@wheresthejam It does not handle chords. However, I've tried it with a 5 string and it works fine. It detects the low B, no problem.

am i the only guy who would use the synth for other than dumb funk basslines which sound like they could only be used in some lame porn movies? srsly im searching my ass off for a nice bass synth to make some good electro rock. but every bass synth just sounds like a fart in the face of good music. why aint there a synth that makes a bass sound like what its supposed to sound like, a fat, electronic sounding, synth bass and not a farting cow?

@elefantkaputt: My teacher/buddy has the bass Micro Synth. It's pretty cool and priced the same as this pedal. To be honest, I really like this one better just for the ability to have the software and save presets so you don't have to readjust the knobs and all that. I do like the preamp gain adjustment on the Micro Synth.

@elefantkaputt I used a DigiTech Bass Synth Wah for years. I don't even play funk. I used it for playing a lead or giving some extra grit to a bass part.

@elefantkaputt perhaps you should watch the actual markbass demo of this pedal. seems like they covered the bases of it's true sound a bit better, and it actually sounds like you could get some crazy synths out of it. this guys problem is that rather than tweaking the pedal frequently to show you the plethora of sounds this thing can do, he decided to show only certain sounds it can make and focused on playing more. huge problem with most youtube demos imo..
