  • question.

im new to paint ball and i want to know if your able to change the front grip thing to a vietnam m16 look??

  • @22Swedishpride no worries - I believe it was mentioned in the video that it has a M16 shroud, or front grip as you put it :D

    -Russell

  • what is the top 3 upgrades u can do on this marker?

  • @sladslype Definitely a new barrel. Huge fan of the Pathogen 2. That barrel has never let me down! Next would be a Cyclone Feeder and for the third upgrade go with the E-Grip. You'll get some other firing modes with that so it adds to the experience no doubt. -Russell

  • I type in jt tactical and this pops up so i think its same internals turns out its not and my paintball dont fire.

  • k thanks cuz some of the haters think thats its not for speedball so thanks

  • is it weird to use an alpha black for speedball

  • @Gusbrown02 That's the beauty of paintball, use whatever you want :) I use a pump on the speedball field nowadays. Use what feels right to you. -Russell

  • 1 Question is This Fully Automatic? Sorry for the newbiw question im new to the game.

  • @chegui96 The stock Alpha Black is not fully automatic but it can be if an E-Grip is installed. -Russell

  • would you suggest a co2 tank or compressed air ??

  • @przchino787 HPA is always the better choice. It is regulated, and doesn't destroy seals. The only exception to this rule is extremely old markers that require liquid C02 to function properly.

  • I have some questions answer me please xD:

    1-Its aplha black electric?

2- I can recharge electric paintball batteries or i have to buy them?

3- where can i buy alpha black on Yuma Arizona?

4-How much cost aproximately Alpha Black with powerpack?

(sorry if i have bad grammar)

  • @609goku 1. There is an E-Grip version of the Alpha Black and an upgrade as well. 2. Batteries have to be rechargeable and do not need to be paintball specific. 3. We ship everywhere we can :) 4. Check out the links in the description.

  • Can anyone tell me what it is made of?

  • @thekittywaper I have one most of it is Metal clip and butt stock is plastic.

  • @thekittywaper Yes, the body is full metal construction, and the magazine is a durable plastic material. It has a full year warranty as well :) -Ethan

  • Ohh yea doesnt jam i had mine for a year hasnt jammed yet thank god

  • It is a awsome gun accurate and you have to buy a hopper for it so you can put the paint in

  • does it jam , is it accurate && how would i put the paint in the mag

  • @przchino787 Very nice gun get it. You wont be disappointed.

It's a lil heavey but not too much

  • Comment removed

  • Is there any reason to buy a Tippmann 98 over this gun? I'm leaning towards this one, but just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Also, does that fake ammo clip get loose over time? It looks like it's not secured by much more than friction.

  • @objectivistgamer The Alpha Black will not be able to fit a response trigger, double trigger or weaver rails without modification. -Jay

  • @HustlePaintball Ah ok. Well if that's the only major difference, I'll take the integrated sights of this one over that, as I probably won't be modding it much anyway (only a casual player at this point). Thanks for the info.

  • Can you tell me how to increase my velocity/fps ?

  • @TheRipperjokers The velocity screw is on the left side just above the US Army star logo. Turning it clockwise will decrease velocity/counter-clockwise to increase.

  • @HustlePaintball how's the weight on this thing?

  • @TheWolferParty It is just under 5 pounds without paint or a tank. Very manageable and balanced.

  • @HustlePaintball hey can u tell me how to tun the psi up?

  • @LYFLTD By PSI do you mean the velocity or FPS?

  • @HustlePaintball thanks, i ended up getting an a-5 today :D

  • @HustlePaintball thanks, i ended up getting an a-5 today :D

  • What kind of Mods can you add to this gun? Specifically a double finger trigger?

  • @willfath You can add TONS of items to this gun, but unfortunately, not a double trigger. You can upgrade w/ an E-Grip, Cyclone Feed System, upgraded barrel, red dot, various weaver rails, additional stocks, vertical foregrips. Check out the "Ultimate Upgrade Kit" on our website - that is pretty sweet. I'd also recommend the Pathogen 2 barrel on our website - Ethan

  • saving up for this gun now cant wait

  • @xxXcodnerdXxx It'll be worth the wait, man - this gun is great bang for your buck! -Ethan

  • Apparently, according to the techs at the closest armynavy store where i bought this gun, mine was like the most defective gun ever because no matter what parts they replaced, they couldn't fix it. It had the E-trigger, and they even replaced the board, but it still skipped when i fired it causing balls to chop. Has this ever been reported to you guys before?

  • @abalrog42 Sounds like they either didn't remove the trigger slider, or they didn't replace the sear/rear bolt at the same time. Tippmann has a killer warranty on their guns, so you should have been completely taken care of. Call us if you need help getting your gun fixed! 877/298-8188 -Ethan

  • how come my feed neck doesn't clamp shut like hte one in the video? its like loose and doesn't lock, help???

  • @cloud28740 Are you missing the bolt and nut that lets you clamp the feedneck shut? Email us a picture so we can check it out! -Ethan

  • And size of the gun, which is bigger or heaviest???

  • @antrikkosolan They are physically the same size, and there is very little weight difference (for instance, it would be like loading 20-30 less paintballs in your hopper to achieve a lighter gun) - it will not affect your play at all - Ethan

  • what's the difference between Alpha Black and BT Omega?

  • @antrikkosolan Very little, quite honestly. The Alpha Black is backed by Tippmann's warranty, and the BT Omega is backed by Empire's warranty. The BT Omega has a removeable carry handle and looks a bit different - performance-wise, they are essentially the same. Get whichever one you like the looks of better! -Ethan

  • @antrikkosolan The difference is that the Omega is a BT-4 with some M4 parts on it and is made by Empire BT. The Alpha Black had it's own design but is essentially a Tippmann 98 on the inside. It is made by Tippmann and has a bulletproof 1 year warranty from them. Both are of similar size and weight.

  • WHAT GUN IS BETTER OMEGA OR THIS ONE ?

  • @XxRISINGTERORxX This one is backed up by the best warranty in the game, so when in doubt, go Tippmann. -Jay

  • I have a question my scope interests with my hopper how do I fix that without getting a new scope or a cyclone?

  • how many joules is this gun ?

  • @TheMakaveli1080 I could so the mathematics and tell you, but this information usually isn't relevant. What is the specific reason you want to know how many joules it is?

  • is this a decent begginers gun? or for more advanced players?

  • @OBEYthySOLE It is one of the best markers for beginners out there!

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • how do u cock and uncock this gun?

  • @Madwheels10 On the left side there is a knob you pull to cock the marker. To un-cock it make sure there is no air in the marker and pull the trigger.

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • Can u remove the shrued without taking the gun apart

  • @skateboardtillyoudie Yes you can, you justneed to remove the lower forward most receiver screw and it will slide right out.

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • Hi, last time I took apart my gun I believe something fell out so now when I cock my gun, it stay cocked even when I fire, whats wrong or whats missing? I can email you a pic if that would help. Thanks.

  • @Joshysquash81 Yes a pic would be greatly appreciated, that way I can actually pin point what is missing.

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • @HustlePaintball O thanks a lot, I will send an email with the picture attached.

  • can you please make a video of how to put on the co2 tank on

  • @compean20 dont use a co2 tank...use hpa, co2 will ruin your gun. it will destroy your orings and make cleaning harder and needed more often

  • @compean20 screw it into the back. there is a threaded hole, cant miss it

  • whats a good barrel for the alpha black Tactical

  • @SuperPeewee99 CP Barrels, Lapco barrels, and our personal favorite, the Pathogen 2. Check them all out on our website!

  • doe a gravity hopper work on this gun?

  • @ponteacampata This works great with a gravity hopper. Our favorite is the Proto Primo :)

  • @SuperPeewee99 Check out our video for the NCStar MARS. A super easy install and a great rail.

  • What is a good gun for beginners

  • @Xxitzdoltishbigfoot We hear this all the time. Honestly get a Tippmann that you like, then play with it a few times and see what you want it to be; faster, more accurate whatever it is you can build it up.

  • What is the name of the top thing on the alpha black im trying to customize my x7 phenom and i need to know plz plz plz

  • @CelticsPaintball Do you mean the carry handle? Sorry, I'm just not sure what you mean by "top thing".

  • @CelticsPaintball I believe you are referring to the carry handle. There are M4/M16 style handles for the Phenom.

  • should i get the alpha black or us army project salvo?

  • @ponteacampata They are identical in terms of performance, it all comes down to looks :)

  • im thinking about buying this paintballl gun and i want to know how to add a verical hand grip how would i do that and i want it on the handgaurd not where the clip is plese answer

  • @hosam95511 Get a metal stick, paint it black, make it look good on your gun, get some gorila/super glue, and get that thing on there. I really dont know, i wuld like one too, but this is my best guess... lol

  • @hosam95511 Check out the NCStar MARSH, it is a rail and foregrip combo that is designed for the Alpha Black style shroud.

  • will a 16inch all american cocker thread barrel fit on this paintball gun ?

  • @HighVoltageWeed This marker takes a 98/US Army Threaded barrel. An Autococker threaded barrel will need a barrel adapter to fit this marker.

  • I have a Tippmann Alpha black, i have it scoped and a bipod mounted, but this is pointless without a accurate marker.Do you have a any recommendations for a longer more accurate barrel?

  • @18tippmann Any barrel longer than 14 inches will not offer any accuracy or length benefit but will take more air for every shot. We really like the Lapco and Pathogen 2 barrels as both are very accurate, have great bores and are good looking as well.

  • I'm getting this gun but I was wondering, I want to spray paint it Gold. If I do, will it break the gun? Lower the performance?

  • @Cronizone Painting the marker will not harm performance, just make sure you do not paint any unpainted surfaces.

  • i am looking for a new gun. ive decided to get either this gun or the Tippmann US Army Carver One, but it needs to take compressed air, if i get this gun do i need to get a new tank or will the tank it comes with take compressed air?

  • @paintball8333 That depends on the package you purchase, the marker itself does not come with a tank in the packaging.

  • can this gun use tippman 98c barrels

  • @njp3250 Yes, this has the same 98 style threads.

  • Hey guys, do you think this gun is good for a beginner paintballer, if not do you have any suggestions for a good starting gun, thanks!

  • @MrDaniel13579 y

ea its a nice gun but a little hevy. good accuracy. one of the best to get.

  • @MrDaniel13579 The Alpha Black is a great marker that is based on the model 98. A great deal on a great looking marker that has tons of available mods and upgrades. A great marker for a beginner.

  • does the magazine actually hold paintballs?

  • @RamonN00dles Not in the Alpha Black, though TACAMO did release a conversion kit for Tippmann markers to turn them into mag-fed markers.

  • is this marker better, worse, or equal to the 98. custom performance wise?

  • @dsreapzz68 Internally they are almost identical. Performance will be near identical other than the weight and overall feel.

  • Does this marker have select fire? A webisite I saw said it did.

  • @Rchamb21 You can opt for the E-Grip model or upgrade to the E-Grip at a later time.

  • @HustlePaintball Oh, so thats what that is. Thanks!

  • is the bt omega better? or not

  • @rdidy101 It is on the same level. It is a little easier to customize as you can remove the carry handle, and it's newest iteration is actually e-grip compatible. Either or is going to be a fantastic choice!

  • how does a semi auto marker work.

  • @TheVshevchyk When you pull the trigger, it will fire. A semi-automatic marker means you only have to cock it once, it will re-cock itself every time you fire the marker after that.

  • is this gun plastic?

  • @Cuntara There are some plastic parts like the magazine and trigger and some composite parts (shroud, stock) but the main body is aluminum.

  • I replaced the sear spring because I lost it... It was a slightly bigger spring. Maybe 1-2 cm larger. Would it mess up the recocking at all?

  • @xXhunter47Xx You may end up with a stiffer trigger that requires more effort to break the sear from the bolt but the larger spring should not be a huge detriment to the function.

  • @HustlePaintball Thank you, I use an E-grip anyways. The e-grip can press it. Again, thanks for the fast reply.

  • Does any body know if every alpha black comes with the clamping feed neck, the one in this video

  • @MetallicaMK1 Yes, all of the feednecks are the same style.

  • If i buy a Basic model, later i can upgrade for Tactical ? Or the basic model dont allow you to use tactical mods?

  • @EduardoDornel The Alpha Black Basic has not been produced for quite some time but there are upgrade kits available.

  • Hey, I'm looking to get a new paintball gun. I used to own a Tippmann 98 custom and loved it, and I am very interested in the Army line that they have introduced. I am looking into getting either the Army Alpha Black Tactical, or the Army Project Salvo. Any suggestions?

  • can u get a different stock that acculy folds?

  • @mrcammo You can use the same stock that comes on the Project Salvo for a folding/collapsible stock. Also any stock that fits a Tippmann 98 will work on the Alpha Black.

  • @NiqqaImStillJerkin You would need to get a new barrel, the barrel itself does not adjust but if you buy a longer or shorter barrel with 98 threads it will fit. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • If i get this gun with the e-trigger installed will i need a cyclone feed?

  • @KrazyKillProductions You will need a cyclone feed or an electronic hopper that feeds at least 15bps to keep up with your e-grip.

  • And u ddnt mention wen u take off the halfs tht all the pieces would come out. So a good video u could do is putting all the pieces back in

  • @ClickHereToLaughNow That would be a good video to do, thank you for the suggestion!

  • This gun is semi-automatic, right???

  • @Drumm3rAl3x Yes indeed it is :).

  • All I want is the digital one. But I need advice, is the range and pump good? If not I found guns at Paintball Wizard.

  • @Cronizone The Alpha Black is an excellent marker, it will serve you well.

  • So should I get this with egrip or a 98 custom basic (no e-grip) platinum edition?

  • is this marker good for all kinds of games?

  • @christnt13 This is a great entry level marker for milsim or woodsball games. Reliable and consistent but somewhat big and heavy for the speedball field.

  • @HustlePaintball Okay thanks

  • ok im now getting a marker and idk if ill be playing speedball or not but for just a rec paintball gun is this a good starter marker

  • @DKassaian1219 It is a great starter gun, it comes with a manufacturer's one year warranty and is extremely reliable/durable. It comes with a lot in the box (includes stock) and looks super cool. There's not anything better you will find in it's price range.

  • Thanks

  • where Canute buy one with the egrip already on please let me know

  • @PSSM9mm We have the Alpha Black Tactical with e-grip available on our website for purchase.

  • does the alpha black tactical have fully automatic fire

  • @phsychoholiday666 If it is electronic, yes. You can buy the E-Grip version outright, or you can upgrade the basic tactical model at a later time if you would like to.

  • What type of paintballs do u use for tippmann us army alpha tactical

  • @ExtremeWog Any mid-grade paint will do fine in the Alpha Black (a $40-$50 case) I myself like Empire Heat or WPN Weapons Grade paintballs, they are perfect for the Alpha Black.

  • I'm getting the one with the digital camo finish! xD

  • i just got 1 yesterday and played with it... straight battle field.

  • @13Guadalupe805 So it was good? I'm thinking of getting one

  • Gots ta get one.

  • I was just wondering but what do you think is better, a US Army Alpha Black Tactical or a Us Army Project Salvo? Or are they typically the same gun but just with different looks because i know they both have Similar C98 Internals.

  • @NjKxRiCkY The Project Salvo is a much more versatile marker.

  • @HustlePaintball am whats da diference between , alpha black and bravo one ? both tippman ,, or is only the name or what ?

  • @666brokenhearts They are exactly the same marker just different names for US and international markets.

  • @NjKxRiCkY They will perform exactly the same. They are balanced a little differently due to the cosmetic differences but if you can play with one the other will not be a big adjustment.

  • Nice vid and thanks a lot, but I have a question. If I buy the Tactical edition with the e grip installed all ready, can i change it to the basic mode removing a couple parts? or will i need to buy a new barrel and a butt cap?

  • @JRRCherry369 You can remove the shroud easily and the stock can be replaced but you will need a butt cap.

  • @HustlePaintball ok, thanks I´ll look for one on hustle paintball.

  • @HustlePaintball can you remove the shroud without opening the the gun to its insides?

  • would you recommend this to new players?

  • @twostrikeHR They are terrific beginner guns - they are almost identical on the inside to the 98, but the Alpha Black Tactical looks more milsim (as it includes a stock, mock magazine, carry handle and handguard). Reliable and tons of available upgrades means that your marker can grow with you and your style of play.

  • @HustlePaintball k thanx you guys rock!

  • @HustlePaintball I have a problem with my gun, the safety is WAY to lose! Even If I just put the gun on its side the safety goes on. I need to this fixed! and fast!

  • @SergeantOfAwesome The Safety is probably missing an O-ring - or you may need a replacement safety pin - check out replacement parts on our website! Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • @twostrikeHR I own one of these Tippmans and its well worth the money. I have remote air on it, and it is wise to put the E-trigger and the assisted ball feed on it if your going to play competitively.

  • is this gun fully auto or semi or both

  • @youngfool518 That depends on weather or not you have an E-Grip, the standard alpha black is semi-automatic.

  • does it take .68 caliber ammo?

  • @TheSpy312 This marker does shoot .68 caliber paintballs.

  • @HustlePaintball Thnx you very much now i can play with rubber training ones ...wait can i use them?

  • @TheSpy312 Abosolutly, reballs will fire through pretty much any marker.

  • @samtheslam23 my alpha black is super accurate like 1 inch or less shot groupings and it really isnt that heavy

  • is this gun good for uses other than scenario

  • @DKassaian1219 Certainly, the player makes the gun after all.

  • Does it shoot auto matic?

  • @NikeSbSbSbSb You would need to have an E-grip or Response Trigger.

  • @snowpup4 They are exactly the markers internally. They just have different shrouds and bodies. They will perform the same. Its all about which one looks better to you.

  • On my alpha black I added a 22' barrel and a side folding stock

  • is there any way you can get rid of the carry handle and attach a rail?
