  • My highschool physics teacher had one and put a 100$ bill in it, needless to say the kids who tried to steal it were sadly disapointed. Not to bubbahs question. I viewed the pink pig at a very low angle and still was able to see it

  • What about to try put inside a laserpointer?

  • but... will it blend?

  • disturbing

  • sounds like James May :)

  • put a transparent lcd or oled in it see what happens

  • dont ever put that hand on it in the sun cause it'll melt it it

  • hello!this is...VERY cool!

    where can i buy this?

    i wanna have it!really!

    l.g.

  • your missing the pig

  • What happens if you view at a lowe angle? Will the hologram still physically be on top, or will it disapear?

  • @BuddhaMaster84 you have to look at it from about that angle. If you look at it from the side there is no image floating on top.

  • wait, what the fuck? this is awesome, is beyond my brain capacity.....WIKIPEDIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

  • is it possible to make these life sized? and a human can use it?

  • thats cool

  • where do o get one of thoes

  • are you joking? your just putting your finger in front of it

  • @mattamomo no it's true. I went to see this MIRAASSSHHH and it's really this fantastic. You think that the pig is up there, but it's not!!

  • @mattamomo >< it just looks that way becuase of the way the eye sees it i did this forever ago and its really cool so shut up if you dont know aht your talking about

  • yes i'm the lamest of all the jokers ! you cant die ! i cant die ! we are already one ... that thats all folks folkzersz fuckerz,

    your love... or what ?

  • so wait, it only takes 2 concave reflective bowls, with a circle hole on the top bowl?

  • Get a bigger version and put a rolled up cash in it :)

  • Excelent. But, i think itll become useful when they find the way that people can interact with objects reflected in this way. It would be great if you had this in a combination of 3d visual communications and interface commanded by finger touches.

  • @RCAMPOMAS Someone already made an interactive version. This was how Sega's Time Traveler "holographic" arcade machine worked. I was pretty impressed when I saw that as a kid... it looked like something out of Star Wars.

  • it's really cool, the hologram is actually just the reflection of the pig

  • Showcase special :)

We sold that at the As-Seen-On-TV store where I worked :)

    Super cool image...total mind trip!

  • Yea right, you can buy these things at novelty shops, it's not fake. It's actually common. And it's not a hologram, it's only a mirage.

  • haha you're stupid.

  • if u shot a small vid in that it could be possible to make a moving hologram but it would probably not look very good

  • The MIRAASSSHHH

  • mirraaaaaaaaaaaashhhhhh

  • i use to have one of those around 10 years ago, i wonder what happened to it... kids loved it

  • Very frustrating. My brain tells me that it's solid, but yet it isn't. I will have to stay away from those things or else it'll fry my brain.

  • I think we can do it by ourselvs

  • very cool! can you tell me how much is it?

    in our conutry..that is RMB89

  • they are $45 shipping included, or less than $10 on ebay ( us dollars)

  • someone needs to put a small video player in one of those! i tried it with my ipod and it looked awesome! (but it was kinda hard to read backwards)

  • He reminds me of the guy from The Gadget Show, y'know the gye with the grey hair

  • LOL the guys accent is so cool.

even sounds like a mad scientist :)

  • cool

  • Very, very simple

  • hahahahaha amazing

  • It's just a parabolic mirror. Not very impressive. Every Physics room has one.

  • The best version is USA made. It will cost you more than any cheepos but well worth it. Try Edmund Scientific or Opti-Gone International. Mirage. . .

  • I can't get it to load, either.

  • mine doesn't load.

  • Pretty cool toy, I just bought for $7.95 from MyVirtualZoneDOTcom

  • omg!

  • I have that

  • thats cool

  • :D this is interesting!

  • I want one of those.. hwo can I get it?

  • i have one, i got mine from the science museum in london.

  • omg if you super size this and add a telephoone of sum sort you get a very short distance one-way hologram telephone!

  • hahahahahaha wtf

  • Well thought,very interesting !

  • i love these things!!! as to how to make one...two perfectly concave mirrors, one with a hole dead center...actually, it'd be easier to buy one, lol.

  • he hit the pig , and the pig turn so it's a true :]

  • OH CRAP!

  • my aunt has one of these....as soon as i saw it i immediatly thought someone HAS to build one if these but huge and under ground....it would be perfect for being immature!

  • were do u get it i want one

  • Our physics teacher has one of those

  • "The miraaaage is just not quite theeeere."

    Lol

  • Yeah I remember that in middle school/high school. SO much fun to play with

  • FAKE

  • lol, that's not fake. my 7th grade science teacher had one of those. you can pretty much drop any small object into the bottom. looks pretty cool.

  • hmmmm......cool

  • Its just a Illusion with a mirror thats it

  • Kewl!

  • you could of got one of those at mcD's for a toy

  • the miraaaaaage LOL!

  • lol, he was, you just couldnt see it properly....noob

  • i'm thinking about buying one from grand illusion but i'm not sure.

  • i want one

  • kwl...

  • The pig seems to be over the bowl but no, it's inside.

    Wow!!! amazing

  • why was the guy not touching the pig he put his finger in front of it not on it.... lame

  • It looks that way, but from the angle he was viewing it, it looked to him as though he was putting his finger though it. I own one of these, it is something that you have to see in person to appreciate.

  • i own the same object, found in a toy store... no lame, just science...
