@laptopdragon Have you ever seen a professionally painted satin/matte car. Its the same 3 stage paint used on the car stock but with a satin or matte clear applied. So its just as smooth as normal gloss paint, just without gloss. Your thinking of the people that use primer to achieve this look; which is chalky and nasty. I have never heard of a Ford GT doing more than 220mph even heavily modified. Its not a Mclearen F1

@timzp as much as you'd like to think the original and the new version of the GT were designed by Shelby, they werent at all.

the old gt40 was designed by Lotus and Lola and the new model was after that model, but was designed by Camilo Pardo.
