@BigRedChester Nah. I've met people who seemed to only be atheists for the sake of being rebellious. And, of course, you can grow up without religion (just like you can grow up with it) and thus be an atheist, without necessarily ever being educated.
That said, you're right that there's probably higher *rates* of educated-ness among atheists. Partly because one helps cause the other, and partly because they're both associated with high socioeconomic class.

Bill Gates is an America and a person immersed in a primarily judeo-Christian surrounding and culture. personally, i remember the old adage my first sergeant told me.....there are no athiests in foxholes! If only the smartest athiests would get together, be liberal..ahem...and decide how much of TOTAL knowledge they possess, then realize that OUTSIDE their realm of knowledge it is possible that a god exists, they'd realize they were truly agnostic....then we could have a true debate. To deny the existence of a supreme being and believe only in what you can quantify denies what you can qualify.

@BigRedChester Nah. I've met people who seemed to only be atheists for the sake of being rebellious. And, of course, you can grow up without religion (just like you can grow up with it) and thus be an atheist, without necessarily ever being educated.
That said, you're right that there's probably higher *rates* of educated-ness among atheists. Partly because one helps cause the other, and partly because they're both associated with high socioeconomic class.

Race is just just a matter of skin pigmentation. No matter what "race" you are, we are all the same species- Homo sapien aka human. As such, all men/women are created equal.
DNA research has shown that, whether some people like it or not, we (humans) are over 98% genetically related to the chimpanzee.

Must be. It only takes a few chromosomes (less that a percentage of a percentage) difference in DNA to cause Down's Syndrome and other birth defects in humans.
A 2% difference would cause enough genetic difference to explain why we don't more closely resemble chimps.

The simple fact that tyrannosauruses and hominids did not exist in the same epoch nullifies any contrast made between the fitness of the species. The two species did not compete and therefore cannot be juxtaposed in the way that you've done. In any case, the best measure of "who's more evolved" is one that takes into account the amount of derived characteristics a species has.

The process of evolution has reduced the # of T-Rex's to 0 (extinct) and increased the # of humans to > 0. In this sense, the humans are evolved and T-Rex's are extinct. The only way to meaning fully compare to co-existing species is to introduce an environment. Humans are genetically better in a year-round sub zero environment (say Antartica). And coackroaches are more evolved for a nuclear fallout environment. While both avoid extinction in an urban environment.

They'd have no trouble surviving in a subzero environment because, well, some of them thrived in them. While human technology is a product of evolution and as such can be considered fair when comparing the two species, keep in mind that dinosaurs are far more adaptable even without any artificial aids. Also, humans wouldn't have survived the mass extinction either.
