if i had to chose. id pick Derrick Rose at #1 because hes doing amazing and this is without Carlos Boozer.

Deron Williams is the better pick and roll player tho out of he and Paul... Chris is more of the one to break down the defense and find people... which is great for making stuff happen at any point rather your team is playing scared or whatever

nobody breaks down the defense like Chris Paul at the point guard spot... in all of the NBA it's probably Paul, Lebron and maybe a couple others who can get to there spot like that.... Paul is always a steals and assist leader and can score for sure. Let's not forget CP3 has been injured and reintegrating. Williams isn't much lesser than Paul but I'd say he is a fracture lesser. On terms of Pauls stellar defense and breakdown ability

The Spurs had a better team, yet in 08 the Hornets had a better record because CP3 played like (and should have been) an MVP. In 09 the Jazz had only 5 more losses than the Spurs despite D-Will and Boozer missing tons of games due to injury--the Spurs have better players, yet D-Will & CP3 raise the play of their team to match the Spurs' play.

Seriously, Nash is the better all around PG. Although CP3 is better but Nash orchestrates the best offensive team in the league and just makes people score easily in transition and half court. Nash's stats: 18.1 ppg, 11.2 asg, 3.4 rbg, 51% FG, 43% 3-pt FG, 94% FT. And he's doing it in 36 yrs old, i wonder if any of your point guards can do that in Nash's age. Clearly, end of discussion.

Korver, Kirilenko, Boozer they are your reasons CP3 gets more triple doubles. It seems the Jazz have a deeper roster than New Orleans. Not taking anything away from Chandler and West, but Deron has more options for the pick and I think his stats suffer a bit for that. But it isn't a bad thing :)

cp3 has more triples because his team doesn't have the rebounders that the jazz do. He has to go for the ball more whereas dwill can rely on memo, boozer, and milsap who are amazing rebounders. The jazz have better rebounders so dwill doesn't have to worry about it.

also, CP has the jason kidd mentality which is to secure the ball off the glass and run the offense. you can see that most point guards in the league run to the other side of the court if his guy misses the shot. CP and jason kidd always get the ball across the mid court stripe.
