@gewizz2 hell no, that is a horrible idea, a cheap microscope claiming to have 1200x magnification for one is probably 100x at most, and second, the resolution is probably garbage, the microscopes we use at my university have excellent resolution at high powers like that, but thats because theyre $17,000 top of the line new 2011 models, a cheap microscope like the ones from dealextreme will only discourage you from any interest you have in the field
