Wow, nice to see on YouTube! Get Crazy was by Allan Arkush, the director of Rock and Roll High School and it's similar. A takeoff of big charity concerts with all the groups resembling real groups or genres. Lou Reed is a Dylanesque recluse, either Flo or Eddie is a 60s guru type, John Densmore is the crazed drummer for Malcolm McDowell. Lee Ving from Fear. An old blues singer (one of the running jokes is that everyone covers one of his songs). I still quote this film - "Call me...Cool"
This is a freaking awesome cult movie called Get Crazy. It was directed by Alan Arkush, who made Rock N Roll High School. After the initial distribution in the '80s, it got midnight slots at the theaters.

Lol! ! ! I love this clip, but I'm a little disappointed with the movie...
But, someone who saw it has noticed Robert Picardo, and Malcolm McDowell in the cast??

would love to see the nada performance from this film.
If I recall correctly it was chock-a-block with 80's new wave cool.
