Sorry that the soundtrack was removed. I would have loved to have seen it with the song. You all did a very nice job with the video. Keep up the good work. :)

Nice video. Based on the song and the fact that it was a school project, I was expecting something terribly overwrought but still morbid enough for a a good, cheap laugh. But it actually was well worth watching - nicely thought out, filmed, and put together - and goes along perfectly with the Gabriel song.
It seems like Peter Gabriel (or his staff?) didn't like us using his song like this - so someone reported it and the sound was removed. His music is not available on Spotify either. Quite sad. Hopefully we'll be able to show the real version somehow in the future. :)
It's not Peter Gabriel's fault. The Warner Music Group has claimed control over whatever music they can get their greedy hands on. This is a great video, and if Peter Gabriel saw it, I'm sure he would love what Maja, Camilla, and Emma did with his song. He might very well have seen it already, and is upset that they couldn't keep the music in.
Wow, great job! I was about 8 years old when this record came out; my friend's older brother played this song for us and freaked us right out.
The video really captures the song's intensity and creepiness. Love the business in the kitchen with the family photos and the way it's edited to fit the xylophone music. The spiral staircase cutting to the lampshade is also very cool.
Wow! Fair play girls. For a home made video that was awesome. I dare say Peter himself would be impressed (not sure why he never made a video himself) it's midnight now and I've got to work tomorrow...but I don't want to go to bed now :( Great Job!!
WOW! CREEPY! The Creepyest part is when the girl's eyes are peeking from her bed covers! This truely is a timeless song by Gabriel, can you believe this song came out in 1980! and there was no video by Gabriel of this!Because he would be SO creepy in it,by just showing his eyes! Great Job on this Video! made the hair on my arms stand up!Whoah!
WOW! I hope you won something for that project that was one of the best videos I have ever seen! The scene where the intruder was looking at the photo albums made a shiver run down my spine. Thanks for posting it.
Nice video. Well shot, I must say! This track by Peter Gabriel is astounding! Phil Collins played drums on this one and is best known its innovative drum sound (without any cymbals).

The intro to one of Peter Gabriel's finest albums, it was the beginning of his more inventive, artistic greatness.

Sad, The Warner Music Group should be paying you for your work, instead they walk on you like a cockroach.

This video is pretty much as creepy as this song, and that's really saying something. Awesome.

OK concept but looks pretty unprofessional and like you just tried to use camera effects/after effects to make it look better
indalcecio 4 years ago
Unprofessional? Really? I mean for a "home-made" a.k.a. amateur video you would expect professional expensive video right? Asshole!
I think it is great, very literal interpretation, but you capture the feeling in the song great!
