  • dont like his voice or really hers i wish they had a differnt phantom and christein but this is old so u never know

  • i saw it in london december 26 2009 AMAZING!!!i was lucky to be on the front row and the chandelier came right at us!!!

  • WOW. I just compared Ramin's voice in here to his in the 25th Anniversary DVD on the same song and part......They sound exactly the same. He is amazing. Wish i could have the chance to see him in action on stage in person. He's defiantly my favorite actor.

  • @BroadwayDreamchild watch the les miserables 25th anniversary!

  • I just love Ramin's evil laugh in this.

  • I went to see Phantom in London after years of dreaming about it, it honestly surpassed my expectations It was absolutely amazing....the staging was amazing!!! You have to go see it!!!!!!

  • I have seen it and it is EPIC ;D;D

  • Phantom DVD ad before the video :D

  • Epic face at 2:35

  • I really want to see this :) is it worth it?

  • @MwahhErica Completely. It's an experience everyone should have.

  • i seen it at the cinima last nigh absalouty magical

  • Looks crapy

  • Who is Christine in this? Is it Gina Beck? Cause she's one of my favorites. And Ramin is definitely my favorite Phantom of all time! <3

  • i have seen this yesterday, beautiful

  • Anyone else just LOVE the way Ramin sings "you always knew" at 0:38?

  • I'm probably not the only person who does only this portion of the video over and over again: 0:32-1:10.

  • @LilyPeters1550 No, you aren't. I often find myself replaying that over and over myself. ;)

  • saw it last night in the movie theatre...what an abdolutely fantastic mind blowing show: and what a performance by Ramin! he was insanely insane in that part

  • I will always love this musical<3

  • THE BEST MUSICAL EVER!! :D Much better than the film! :D

  • cant wait going to see it for my 16th bithday in december (17thdecmbermaintee) in row f so hopefully will be near for the chandillir moments cant wait ;)

  • @TheAllthatjazzgal I saw it for my 16th birthday too, about 4 years ago, but I saw it in Las Vegas. It was amazing!!!

  • cant believe officialrug deleted my video of official footage from 1986/1988 it wasnt bootleg footage it was proshot clips from original cast. they claim i was infringing or watever. Just because im trying to preserve history. >:(

  • ive just booked tickets to see this in february!!! soooo excited!!!

  • I am in love since December.. I came to te show in London, from France with my form.. I really do love this musical <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Is this a good show? I no everyone says his shows are good and I agree cuz I saw the wizard of oz last week and it was amazing. I am considering wether to ask to see this as a Christmas gift and would like to no how good it is :) x

  • @BeccaLovesWicked i usually hate musicals, but the phantom is an incredible piece of theatre, more like an introduction to opera, there is no tuneless singing of words that dont rhyme like other musicals, it is more about the beautiful sounds made. and it is heart wrenching, the current lead is just so powerful. the sets are incredible in a terry gilliam kind of way (look up his films) and masquerade is just sublime. go see it while you still can, and then go see it again

  • It is Gina Beck I think :)

  • Who is that girl? Whats her name?

  • @BBgirlnuk Gina Beck :) she played 'Christine' in London until September 2010.

  • Ramin is the best phantom ever!!!!! I also liked the guy who played the role of Raoul, but I dont know who he is!!! lol

  • @KatieEP102 His name is Simon Bailey, he was a fantastic Raoul :)

  • I love Ramin Karimloo!

  • He is soo hot! I would have taken him in a heartbeat!

  • 0:30 - 0:33 : one of the sole reasons I'd desperately want stalls tickets.

  • @Monkeyballmania Worth every penny.

  • Clearly Webber's finest show!! Such emotion and passion. When you watch it you feel as if you have been taken to the Phantom's Lair to then being on-stage as a Prima-Donna. The music and lyrics do so much to emphasise the lonely story of Erik and the orchestra never fail to give a perfect performance. Such a great musical response to a phanominal book! :D <3

  • @DanaHudson7 verry much have to agree

  • I like Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford WAY BETTER than these people

  • You are right, the idea that Christine could love the "monster" is ridiculous, he is a scarying killer before being an attractive musician. Gaston Leroux wrote something different and his phantom was very far from the sexy character of the film! He is like the devil in Faust: he gives you passion but can't receive!

  • Must please do explain. Okay... christine in the first movie kinda love both... Raol because it was her youth lover and gentle and all that and phantom because he was mysterious and was her angel. But in this LOVE NEVER DIES they talk has she had sex before getting married to raol. Still dont get it..she married a guy she did not love?? what happend after she went on the boat?

  • I honestly see no reason why Ramin couldn't have played the Phantom in the movie. He was young and attractive enough for it, although that's not really what the Phantom should be. Even so, he portrays the character brilliantly. Gerard Butler did a great job but Ramin would have blown everybody away. He has more singing experience than Gerard Butler could ever have, and, with past theater experience, could have played the Phantom better than Gerry did. Don't hate me for voicing my opinion!

  • Is there a CD of *these* singers available? I'm always looking for different versions of this production.

  • :33 that is the most sinister laugh i've ever heard... AND I LOVE IT!!! i would've killed to see this live! did it happen to come out on DVD?

  • @CruiseBlabber Yes, that is a *very* sinister laugh, alongside Michael Crawford's! :D

  • Eh.. this seems too pushed and robotic.. not the original passion. I like the original cast.

  • I got to see that live

  • I love the Phantom of the Oprea

  • i hve a fun fact! ramin karimloo played christines father in the 2004 phantom movie

  • phantom of the opera and love never dies are my fav musicals and they are the best and i love them! when i went to see it i was just blown off my feet and loved it very much i love you phantomloveneverdies.

  • ramin is a GOD

was that girl sierra bogges in the clip?

  • @CaitlynCarpenter555 I think it's Gina Beck.

  • @TheDreamerboy77 Ramin Karimloo. :) You're welcome.

  • I love the phantom, the man who plays it is amazing!! Wish I could sing like him.. What´s his name?

  • RAMIN KARIMLO IS INCREDABLE

  • I saw the West End version last saturday. I'm so impressed! This is one of the greatest productions i've ever seen. Speechless.

  • He's good with his singing but i think he's abit too 'pretty boyish'' for the phantom, now John Owen Jones had the best haunting look of the phantom and the acting within his singing was phenomenal

  • going to see in July can't wait

  • I want to see this show so badly, it actually hurts O_O

  • @lexnuttyninja I saw it when it came to Chicago. It was fantastic!

  • 2:39 When does Christine have the Phantom backed against a wall?

    Great voices!

  • @DeRicci in the music of the night scene

  • Looks awesome!

  • I saw Hugh Panaro on Broadway. In my opinion, he is the best Phantom next to MC. Those 2 are my favorites.

  • This video makes me sooo happy! makes me want to see it again!

  • I love this casts' voices. I saw Phantom a few days ago in New York and the Phantom was amazing, but I felt that Christine's voice didn't suit the role.

  • ramin is amazing!! Thanks for this video, excellent!!

  • I fell in love with Sofia Escobar ='(

  • @mystmoorth I saw her last night, she was just amazing wasn't she???

  • it's sad that in my country they could not bring this to us ! i wish i could go one day!

  • Just wondering, Who plays the phantom here?

  • @panicluver42 Ramin Karimloo. he's my most favoritest phantom ever! <3

  • No offense to any big MC fans, but I think Ramin's better than MC. Plus, MC's voice sounds kind of creepy to me. But then, the Phantom is kind of a creepy guy anyways. Still, I like Ramin better. Please don't kill me :)

  • @lilsisasu I'm not going to, I think they tie fir #1. I wish however i could get a cast album with ramin. and the oroiginal not LND!

  • @lilsisasu lol i am a big MC fan myself, but I like other phantoms, and this guy is pretty freakin amazing! (especially since he is so young.) his voice is more deep and a bit stronger in my opinon.

  • @lilsisasu I agree with you... but just in case *Keeps his hand at the level of his eye*

  • After seeing the film version of Phantom, I believe Gerard Butler was the best. He was perfect in the role. Chosen personally by Andrew Lloyd Weber, his screen performance will never be improved upon.

On the other hand, Ramin's rendition of 'Till I Hear You Sing Again' will never be duplicated by any other singer. It is touchingly beautiful.

  • That mask makes him look like he should be in Cats instead.

    He's ok.

  • OMG I love this Phantom and Christine!

  • i WAS THERE 5 YEARS AGO AND i WOULD, IF COULD GO BACK FOR EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCE

  • Ramin!! <3

  • THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY MUSICAL LIKE THIS. Such a Haunting Show, the music, the lyrics, the story, The CHANDELIER , the sets, costume , the effects the cast , the crew, the orchestra, EVERYTHING is simply PHANTASTIC! :D

  • @MrJORGERAMOS123 couldn't have said it better.....down to the t and dotted i....its the most perfect show ever possible to conceive.

  • Oh my gosh, I get shivers every time I hear Ramin Karimloo sing. This is the definitely the best Christine/Phantom mix I have ever heard, and that's saying a lot!

  • One thing I love about continuing the play after someone leaves another person can take their twist on the character..

  • Could you please have them come to palm springs, california, we have a few places they can put on the production of the phantom of the opera. I would love to see it.

  • @MikeMiller48 YOU ARE IN LUCK!! It's not professional, but it's the next best thing. Palm Springs High School (which has just been designated a magnet school for the performing arts) is doing Phantom in March!!! They are one of the first amateur groups in the nation to get the rights to the show. The show will feature an 80 piece live orchestra, professionally designed sets and costumes, and rediculously talented kids. It opens the fourth and runs through the twelfth. Call (760)778-0419 for tix.

  • Love Never Dies I mean

  • @razieltalos Me too. I want to see it so bad and doubt I will be able to afford to go to London to see it. When it comes to Broadway, I would it if the original London cast would come and perform on Broadway.

  • Im still waiting for them to come to Broadway

  • Does anyone here notice that because Ramin is Iranian, he has black hair as the Phantom, but otherwise the Caucasian Phantoms all have the same brown/dirty blonde wig as the Phantom?

  • when i was young my parents forced me to go with them seeing this musical...i thought "opera???wtf it will be incredibly boring" : it was one of the BEST EXPERIENCE in my life.............

i'm going to see it again next march after 7 years ^_^

  • Simply Wonderful. Still gives me chills.

  • Greatest trailer. EVER <3

    ;~;

  • Is it just me or was "All I Ask of You" sung really agressively in that clip?

  • @crazyboutladygaga Ramin is playing the Phantom.

  • Phantom will always be my fav musical. Ramin brought new life & energy into the role!! I only wish could see his 'live' performance!

  • Is this Ramin Karimloo and the rest of the cast from Love Never Dies?

  • @auto4532 ramin is the phantom in LND. but they have another christine, Sierra Boggess, in LND.

  • @malchickowik- where have u been hiding? They made the movie. Its been out....for 6 years. Emmy Rossum. Patrick Wilson. Gerard Butler. Miranda Richardson. Ring a bell? The movie just sucked...

  • Didn't like the Rauol. :/

  • I saw it past october in my trip to London and it thrilled me to the bones. Superb! I cry every time I watch to the movie with Gerard Butler and Emily Rossum, too.

  • LOV this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im going to see this in feberuary im so exited!

  • I think Ramin is a superb singer, but I think LND does not live up to it's publicity.

  • i will never get over the first time i saw ramin karimloo as phantom...

  • I saw this one in her majesty's theatre in London 2 months before. Im still in shock people....

  • my first phantom and the best ive ever seen, and ive seen 5 different phantoms

  • @holliemollieinperil Which ones have you seen? Just curious because I'm quite a Phanatic myself. I've seen the Broadway and London productions and I saw it on tour in Atlanta with family. Did you see 5 different productions or 5 different actors cast as the Phantom?

  • Wuaa, I am ready to cry!!! :'(

Why Phantom of The Opera don't come to my country?

Please come, I am in freaking love for this musical show T_T

  • @MiyankaHan Where is it that your live?

  • @titanicfinatic

Hello! I'm greeting you from Indonesia! :)

  • @MiyankaHan Well keep your hopes up because if the Phantom is still running in New York and London, there are constantly reincarnations of the show all over the world. Indonesia, wow. I have very good friends that live there.

  • Wow!! What a powefull voice from Phantom and Christine!

  • Ramin is absolutely phenomenal. I got the chance to see him while visiting London last year. So glad he's in Love Never Dies. Truly amazing!

  • i thought michael crawford was my favorite until i saw ramin karimloo!

  • @avielknot John Owen Jones is really good too!!!!

  • @avielknot same here!!!!

  • I was there, It was great.

  • spectacular <3

  • How could 56 people not like ths????

  • This is AMAZING! I wish I could actually see this D:

  • I saw this cast in the West End during my first ever trip to London in spring 2009. It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen. I couldn't have asked for a better way to enjoy my stay in London.

  • Ramin Kairmloo is amazing.. I can't wait to see him in love never dies and @elsabear99 i completly agree!

  • I think I preferred the staging in the Chicago based show, but the acting and singing talent is superior in the London show.

  • who is the phantom of the opera?

  • @btomimatsucunard Erik. Lol

  • @btomimatsucunard Ramin Karimloo

  • @elsabear99 I would kill for a DVD of Peter Karrie playing Phantom. I'm completely serious. XD

  • @christinelandis i thought ramin is the phantom in this trailer? or is he raoul?

  • Ramin KAirloo is so talented, Sarah Brightman is talented, everyone who does this production is so very talented. I am so excited to audition for this after college. :D

  • @iamalighthouse1 thats not Sarah Brightman

and Love Never Dies is horrible, it's an insult to be called a sequel to the Phantom Of The Opera

congrats on your chance to audition though :)

  • ...i could do that!

  • ramin sounds great!!! one of most favorite broadway singers ever!

  • Saw the Phantom of the Opera on Saturday night at Her Majesty's Theatre - London. Much anticipated... after listening to all the cd's etc. IT WAS FANTASTIC, I cried, laughed and cried some more. The atmosphere was electric and the performances were faultless. A standing ovation was the only way to end a show like that... What an amazing 40th birthday gift from much loved friends :o)

  • That is one fabulous Fedora that the Phantom is wearing.........I want it!

  • I love Ramin's laugh at :33

  • i went 2 see this show during the summer and it was amasing i loved it and i would love to see it again! i would recommend it to anyone! :D

  • Saw it last weekend and fell in love with it!

  • I'm so happy Ramin is the youngest phantom! That means he might stay in the rol LONGER, and I might be able to see him later in life! :)

  • @PinkCarnationProDux do you know who was the phantom in 2008?, i went to see the play at her majesty;s theatre and never found out who the phantom was!

  • If i can comment only once...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont close the tour!!!! its a fantastic show! and i like it when it comes to my state! it;s my joy and my life to see this show!

and this video says everything that is wonderful about the show and why i am so very obessed! SO PLEASE keep the Fans sane Keep the US tour open!!

    thanks RUG!

  • Ramin is the best Raoul and Phantom ;D

  • Gina Beck just finished her run as Christine! Sadface :( Gonna miss her, she was amazing.

  • will ther ever be a stage recording for the phantom of the opera?

  • @wingman259

I hope there will be one!

  • Esto es musica, no Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga o toda esa musica comercial que no tiene mas contenido que sexo y alcohol

  • The Phantom of the Opera is there inside MY mind <3

  • that was a really good trailer! well put together!

  • How can anyone give this a thumbs down???

  • I so want to see the musical, I haven't yet (EVER!), I might in a year though when my fam goes to NYC.

  • I saw that musical in London 22 sep 2009.!;) that was totally awesome super incredible ;D

  • 56 uncultured morons disliked this video

  • wahoooo this is now available for high schools to do :D although... idk how high schoolers could pull this off

  • @Jazabella333 I personally believe there are several musicals that should just not be put on by schools, and one of them is Phantom, another is Wicked, just to name two

  • OMG I THINK this is Ramin Karimloo!!! I love him!! The girl I can't identify

  • @laurendaaephantom The girl playing Christine is Gina Beck :)

  • Wow, amazing, I LOVE IT!

  • *.* fantastic!!

  • i love this and the book ^^

  • When the Chandelier falls in this trailer, is that in Her Majestys Theatre or another?

I saw it last Saturday (August 7th 2010) and I didn't get a program that had the cast in it and was wondering is this the cast that I saw?

I think Christine was Gina Beck..

  • @JonnoJonnerz I saw it a couple of weeks ago too. It's only ever been in Her Majesty's Theatre in London - ever since it opened years and years ago! And I am positive that the Christine and Raoul in this trailer are the same actors as int he production I saw. I dunno about the Phantom tho - but wasn't the one in the show AMAZING!! SUCH a voice!! In the production I saw he got a standing ovation that went on for ages! ^_^

  • i saw this cast this summer, it was the most incredible musical i've ever seen. If i ever go back to london i will definitly go back and see it again.

  • Ramin Karimloo and Gina Beck! :O The biggest win ever.

  • Truly is, London's most haunting love story.

  • wouldn't it be amazing if they remade the movie in the stye of this preview. this is how phantom of the opera is supposed to look and sound.

  • Hoje na @CASSAROLAqToka do #ChefPaulinho, Tá rolando -

  • I really wish there was a DVD recording, this trailer was such high quality - I'm sure they could do it beautifully. It would probably sell better than the film too. Ramin Karimloo is perfect and I would love to treasure his performance as the Phantom., because unfortunately my memory just isn't good enough.

I LOVE him leaning out to Christine from the portcullis, and trying to grab her as she turns away.... adore it XD

  • They really should do a DVD recording of the show like they did for Cats and a version of Les Miserables.

  • @ChildOfTheWilderness I wish there was a way to make them to that!

  • @ChildOfTheWilderness that would be awesome I bet they will when Phantom gets old and out of excistance! The Really Useful Group did it with Cats,Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar i guarantee that they'll do it with the stage version of Phantom:]

  • @phantomhippie LOL...but phantom will NEVER get old;p The shows are still packed on Broadway and it is probably one of the most well known productions out there. I mean, Cats, etc. are well known, but everyone knows phantom while only most know Cats, etc...;p

  • @ChildOfTheWilderness look at what happened to cats though....I think if they make a video not as many people will go see the play equals no more play equals less money equals just one show the real play lol

  • @malchickowik Cats ran for 21 years, it was hardly a failure. Now that it's over it can still be enjoyed on DVD

  • @ChildOfTheWilderness They did it ( as i heard ) for the Musical at Her Majesty's in London, they sell it during the pause between the 2parts of the show ( i'm sorry if they're mistakes, i'm french.. )

  • @WolFForever45 REALLY!? IF THAT IS TRUE I HAVE TO GO TO LONDON!!!!!!!

  • @TheTitanic4

go,it's something anyone should see once in a lifetime

  • @ChildOfTheWilderness i know right
