You got to Check out PAYTHATWAY. Works with any phone and is way more secure than Square

@MobileMoneySystem even though bluetooth is shooting the same information through the air twice.. bluetooth can be sniffed and cracked just as easy as the data connection. I'd rather use the square system because that means I'm only sending my data once. VS. a bluetooth dongle that has to create a connection to the phone, send that data to the phone and then the phone sends the data to their servers... There's just more risk to it for me.

@1stghostshadow PAYTHATWAY has a hardware device that encrypts the cc data on the swipe, then uses the voice channel and not the data connection. The bluetooth is just an extra layer, as is the voice channel. They just add extra layers of encryption. The square device just sends a unencrypted sound into the phone. It is easy to write a fake app that records the info. see sq-skim.com. A customer has no way of knowing if their card information was compromised.

@MandrakeCigars they don't consider them PCI compliant. Visa invested a little bit in the company with the understanding they would address the security concerns. So far they still have not done anything to protect the card data. I believe Square would need to add a battery to the device to make that happen.

Jared , after attempting to access your ' guide to motion photography ' after I subscribed the email order on your website's home page , my google account was disabled due to terms of service . As in I violated a term ( s ) . That email account is what I had nearly everything on and I am curious as to why it did that .
