It is actually on ps3, and plays quite ok.

The review is quite ok for having only played three hours, but next time i recommend to play through the entire game before the review. For example loading screen is mainly an issue in the first two campaigns. Items are unbalanced, some being overpowered. I don't know if I am alone with this, but I only use 3 out of 7 units for every race. Strongest core unit plus the two strongest elite units using up two squares (combined with items buffing them).

aww, puzzle game instead of first person adventure as the original m&m....i would have preferred if they had done that to arcomage. but i suppose the expansive non-linear world and polished combat system that i loved earlier in life shall never return...

i played the demo & loved it, can't wait to buy it when i'm able to... was a big fan of puzzle quest, and have always liked SRPG's, and love throwbacks to 16/32 bit 2D handdrawn stuff. this kind of game seems like it's targeted directly at me.

Hey guys, I'm about to buy this, and I'm curious if there are certain classes/creatures that people prefer to level up and some that people think you shouldn't even bother putting in your party?

@ThisSubtleDagger It's pretty much up to you and your play style. Each class has its own pros and cons and which ones you choose to play really depends on how you want to play. You can't really underlevel yourself in this game, and if you really want to grind, you'll be able to find some random encounters. Don't worry too much about what to play. It's all about your strategy.

This game is freaking incredible, I played it to death on the NDS, and waited soooo long for the HD version. The gameplay is so strategic and addicting. Online multiplayer how now made this game my favorite puzzle game of all time. Check it out!

It has RPG elements, but they are automated in the campaign (no stat points). You also can choose 1 item to take into battle. Multiplayer, everything is at max level, so you have all the health and increased attack and defense stats. Other than that, it is really just a tactical puzzle battle, where I use puzzle lightly because you are not solving anything besides how to optimize blocking and attacking units.

It really is a gorgeous game. I just picked it up for XBLA this evening. I wish more titles would do high-quality 2D art instead of focusing so much on 3D polygons. I have to say that puzzle combat seems like kind of an odd fit for a M&M game, but it really does become addictive.

Now I'm just hoping they'll port it to iOS.
