idk what to think. hmmm i didn see very much cordination between the shred and the musical style being presented for the individual. it sounded lika a bunch of random notes for the most part. even though i tend to like mettal and im a shredder myself, i feel that that last kid associated his shred with the rest of the music. but theyre all talented as hell

i really liked the second and the last guys. the second guy really tore it up for real, but the last guy sounded to me like a dual SRV-Van Halen influenced style and i really like how it came together.

I think the last kid, Chris definitely had the best style - no doubt. He finished second at the competition.  Check out the video of him and the kid that won going at it. It's good. It's under the name "dual guitar off part 1".

I agree with you....chris g. (that's g, not j, btw) should have won. he's incredible!!! Oh well. I would love to see video from the finals with chris and payden. That was good stuff. After the shred off paul green asked chris to be in the school of rock all-star band. so, in a way he won.

no doubt, those all stars are amazing. no, I'm not in a school of rock. I have no musical talent...dammit! there were others that were really good, even some that should have made it to the second round but didn't (audience applause, not a great judging method). anyway, chris g. totally won me over. he's a natural.
