You know, I enjoyed the twilight saga, but not becouse it was so very well writen. As a girl I just might be more inclined to be drawn to obsessive love stories. I also enjoyed Wuthering Hights. But that's besides the point I was going to make. Twilight is NOT wel written, in my opinion. There's only so many times you can read the words; chagrin and irrevocably, without wanting to hurt someone. And also, Edwards face must be laced with botox, as Bella has to read everything in his eyes.

Sure, there are a lot of people who don't like it, but Stephenie Meyer made a very good move by making the books so easy to read, and with characters that anyone can imagine themselves as. Btw, I don't think you can "avada kedavra" a "twilight-vampire" because they say that many spells doesn't work when the skin is too strong (for example a dragon) and you need many spells at the same time. But twilightvampires skin is VERY strong, so you would probably need like 100 avadra kedavra at the same time, but im not sure that would work either. What does avada kedavra do? Stop the heart?

There's lots of great fiction for people of all ages that was written before Harry Potter and even some since DH was published. I love Discworld and LOTRs and the Chronicles of Narnia and the Earthsea books, The Belgariad, The Riddle-Master trilogy, The Chronicles of Prydain, and the Pern novels, all of which predate The Boy Who Lived and are only the tip of the iceberg of all the great stories there are out there to read.
