I have a question. Why weren't Black Panthers on the streets acting as security in Roseland the day Derrion Albert was viciously beaten to death? That would have prevented it right? The problem with the nightstick is it is outside a polling place. Yes he may have a right to carry a nightstick. I have a right to electioneer, but not at a polling place. Where I live I have a blanket right to carry a weapon, but NOT to intimidate someone with it. This guy is dressed and standing to be easily visible, to be noticed. Personally I think these guys are entitled to be there, even to carry a stick for self defence, however it's the agressive position they take directly in front of the door, the pacing and brandishing of a weapon that really puts them in the wrong. I simply do not see how they could intimidate voters. Voters can go INSIDE and vote for whoever they want. These guys can't chase anyone away and they did not force anyone away. I have a question. Why weren't Black Panthers on the streets acting as security in Roseland the day Derrion Albert was viciously beaten to death? That would have prevented it right? And it probably would have sent a powerful message throughout the community. The cameraman wanted them to look dangerous you can tell by when he started filming.
