PES 2011 bugs and annoyments

there is also the problem with the full backs if you play BAL where the fullbacks will try to dribble past opponents with minimal effort as a result they lose the ball...it happens all the time....also what with this AI always programmed to volley or first time ball when the ball after a corner...geezzz..PES is getting lamer and lamer and PES 2012 is shit as well

i remember when i used to play pes 2011...u mentioned it on this vid...like when there's an open goal due to a rebound or ricochet, the striker just kicks the ball in the direction of the goalkeeper instead of the goal...i don't understand..it happened to me numerous times..is it scripting ?

The PES series is best utilized for :

A ) goal compilations to upload to youtube (due to the much more realistic graphics / physics than fifa), and

b) online play

The offline modes like Master League, Season, etc, are too frustrating to take seriously, due to the horrendous AI / CPU cheating issues which have been present for years, and Konami has shown no desire to fix.

lol good video. i used to love pro evo and would swear against fifa. but i find pro evo 2011 infuriating to play, especially the online master league. i find myself shouting at the screen while my players do anything but what i try and make them do. i haven't really played fifa but i can imagine it could easily be better then pro evo this time round. hope they do a better job of 2012 or i'll be moving to the fifa camp!

I loved this video, really showed how Kacondomi FAIL with their coding. To think these programmers etc get millions of bucks to produce this. Has always made me laugh when u bring the goal keeper out and he runs past the ball. Unfortunately for Kacondomi, other games are getting so good now they really have to pull it out the bag. Their coding is a little amateurish at times...

i agree much better with fifa than pes because FIFA 12 is gonna even more better than FIFA 11 once FIFA this year has better AI than pes, the ea is gonna increase the AI realism on next year so i doubt that pes 2012 is gonna be a hope to fifa haters because make sure that i think pes is really for kids at this time, just watch the players running in-game, they look dancers (this is not to offend konami but even i tested the game and the AI really sucks).

anyone noticed that you can only switch between 2 players? try to arrange your midfield when you play 4-3-3 while opponents gk owns ball and you see what i mean ..

i've always been a fan of PES, but they actually make it worse and worse year after year.

It seems they want ppl to buy EA Sports games or smth. It's just ridiculous how many bugs there are in this game - U didnt mention the chaotic AI when it's up to offside, running out of the field with no reason and chaotic offensive running-ways. They should do a way better 2012, or they will lose another customer.

Love it. Annoying as some of them are, they're what make PES so classic.  The one where it hits the bar, hits the prone keeper and then the keeper gets up and it bounces into his face and goes in - superb.
