Thank you for posting. I am going to guess Benny Goodman on Clarinet and Teddy Wilson on piano. John Hammond who was a record producer for Goodman got Billie some recording deals at this time (probably 1936 I think).
She brings it home even with an arrangement perhaps not suited t her strengths.... she was a true artist. That voice has so many feelings embedded in it... always something new to hear when listening again to the same recording.
@jimaroo100 The clarinettist was a member of Goodman's band at the time; it is Vido Musso whose main instrument was tenor saxophone. The trumpeter is Irving 'Mouse' Randolph and Ben Webster can be heard behind the vocal. This is a different version from the one I have on an old CBS double LP.
