well, Imo drz400's have bigger engine and heavier than WR's. DRZ's are more faster so it's the kind of bike that you'll be racing; but WR250x's are lighter and the frame is same material used n an YZF R1. I love mine. Im not a good SM rider thou, but im having so much fun with my WR250x.

Get it :) If your going to commute / race tho, get a 450, the DRZ400 doesnt have enough grunt to keep up for either.

As for the weight comment, its all in how you manage it :D I motarded my Yz426 (steel frame pig) and im 150lbs, and I love it.

I would like a good commuter bike. One thats fun to ride. And maybe every now and then take it to the dirt!

The DRZ and the WRX provides a hard debate.

There is a two local bikes for sale. One is an 07 DRZ going for 4200. The other is an 08 WRX going for 3300 (emailed asking if he'd go for 3000).

I can't decide what to get! Daammn.

Go get kTm 125 Exc, 2-stroke 40bhp, and goes 160km/h.. the accelerations is just brutal, and then go switch off-road tires on it and go have fun offroad :) talking whit experience

its all really just about personal preferance. I would really like to have a 400, but I don't really like Suzuki and the reliability of having fuel injection made me opt for the WRX

drz is 321lbs around 35-40hp and wr is 300lbs around 25-maybe 30hp so essintially the same if you do the math

Well the dealer didn't have it. Walked out with a KLX250s. It's been fun. I've got a jet kit sitting on the shelf along with a full exhaust package in the online shopping cart. Slight regret but it's been a lot of fun. Already wondering about the 330cc big bore. hehe.
