they're super dull and then put the tips in some type of glue that stays on for multiple hours and sticks only to skin. so it's fake. i remember one time the guy who was supposed to dull them didn't show up for work :)

I went to a tna show and abyss walked past me and my friends and stopped and yanked out a tack from his arm and his arm bled and left blood all over the tack.. the tacks are real only because they will only hurt like a cut so it wont be life threatning as the point isnt long enough to do much damage
