad insects we have to remove them ourselves which is more time consuming. and we may not remove all the insects so some of the crop could die or wouldn't sell in the stores. organic is the way to go!

  • @whatiswell Organic foods is the way to go. The funny thing is less then 10% of my food consumption is organic.

  • @QWERTYEXOTIC72 i forgot to say that some organic food does not have as long of a shelf life then food syntheticlly presived- because there are no synthetic presivatives in organic (some food has naturally occuring presivatives though) we can change our eating habits if we want to. i think it's a good idea:) like i say if we want good (real) food we are going to have to pay more for it-

  • If anyone has any organic meal suggestions, put the ingrediants and /or a picture with the name on my channel and/or my video ''Organic Meal Suggestions".

  • My garden i can say actually works. Its quite easy... all you do if you live in a semi wooded to wooded area is find a small patch.

    1. Clear it so its just the natural dirt.

    2. Find some wood and put it into a barrel and burn it. Put the ashes over the dirt.

    3. Put a soil/manure mixture over it.

    4. Plant seeds or put in small plants. It works!

  • what happened to the old school farmers the real farmers?

  • @jakespeed23 yes the real farmers ... where are they?

  • AIGHT THANKS SCOTT BRO MAN

  • grown own, Try my recipes by your veggie !

  • Oh not the same person, still though.

  • make compost tee it works great for a fertilizer and you will have 10 times the frute in your garden

  • ere do i buy seeds ???

  • @sniperboy102 Google "heirloom"..... I like an online store called dirtworks. They are in vermont or new hampshire... They only sell certified organic seeds and have a wide variety of seeds as well...

  • I grow organic but want to point out that there is not a scintilla of proof that organics are "healthier" than "regular" produce. Numerous tests have been conducted on the quality of produce and I have yet to find one with documented evidence that organic is better.

The only downside to organic is the lower yield. As one agronomist said, "If we were forced to use organic, we'd starve" LOL

  • @smb12321 I think you are highly misinformed and uneducated. The nutrient value is higher due to not only less travel time from point a to b but there is not GMOs or pesticides. I know I dont want to ingest that crap!

  • @brienicole Disagreements is not proof of lack of education. Please list the studies indicating that nutrient value for organics is higher. Organic militants use straw men. This is not the 1930's when we poured tons of harsh poisons on strawberries. Most fertilizers & insecticides are safe. (I know because I investigated several for a particular pest.)

As a farmer friend said, "Why in the world would I feed my kids bad food?" Then again, he's too busy to lecture us on YouTube. LOL

  • @brienicole As a biologist I can tell you that organic is better for you than gmo's and produce treated with pesticide.... There is no such thing as pesticides made with man made chemicals that are good for you.... If you want to deter insects try cedar wood chips or dust.... They don't like that and its natural and won't harm your produce....

  • @smb12321 That is not true... We would not starve... You would just have to work harder. And as for your idea about no proof of better quality, I don't know what studies you were looking at but GMO'd seeds and pesticide maintained produce have been proven to have less yield and less qauntity.... Studies have been done in India which proves just that.... I could say this safely as a biologist who studies the environment as well as genetics...

  • @newave123456 Science Daily (covering current research): "Society of Chemical Industry’s (SCI) Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture shows there is no evidence to support the argument that organic food is better than food grown with the use of pesticides and chemicals" They have an entire issue devoted to studies supporting this.

The heartlessness of GMO opponents in denying use in Africa is incredible. For political reasons they condemn millions to starvation & poor nutrition.

  • @smb12321 Here is the first problem with your proof. "Society of Chemical Industry". Did you really expect a non-bias study? Really? The FDA is also a bad place to find studies. The FDA is run by GMO ceo's or former ceo's in lthe last ten years. You wanna fix Africa's starvation problem? Try bringing in horticulture and environmentalists to train the people how to grow food for their region. If not possible to grow food where they live, then spend money to move them to a more hospitable area.

  • @newave123456 Or you could just give Africa condoms

  • @PeterVanVoorhis I despise non-constructive conversation....

  • @newave123456 Basically

  • @newave123456 Have you ever been involved with moving people from their homes? Refugees? Give it a try sometime and then get back to us.

  • @FurorVikingorum I bet you beans to dollars a starving person would move anywhere rather than starve to death. Tribal Africans are nomadic by nature. They are willing to move for food. No need to make issues complicated. Besides.... that portion is not the real issue. The issue is organic vs chemical pesticides and GMO's. Organic is always better. Nature is perfect, no need to tinker.

  • @newave123456 Not only that but they dissed my beautiful and enlightening psilocybin mushrooms :(

  • @newave123456 teaching everyone of them to grow food would work. Only if it where GMO's regular non GMO's won't grow in a region like that. Unless you built a greenhouse type environment.

  • what about the toxins from the newspaper ink?

  • @adamberk07 I hear newspaper ink can be soy based but you should check with the newspaper company to find out. If it does have toxins, I think it may decompose over time.

  • @adamberk07 yeah usually they are soy based. Generally your ok to go with black and white and avoid colors.

  • @kentuckianagardener The problem is, that soy is now mostly genetically modified! I'm thinking, to use large sheets of unbleached paper (like the kind found in some mail-order packages)?

  • Im The Kentuckiana Gardener and we also enjoy growing organically. We started our low cost raised beds by going to a sawmill and getting free wood slabs. We also grew cold crops through the winter in our little hoop house.

  • @kentuckianagardener Free wood? OMG. Why were they handing out free wood? I want some :D

  • @Tsuguayme Yeah, its kind of normal around here to get free wood slabs at the mill. But cedar works great if you can get it, as it lasts several years.

  • @kentuckianagardener Wow they must be really generous. But did they hand it out because the wood was not great quality, had holes in it, or whatnot?

  • don't forget people, you don't need to dig at all......no dig gardening ....look it up

  • Check out my subscription goal on my page!!! lets go green mo fo's!!!!!!

  • never mind, i watched ur next video. i need to find and capture some lady bugs, and get a bird bath, but then the birds will eat the lady bugs?

  • i saw a spider web. is that common to throw some spiders in ur garden to eat other bugs?

  • organic food is healthy and good. for one, smoothies. taste the best when they are all made of real fruit

  • good

  • grow organic :-)

  • just put organic mater or some mulch (approx 10-15cm thick) on the ground in the late autumn, then just wait for the spring to come when you need to sow your seeds. Make holes in the mulch or what's left of it then put the seeds ya want. wait for seedlings to come, then mulch again.. this way you dont need to dig the soil and to damage to its structure.

  • i have an idea to keep unwanted animals in your garden put a low voltage electric fenceing electric fenceing that will not electricuite or killl the animal but it will give all animals succ a painfull and uncomfordable electric shock soo that no animals will ever eat your tomato plants ever again

  • hahah! I think SHE is on E.. And who the hell trolls on an organic garden video? hahaha shit cracks me up. KittyCRACKcarley id say.

On a gardening note: Ive grown some sweet Big Bang weed this winter. I used Fertilizer though. Sadly no organic dope. No gardener should be without the burning bush

  • nice vid man!

  • marijuana is a vegetable. The most popular and unpopular vegetable. grow that shit.

  • @111skcusennast Vegetable? I think you mean beautiful, succulent plant of heavenly blooms and bounteous harvests.

  • Also to prevent weeds don't dig your soil. Just place some compost on top and plant into that. No dig is the way to go. Lasagna all day.

  • bellissimo GREETINGS FROM ITALY

  • Online women for dating **rockmycity.info**

  • Very informative video! Thank you for posting! We try to eat and buy organic fruits and vegetables whenever possible. If you are interested in learning more about organic issues, please take a moment to watch our video Why Organic Cotton? Did you know that every year, over 456 million lbs of toxic chemicals are used in the production of organic cotton?

  • Thanks for the tips on organic gardening! Organic food is so delicious, and so good for the environment, so we try to eat organic whenever possible. One issue that a lot of people are still unaware of is organic cotton. If we all switched to organic cotton from conventionally grown, it would save 456 mil. lbs. of pesticides every year. If you're interested in learning more, please watch our video: Why Organic Cotton?

  • and those dudes are not outside. I can spot green screen a mile away. LOL

  • I JUST FAPPED.

  • @oldmanhemmaha shut the hell up faggot

  • @berserkerewolf yes I am.

  • @berserkerewolf Go back to elementary school and learn how to punctuate, asshole!

  • @kittycatcarley why the fuck should I punctuate in a chat box? go back to sucking cock where you belong, useless whore

  • @berserkerewolf I feel sorry for you. Go take some E, masturbate and learn about love. You are a useless, hopeless, worthless person without love. Hating people you don't know will only leave you an unremembered, forgotten asshole.

  • @kittycatcarley been there, done that, go back to sucking cock because your words are still meaningless babble

  • THIS IS NOT ORGANIC FOOD LOOK LIKE SHIT TOO BEAUTIFUL.ORGANIC VEG AND FOOD LOOK DIFFERENT AND MORE SIMPLE AND MORE SCRUFFV

  • Grew up and own a 300 acre farm and knowing where your food came from, the back 40 is so important. Feeding others good wholesome food is not a bad feeling either. Great videos!

  • Fill half the tierce with water and a couple of heaped table spoons of carbamide. Then put some grass and poke all this. Then as you get more grass add it there each time dusting a little with carbamide. In a few weeks you'll get extremely smelly tierce with what's called gold for plants. Mind to have your tierce covered in the far corner. First you need to water plants and then dilute the tierce liquid with water and pour your tomatoes or other plants.

  • Listen out for me, new gardeners! Dears, organic doesn't mean mineral fertilisers escape. It does mean an absence of pesticides, GMOs and carcinogens!!! Dears, don't try to avoid using mineral fertilisers! Doing that you'll come to no good! Remember that! Look at 3:33. Never take such old leaves! They will always for 99% propagate plant and soil deseases. And as to a compost, it's an easiest thing to make. Always gather cut grass from your lawn (we need herbage) and put it into a tierce,

  • Very helpful ideas and thoughts guys.. Especially for those people planning to have garden in their yard..

  • You are right, all you need is a 4x8 space. What you are missing is education, The Garden Master is the answer. An inexpensive, low water use, green gardening system that provides fresh organic vegetables that will sustain a large family. Say goodbye to weeds, you will have none. Get started in the right direction, check out The Garden Master videos.

  • i had a small garden in my yard.

Earth worm is the key for fertilize soil.

    but i plant trees.

  • I made an organic raised planter garden so you don't have to bend over as much....

  • wooden stakes from a shop ?!\

... go look in the woods for felled trees/ dropped branches ... saw em up to size ..free stakes !

easiest way is planting spuds through the grass,.. brakes up the soil --grass dies down because of no light cover , the following year ye good to go. soils will be nicely nicley.

or , if you have pigs ...

anyway , keep the weeds , there IS a reason they grow ..permaculture FTW.

  • @MrEnergyCzar I found this weed killer tool that also reduces bending over by a lot, really helps my back, maybe some of you will find it useful so I'll pass it on, check it out - weedcaneDOTcom

  • @MrEnergyCzar How many of her video's did you make that comment in..?

  • Very useful. visit, "for a green living (dot) com to find a vast range of organic/green products to lead a green lifestyle..

  • Well, most Chef's know that organic is a basterized term. Try looking up the Chef's Garden. I believe it is in Ohio.

  • Hi guys Like the clip. I am doing something similar, My clips are on Natural vegetable growing. Experience is key :)

  • Guinea Fowl Help! Check out some of my videos!

Oh and whats with the umbrella at 4:18 ? Shade?

  • Great job!

  • lots of work in an organic garden 4 the unemployed or sick.healthy life style=healthy body n mind.healthy soil = healthy crops=healthy bodies

  • What is a Garden Vegetable?

  • You should see the gardening system I found! The Most Advanced Gardening System In The World. You can actually grow anywhere in the world with it and at any time or temperature. When I was in Arizona I visited there’re demonstration gardens. They were awesome!! They provide e-mail support and video instruction and demonstrations. They also provide a garden clinic once a month that you can attend and that will soon be televised online. The Garden Master dot com Check it out!

  • i've got a question. what if dead animals are buried in the area? would the crops be tainted and poisonous for consumption?

  • Hey I've got some great vids on hydroponics

  • @happygameshow Hydroponics is too costly, yields too small plants, requires too much work, and is not how nature intended plants to be grown.I'm a happy container garderner. I do love that hydroponic salad though.
