  • I like how they pronounce "special session" as "spayshel sayshen." What accent is that exactly? Like people who say "warshed" instead of "washed." Or "traysure" instead of "treasure." Or "Obama" instead of "Newt." Wait....

  • Anyone notice how that gang emblem looks "suspiciously" like the British Union of Fascists' symbol? Which means, on top of being punk idiots they're Nazi wannabes too.

  • 4:19 "I give you Cheetah Chrome."

  • Call me crazy but this was kind of an interesting story haha.

  • @lackofattack

Holy crap I think he is ripping a bong.

  • 3:37 This is b4 there were maximum occupancy signs. & we had 2 w8 till some morons let a deadly stampede take place for such a law to be enacted.

  • Was that an early GET TO DA CHOPPA at 3:06?

  • For a social instruction video, this was pretty exciting.

  • What's the rush? There's gonna be 3 hours of zoning stuff first.

  • Oh no. Not "the troublemaker" again! (Even though I discovered him on a "Fun with Shorts" video, not MST3K.

  • "It's my turf NOW!" XD That's definitely one of the most hilarious things I've ever heard.

  • @lackofattack No, he's reading the guy's paper.

  • 0:55 All this over one guy!? Arizona has a little girl on a bike run over at least once a year, and the speed limits have actually RISEN.

  • That's a pretty dramatic, 270-degree stage turn at 0:30 !

  • @DrThunder88 He's the father af male-modelling sensation, Derek Zoolander.

  • So...was this the Bloods or the crips?

  • Woah banana peel!

  • Some of that music was used in the first season of "The Adventures of Superman".

Man, I AM old if I can remember it! ;)

  • Hank Hill went to this high school.

  • that kid did good, just confrunting the closit homosexuals that wouldd have just jumped him like a bunch of pussies. not actually fighting him

  • Greacers rule!

  • The youth are allcommie delinquents.

  • Why do they care if he goes to the meeting or not?

  • Good Luck in solving the gang problem in a similar manner nowadays...

  • @TimelordR You took the words right out of my mouth...that city council wouldn't have a leg to stand on if they were confronted by gang members and jd's in this era.

  • That kid said, "I wouldn't advise any of you to go that meeting if I were you."

....?? So he wouldn't advise himself to go to the meeting?

  • 4:36 is that guy talking andy griffith??

  • I love how stark and dramatic the plot of this short is. It's like a teenage version of "On the Waterfront", with the gang in place of the corrupt labor union.

Except, of course, "On the Waterfront" was a masterpiece, and this is one of the most unintentionally hilarious educational shorts around.

  • KILL EM ALL!

  • I used to think that all teenagers were delinquents.

    Then I saw this film.

And realized that it's not the teenagers who delinquents. It's the people who made educational films like this one who were.

  • Tunnel Snakes rule

  • Elliot Ness and his untouchables were in hot pursuit!

  • That city council is very easily discouraged.

  • "This is 100 % pure democracy." The most dramatic votingscene ever.

  • In the 1950's, was it impossible to cast actual teenagers for these kind of roles instead of 30-year-olds?

  • @Trancemaster2052

Good point I think even in Rebels Without a Cause they were all older than their characters were supposed to be. I know West Side Story they were.

  • 5:37 - 5:44 lmfao hahah

  • Love the Bowie at the end!

  • "It''s the, eye of the ti-Oh boy."

  • 2:31-2:43 Princess Leia. LOLZ @ 2:54 "Woah, banana peel!". "What would you say?" (in whiny voice)

  • LOL! what is Crow doing at 4:44? is he whispering into that guys ear or nibbling it?

  • at :13 it sounds like he has coins or something in his shoes.

  • 1:30 oh my godness

  • "I say lets put them to the spanking machine!"

  • 5:57

Young American, young American, he was a young American...Aaaalllll night

    lmao

  • woah! banana peel!

  • Was the chase scene really necessary?!

    LOL XD

  • "I think they're still talking about zoning stuff!"

  • Damn 40 year old teenagers!

  • Did they really get 35 or 40 year olds to play High-School teenagers back than?! How Funny!!! LOL!!!

  • i think they may have gotten some older kids to play teens, but for the most part ppl just looked older then. like on Twilight zone...they will show a man that looks late 50's and balding and Rod Serling will narrate "this is bob jones, age 33 from baltimore..." blah blah. i dont know what it was then. maybe the hats everyone wore all the time aged them. lol.

  • They were probably in their early or mid 20's but people back did tend to look older then people of a similar age today. Even as late as the 70's this was the case. Archie Bunker was only supposed to be about 50 (the age that Carrol O'Connor was at the time) when All in the Family first began, but he looked more like he was in mid 60's.

  • Why is crow facing the wrong way?

  • What would you do to prevent forest fires?

  • "to the helicopter!!"

  • This is my turf now!"

  • What's sad is, there's been like thirty kids killed in the Chicago area from shooting, beatings, what have you, and they're probably still able to drive wherever they like.

  • damn 40 yr old teenagers!!

  • 'We're just wasting time here!'

    'Kill 'em all!'

  • Damn teenagers!

  • lets put em to the spanking machine! Lol

  • This is 100% pure democracy!

    KILL EM' ALL!

  • ITS COBRA KAI!!!

  • you're not moving the stuff very well!

  • I crack up every time I hear them break out in song at the end.

  • 1:05 if he hadn't been worrying about curfews and parties, he might have gotten out of high school before 36.

  • Oh No! Not pencils! Anything but pencils!!!

  • Life is hard when your 27 years old and still in high school!

  • to the helicopter!

  • GET TO THE CHOPPA!

  • they look pretty old for high schoolers.

  • Kill them all!

  • They should have made a crack or two about running into a car while they were backing up at around the 3:02 mark or so.

  • You boys haven't been moving the stuff very well! lol

  • Geez, pencil stealing was out of control in the 1950s.

  • put them to the spanking machine!!!!!!!

  • (singing) "torn between two peer groups."

    Crow: Awk-WARD!

    "Meanwhile back at the convent."

    "I'm too noodly."

"I say let's put em through the spanking machine!"

  • Crow at 3:47 would make my dad laugh for ages. MST3K is the only thing that could make my family stop fighting and start laughing.

  • "This is my turf now!"

  • Can a city council up the age of a driver's license?

  • "Say-shun?" 8-)

  • Kill 'em all!

    I'm too noodly.

  • i think they're still talkin' about zoning stuff...

  • "GO TO THE HELICOPTER!!

    THE HELICOPTER!!"

    brill!

  • damn greasers...

  • "It's the, eye of the tig- oh boy..."

    ahhahhhahaha

  • Footloose: The Prequel...

  • It totally is!

  • those are some old teenagers.

  • A curfew, a higher driving age, the cancellation of all teenage activities -- because of a stolen pencil?

  • That, and the man who was savagely beaten by the delinquents the night before. Plus, I think the football jock guy mentioned that delinquency- related incidents (Vandalism, etc., undoubetdly the work of the evil leather jacket gang) were greatly on the rise in the community, I think the attack on Jamie's dad was supposed to have been the last straw that led to all those regulations being pushed.

  • I think all that stuff may add to the point, but let's be serious - a man's PENCIL was stolen!!! Where do we draw the line?!

  • And how do we draw that line if we can't trust in the safety of our pencils?

  • I've locked all my pencils in a vault, which I put in a bigger vault, and threw into the ocean.

  • Don't lull yourself into a false sense of security! Those punks are organized! They hit a SCUBA gear joint not two weeks ago! They're everywhere, I tell ya!

  • Don't forget "the witches!" :-D

  • Wow. A Tony Bouza reference. That's REEEEALLY obscure if you live outside of Minnesota. (He was a Minneapolis police chief who ran for governor in the 90's.)

  • Kind of reminds me of Oar Folk at Junk Opus.

  • I love the really obscure references. Makes the show all that more charming.

  • "woah bannana peel"

"get to the helicopter, the helicopter"

    "this is 100% pure democracy"

  • "You boys haven't been movin' the stuff very well!"

You gotta love how the delinquents act all tough and hardcore around the other teens, yet are scared into silence by a little old lady teacher! Maybe she made an example out of one of them in the past!

"I think these students are right, too!"

That's weird, since none of the students had really said anything of significance up to that point.

  • Yeah - they just kind of barged in and yelled "You're not being fair!" without waiting to be fairly acknowledged or anything. It is a community meeting - you need rules. Without rules, teens can get rather --- well, delinquent.

  • "Young Ameri- Young Ameri- He was a young American BOOOOOOOY!!!!!!"

XDDDD LMAO YES! David Bowie ref C:

  • its the eye of the ti...oh boy

    LOL XD

  • 1:28. Mike bawls like a newborn :D lol

  • LOL River City! BARF!

  • In real life the captain of the football team is usually the one doing most of the uh deliquenting.

  • Is it just me or did the good guys have a 10 second head start at the start of the chase, and when they got to the meeting it was gone?

  • They went the speed limit. The dopes.

  • @dfirest1 "These lawless punks drive superb muscle cars! I say we need a regulation to up the horsepower and down the gas mileage in all vehicles used in the city! That'll give us an edge!"

  • Servo: Tell you what, you can beat up my dad

  • Uh...thanks...?

    O_O

  • I love how many things went wrong in the "chase" scene.

  • "Get to the helicopter! THE HELICOPTER!"
