SPOILERS: Golbez is Cecil's brother, he was being controlled by the evil lunarian Zemus (Zemorus) because he's half lunarian (half moon people, half human just like Cecil), but Fusuya frees the control and he becomes Cecils Ally.

they should make a final fantasy where like they did in this where all the final fantasy world collide but this time with final fantasy 13 and kingdom hearts also the battle system should be like kingdom hearts and all the characters from the other world should be in it like garnet, rydia , kain, and like hope from final fantasy 13. but this is just me.

Cecil is one of the greatest characters in FF history. He was both good and evil and there was always a love interest. We knew what he had to fight for in the beginning. And in the path to his finding of light, his resolve grows more and more.

Welp, in the game, Cecil starts out as a Dark Knight, serving the "King" of Baron and killing those who stand in the way of collecting the crystals. Later, when he is separated from his friends, Cecil tries to convert to the light, and along with two twin mages, he climbs Mt. Ordeals, meeting up with an old friend, and once at the top, a voice speaks to him and helps him find the light in his heart, thus transforming him into a Paladin. It's a really great game. You should try to get it :3

this games story in my opinion is like a anime show. The game starts as a light wieght story just going around getting crystals. But then the game starts to get serious with the chaos saga and then you just want to see what happens next.

Dark Knight Cecil looks evil... I prefer the paladin look... Typical Tidus to end a tense situation! Cecil's voice actor plays the part well, but i don't think it suits his Dark Knight form... But i don't really like the amrour as he looks evil... i already said that didn't i... O.o

fair enough. i like the paladin better as well. just cant get my head round his weapon. in all the ps1 pics as well as the others (except ds) he has a sword. i understand the slight changs because too many mains use swords and i think they tried to balance it a little. but would it have killed them to make a weapon that looked cool and made sense? it's like the gunblade. cool but makes no sense.

this will sound nerdy (it is) but i know how the gunblade works and if it was real then i would not use it. there are many ways to break a wrist but that is one way i dont want. i guess they chose swords because they have a very long history and they look cool.

lolz but soem characters DO use gunblades! like Squall or Yazoo(His IS a gunblade apparantly!) when they do a close up of Squall's sword you can see the revolver thingy at the end... O.o

this will sound nerdy by miles. the gunblade doesnt shoot anything. what it does is when you pull the trigger it sends vibrations down the blade and instead of a clean cut you get a massive gash of pain. i guess squall uses magic for the projectiles. i dont know yazoo (was he a guy from ff7 ac? if so that was just a normal gun) i just dont like the pisto grip. good thinking for a weapon but a bad design.

Apparantly (According to an offical website) it's a gunblade! O.o and yeh Yazoo is from AC hes like one of the really bad guys... he does wield a gun(That actually shoots!) but it has a small blade on top... more like a GunKnife... hey! I didn't name them! =D

i know its a gun blade but the only gun part is the handle. the rest is a sword that vibrates (from wiki).

yazoos gun is just a pistol with a knife. why couldnt they think of a normal sword that shoots? it's final fantasy it doesnt have to make sense.

No, I'd see him being not a generic villain, but more of an idealistic villain. He does things in unorthodox ways to get others to understand who they are, but also really trusts no one. He believes Cecil must rely on only himself to find his crystal, so it is his ideals that are in a way selfish...
