Not everything can be answered. The three best words in the world are "I Don't Know" These three little words are the start of all knowledge. But if you don't recognize that you cannot know everything you will learn nothing. Nobody is forcing us into religion? what world are you living on my friend? It's in every fabric of our lives even in the secular states, imagine how it is in religious run governments.
It always seemed to me (I haven't studied Islam enough to be sure) that all three believe in the same god (with the exception of Christianity's pseudo-monotheism and reverence of Jesus Christ alongside that God and numerous Saints etc etc). Where they differ is in how they interpret that god's will...it is very likely I am completely wrong here, however that's what it appears to be from my experience.

Bono's always been this guy whose religious fervor comes and goes when it's politically sound. He's a bit fruity about this sort of thing and it's because millions of people listen to him speak about political issues with a social conscience. I believe he's earnest, but he's a musician who constantly bites off more than he can chew.

Science can't prove God exists so then he doesnt exist thats a pretty stupid idea don't you think. If their is no God then what is the purpose of our existence why do we exist. Why are we the only living things in the entire universe as far as we know. Why do we think and move while so much around us is incapable of doing so. Absence of proof is not proof of absence. It always seemed to me (I haven't studied Islam enough to be sure) that all three believe in the same god (with the exception of Christianity's pseudo-monotheism and reverence of Jesus Christ alongside that God and numerous Saints etc etc). Where they differ is in how they interpret that god's will...it is very likely I am completely wrong here, however that's what it appears to be from my experience.

I used to love this man (Bono), from way back..however, this past september when I went to Giants Stadium to catch U2 that I hadn't seen since their Yankee Stadium gig decades ago(literally, i think)...I was somewhat disillusioned ( to say the least) when I saw massive signs all over the place that said "Blackberry" loves U2..and salespeople all over the entrance demonstrating the product to individuals...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
