  • @BittersweetLouie A classmate of mine turned me on to this version of this song and it blew our freggin minds that you guys are from dayton! We are always looking for music history of our Gem city.

  • same here found on a 80's girl comp. Awesome, great song. several versions by other groups as well

  • Beautiful Sad Song. Thanks for the upload!

(this is EXACTLY how i've felt All These Years damit.)

    (me - i'm NOT the h'n kind.)

    (you're not either.)

  • : )

  • @BittersweetLouie - I discovered it in the eighties on a comp titled Girls In The Garage, it was my favorite song on it. I think that from here we can see more things in America than people who actually live in the USA... :))

  • @BittersweetLouie Hi, thank you for the music and the informations. It's quite a classic now, time is a good judge. Greetings from Italy!

  • yey thanks! great song..I was already beginning to think it's not on youtube :)

  • Just go to myspace and type in the bittersweets under music.

For some reason this site won't let me post the link to their page.

  • is the one posted down here?

usually YT don't allow direct links, so you have to use 'dot', 'slash' or something :)

    cheers

  • Hey Thanks alot!!!

  • Does anyone have any pictures of either the Bittersweets or the Tulu Babies?

  • The tempo and chord progression of this was probably influenced by both "Tired Of Waiting For You" and "Five O'Clock World." The release date would certainly bear that out.

  • and a Guitar Riff reminescent of "Little Black Egg" by the NightCrawlers.

  • I think so, since it has been written by Tulu Babies' keyboard player D. McCutcheon and both bands were from Cleveland; anyway they had the same producers/arrangers (J.Testa-D.White)and were released on the same label (Tema)in late '65.

  • Tulu Babies version was about a year before this one. This version was released February 1967.
