Sometimes, when you hear Tommy speak - you kind of realize that the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Of course, he's actually built something and achieved something in his life, through hard work. Too bad Ally doesn't seem to have any of that in her - suggesting a jeanswear line without a label? Her father is all about plastering his name and label on everything he does!
Jamie thinks she has to "make a statment" to that guy she is hung up on - pathetic. No you don't - move on dimwit.
I agree with what everyone is saying about the editing. If you watch the episode where they go to Seattle to visit Jaime's aunt, they edit what her aunt is saying to just make it sound like she's saying the same thing over and over (when they were in the store).
Ally, using words like, "fashiony," is quite capable of making herself look stupid without any help from MTV's editors.
If she were smart she would have listened, took notes and observed, on her first day instead of dominating the meeting the way that she did then presented her ideas, after she had planned them out, in a formal presentation..
No but it's true though, if you watch reality shows on MTV/E you will notice that a lot of the time they edit everything in order to make people look stupid, sometimes when someone repeats something once they double it so it sounds like the person is literally saying 'What? What? What?' 5 times. All those blank looks on the designers' faces probably weren't a reaction to what Ally was saying, but merely their listening faces, edited to look like a diss towards Ally.
I don't really watch reality shows, because of the editing. I agree with you that the other's reaction were likely totally unrelated to what was bing said, but, "fasiony"? C'mon!

Tommy is a lucky man to have such a great daughter to be so creative and stylish to add to his own smooth ass flavor.
