Aren't people ASHAMED of being Catholic? They are the biggest harbingers of guilt, fear, and sado-masochism. Why would anyone want to belong to church that NEVER excommunicated Hitler, and has been "touching" kids for decades. I am so relieved that I never bought into this hypocritical religion. I think religion is bound to become more marginalised as time goes on we mostly want evidence on which to base decisions not blind faith. As for the Nazi argument, Norway and Sweden arent particularly religious and they are two of the most peaceful of countries.

I would also like to point out that the Nazis followed many beliefs, which have influences from neo-pagan "sun worship" New Age beliefs and also catholicism.
As for "extremist atheists" I find the very concept absurd, when has an atheist ever killed or committed martyrdom for his or her beliefs?
