  • Does anyone know if Halle did her own singing in this film? I never knew her to be a singer. Does anyone know who the singer was that did the singing voice-over? Just curious...

  • @MissSharon50

No, Sharon. A sessions singer named Wendi Williams did the singing. Halle was amazing in this one.

  • halle berry looks so young then

  • im so glad she played her

  • I just love this song.

  • Although I think Halle Berry is overrated she did a good job on this one.

  • I think dorothy dandridge was reincarnated into halle berry!

  • @DBRandom1995

    I agree

  • Honestly, i think helle berry is the only woman who could play this part...and she does have talent. janet is beautiful i will say that, but her voice and her looks wouldn't go well with this part. her voice is to soft and she looks nothing like dorothy dandridge. and as far as people saying halle berry doesn't have talent well, thats why you are sitting at home on your computer bad mouthin her, because are negative, and negative people go no where in life.:)

  • @shmexylexi1 Thank you for saying this people men and women are so jealous of Halle Berry. Its a hard life when you are a triple threat. She's beautiful, talented and a smart woman.

  • I told my brother who the women were in the keri hilson video, and he asked me who Dorothy D is. I showed her picture and said she looks like Halle Berry. He said that she looked better than Halle. I was just looking at some Josephine Baker stuff and there was a link to some DD stuff; this. I can't believe Halle played her in a movie. Didn't know that. Strange.

  • i love this movie :-)

  • Sing it girl!

  • Huh, I've checked the latest 15 pages of comments, and there's been NO racial trolling, as far as I can tell.

Quite frankly, I'm glad. :-) The racial trolls are usually all over videos like this.

I've seen Introducing Dorothy Dandridge AND have had it on tape since 1999. IMO, Halle played the HELL out of the role. Also, the physical resemblance between them is almost uncanny, the only real differences being that Dandridge's chin was shorter, and that Halle may be a little curvier.

  • Una gran cinta!! la actuacion de Halle berry es muy limpia y natural!

  • does anybody know how to watch the full tv special online anywhere????

  • How could you not think she was beautiful? Don't get it.

  • "Ciro's"the Hollywood,Cal. nightsport no longer exists..it's now"The Comedy Store West".

  • That guy is Data from Star Trek the next generation...

  • it's insane that the chick they chose to sing for halle sounds so much like halle, but sings the way that dorothy sang. Cool.

  • @LeCancionista it is halle re-re

  • @lilGentz

    1) what do you mean by re-re?

2)I have the soundtrack, and the vocals are sung by a woman named Wendi Williams.

    Happy New year!

  • @LeCancionista what i meant by re-re was retard but nevermind it because i didnt relized it was somebody elses voice. sorry to waste ur time

  • Really, I just don't see it, she's hot, I'll be the first to say it, but she has no talent. Just shows how shallow society is. Really.. an Oscar, for taking your clothes off.. please..I would rather have seen Janet Jackson play the part, she is a sell out as well, but at least she has talent.

  • This short clip is why Halle won and deserved the awards that she received for this movie. Halle did an excellent job....to me this is her best work.

  • Oh, to have a body like Halle Berry.

  • It's been said that Lena Horne & Dorothy were not close friends. They probably rain in the same circles and saw each other at parties or Hollywood functions, though. With such few limited options for Black actresses those days, they had no choice but to run into each other. Lena probably felt threatened because Dorothy was a bit younger and the "Black beauty of the moment". However, neither of them were appreciated the way they should have been.

  • @JumpStreet1983 likely, but the same could be said today. Really, not much has changed. The praised beauties today aren't often representative of the many beautiful black women, but the skin is light, so it's gotta be right.

  • Hollywood has a very ugly history with not just Black actors/actresses, but all non-White players in the business (even now). Only thing is, back then it was more "in your face" and you knew what the stakes were. They gave Dorothy the star treatment, but only up to a certain point. She saw the top of the mountain, but never really stood on it. It was all downhill after "Carmen Jones", because the studio system just wasn't ready for a full-fledged Black female star. The racism was too ingrained.

  • @JumpStreet Why are folks' expectations of Hollywood so high? Always talk as if it's an ethical/moral gatekeeper. It would take as little as 12 months to literally bring Hollywood to its knees. Hollywood simply exploits man's appetite for vanity, fame, fortune, status, exclusion, dominance --at any price, regardless of color. Chappel is a good ex. of a performer reworking the Steppin Fetchit routine: slapstick comedy + negative depictions of blacks at a high price, but a price all the same.

  • she is a good actress but dorathy is prettyier than her

  • lol i think janet jackson can act just fine but this rle was meant for hale

  • i wish someone would upload the whole movie

  • I really want to see this movie, cant believe I havent seen it yet

  • @butafly248 halle berry is espectacular! hermosa! increible actuacion; soberbia

    salve a la reyna!!!!

aunque el final es triste, so sad.

dorothy was great actreess an sing!

  • indeed halle berry did a marevelous job as dorothy and i dont think there is another actress currently working who looks as close to dorothy asthetically. however havin read the biography written by Bogle i cant help but this the protrayal missed out alot of dandridges life .xx

  • To think Whitney Houston, Vanessa Williams, Janet Jackson, and Jada Pinkett Smith all made it clear that the wanted to play Dorothy and Halle ended up playing her she was perfect for the role and for me Halle's life reminds me a lot like Dorothy's especially with the news that she and Gabriel have split its a shame she is a brilliant actress and played this role to perfection!

  • shes so beutiful

  • i dont realy like it i think the real dothy should be in it!

  • @kumimob415 she died over 40 years ago

  • She has also been involved in the production side of several of her films. Before becoming an actress,

  • so what is the title for this mmovie that Halle Berry played Dorothy Dandridge ??

    Thanks :)

  • Look, I'm not a lesbian, ok? But if Halle Berry asked me to be her bitch, then I would jump! ;-)))))

  • @Rosafanta wow

  • @Rosafanta i am gay i would beat u too it lol she is one georgous gal i tell ya.

    gamagan1

  • What a long way we have come. I'm so proud of my people. Pass ,Present and Future. To imagine 50 years ago we couldnt use the same restrooms as whites and today we have a black president! I'm truly proud! Thank you Dorothy!!

  • love halle berry and dorothy dandrige very succesful african american women!they r role models

  • @fendermusicLOL if u put their pic together the really resemble each other both ver beautiful women and with out make up

    gamagan1

  • DATA!

  • hahaha i was thinking the same thing.

  • i cant find this movie anywhere & i really want to see it :((

  • Halle did a great job in this movie Dorothy Dandrige was pretty with a little sassiness You go Halle you played the right roll

  • can u please show the whole movie

  • In the beginning of Halle's career her acting was so so, in this movie she hit it right on. When we heard about her Oscar buzz for Monster's Ball my sister and I were doubtful and we had to see the movie. After seeing it we knew she was gonna win or we would never watch another Oscar show and now we are ready for March.

  • reently on MLK day, turner classic movies ran all blackl classic films. you got to see dorothy D up close and personal. it is clear that halle did a great job and was right on target. This film was financed and produced by halle as well. in our view halle is everything that dorothy could have been if not for the racism of the 50's and 60's. no offense to janet but she has not had any dynamic acting work since good times. Peace!

  • Janet should've played Dorothy. All Janet talked about has a little teen was how much she loves Dorothy and wanted to play her in a biopic. Halle Berry jumped in the bandwagon after.

  • Janet Jackson would've been a good choice as well. But Halle Berry was the perfect choice she is dorothy dandridge. She raised Ms dandridge from the dead.

  • but janet jackson cannot act

  • Janet has been acting since she was 7 years old. Get a clue. Halle can't act at all.

  • okay, but halle went to juliart and won an academy award... janet just likes to show off her itis in that superbowl bs she pulled

  • It's called Julliard not Juliart, idiot. Janet has only been in 3 movies that weren't submitted to the academy by her directors. Janet has been acting since she was 7 years old! That easily beats Halle. And the Superbowl incident had nothing to do with this.

    Janet as Penny>> Halle Barry

  • @queenofpopjj shutup you sound dumb as hell

  • @NeonSunset23

and you look ugly as hell.

  • @queenofpopjj oh,im ugly? well yo mama. and if ur so pretty then get a real pic of yourself not somebody you wanna look like, dumb bitch.

  • @queenofpopjj Most young black actresses dreamed (and still do dream) of playing Dandridge. Hell, even Wesley Snipes' character in "To Wong Foo" aspired to play her in a bio-pic, but it was Halle who got the project up and running. She produced the film and starred as Dorothy. It was her production. Janet was welcome to use her family's incredible wealth to finance a bio-pic herself, but it never materialized. Childhood ambition and reality don't always merge. Halle did a marvelous job.

  • @ShamusMacGuffin Um yea but Janet was the first one to mention Dorthy as her idol. Halle just beat her to it. Janet was too consumed with her music career to even attempt to produce a film. That would be hectic. I still think Janet would do a better job as Dorthy but oh well.

  • Janet was the first person in HISTORY to mention that Dorothy was her idol? That's stretching it a bit. Surely lots of other people idolized or admired Dorothy prior to the birth of Janet Jackson. Just because she is the first person you know about who said she admired her doesn't mean she has ownership over the role. I suppose she was too busy...too busy to portray her idol. She took the time for Poetic Justice though. Seems like her priorities were out of whack.

  • Did I say history? lol! no, I didn't. Janet was the first to show her admiration of her to the media. Then Whitney started doing it and so did Halle. It's common sense. I'm not being biased at all. Just an honest observation. And don't diss Janet.

  • @ShamusMacGuffin Hell, even Wesley Snipes' character in "To Wong Foo" aspired to play her in a bio-pic, lol, very funny line

  • @queenofpopjj what ur saying doesnt matter at all, if u think just because u idolize somebody is gonna land u an acting role then must not know anything about hollywood

  • Gosh...I swear Halle REALLY played the hell out of that part...I love Dorothy and Halle nailed it

  • I agree!! That's why SHE was the right one for the role :-)

  • Fué una gran actríz y cantante que desgraciadamente tuvo muy mala suerte en su vida personal; hoy tendría 87 años de edad..

  • is it true she has 6 toes? I heard so

  • she has no dorothy's moves at all

  • no thats da real dorthey dandridge

  • Can anyone upload the ful version of this.

  • Oh God, I adore Brent Spiner. He is so talented.

  • daisies in green pastures!!

  • who could ask for anything more!!!!!!

  • You GO BITCH! Make that racist MF put your shoe back on your foot!!!!!!!

  • LOL!

  • I've really been feelin' Dandridge lately!

And I love Berry too ! ! Dandridge was a SINGER! Berry is NOT! It's a common misperception that Halle is lip-syncing to Dandridge's recordings! Yes! She's lip-syncing but that's NOT Dandridge's voice on the soundtrack to Introducing Dorothy Dandridge starrring Halle Berry! It's a LA based singer by the name of Wendi Williams! NO! Not the HowUdoin' Wendy, either! Peace!

  • LOL!

  • Terrific.

  • I met Bassett driving on Melrose in LA when I moved there. I let her pull in front of me in traffic. She pulled up to me at the next stop and asked where I was from and thanked me for being considerate. Then said I didn't think you were from here. Most people would have let me sit here. Se said thank you for being a gentleman. Nice LADY! And HSH is right! She should have won more awards for her performance as TT in WLGTDWI! She was Brilliant. It's like she channeled TT!

  • Yes I did. But it's not because Dandridge didn't have a great voice. They (STUDIO HEADS) did that with a lot of stars back then. MARNIE NIXON did all of Natalie Woods singing and Audrey Hepburns singing in West Side Story and MY FAIR LADY. Look Nixon up she dubbed a lot of big stars!

  • Don't forget Deborah Kerr in The King and I.

  • I like Hallie but she is lip syncing to the voice of The Real Dorothy Dandridge. The sad thing is DANDRIDGE was what you call a triple threat in show business. She could sing, dance, act and she was absolutely beautiful. Todays performers are cookie cutter imitations to the likes of the greats like Ms. Dandridge! The Golden Age is over.

Now you have hacks like ashton kutcher. Major bummer!

  • I feel you, but you DO KNOW that Dandridge was lip-synching in the biggest role of her career in Carmen Jones, don't you?

  • "Here's your bathroom."

Oh man, my reaction would be the same as hers. XP Lol, Brent and Halle are a great pair!

  • She was lipsyncing...she would be the ultimate performer if she could though

  • I love this movie. The whole movie use to be on youtube but dag on utube took it off : (

  • It's available now at Wal-Mart, so anyone who wants a copy, check there. I love Brent Spiner's role in this movie -- he turned in a fantastic performance! =)

  • If I could give this scene more stars I would!! Halle had BRUNG it, baby!! She hit the mark 100% I was SO VERY proud of Halle in this movie. She really channeled Dorothy Dandrige in this movie. Both women are legendary not to mention gorgeous!!

  • I guess that just like Jennifer Lopez is living Selena's dreams, Halle Berry is jus equally achieving Dorothy Dandrige's hopes and ambitions. Funny how cinema can actually become reality and vice versa. Anyway, I should underline the great performance of Hally Berry in this and she highly deserved her Golden Globe for it. However to me, Whoopi Goldberg should have been the first African American to win an Oscar for the Color Purple role, if not her then definitely Angela Bassett WLGTDWI

  • Halle nailed it!

  • I am a lighter skinned African American, where both parents are fair skin BLACKS........When I look at American's history..I so often hate the fact that my skin is extremely light( I often get mistaken for a Hispanic)...And I must say I love it in the summer, because Im able to tan my skin........For all of you who thinks lighter is better, your WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you shouldn't hate yourself honey because you should be proud of what you look like. Light or Dark....your black so love it as I do

  • i agree with you, im not a WASP (white anglo-saxon protestant) im eastern european and i'm looked down apon by other eastern europeans because i can't speak my first language. i can understand it but not great at speaking and because of my name even though i'm white i still get treated differently.

  • 0:44 Hey, that is "Data" from Star Trek New generation.

  • Thanks for your comments everyone. Please check out all of our videos and give us your support!!

  • Come on people.. does it matter... She was a sexy woman and a great entertainer.. Im multiracial and im proud of what african blood i do have... So lets stop the color thing,,, We are all one race and thats human!! Think about it

  • "So lets stop the color thing,,, We are all one race and thats human!! Think about it "

So true! There is really no such thing as a "race" where skin color is concerned, because it's all comprised of the same pigmentation (melanin). "...He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth" (Acts 17:26). Don't believe it? Search answersingenesis(dot)org for what the Bible teaches on interracial relationships.

  • Amen, C.

  • I Agree. Only people who can be that hateful, and graceless, are dark souls doomed to be hell bound.

  • This is my favorite scene from this movie! Love it!

  • I really Love this Movie, This is one of Helle Berry's in my opinion Best movie.. Also depics the time and what our Country has been thourgh and just how far the U.S.A has come. Yet still we have a long, long way to go.. And to Dorothy Dandrindge for sharing her talent with us all.. Her struggle in this movie to in some repects still goes on today just not on a differant level. Although I still have much hope for US All, I do include Everyone.

  • well i mean thts bullshizz the way she was treated. im not black or white...hell idk wat i am lolz im considered white-other

but still no one deserves to have to pee ina cup wen theres a perfectly good restroom right there.. i mean come on really? and honestly i dont give a shiz if u black, white , or watever... everyone is a person to me. i dont judge and i sure as hell dont care about race. i like all people :]

  • GREAT COMMENT BRAVO!!!!!!!

  • Woooow, don't let the point go over your head. Wavier hair is straighter than course hair, and you can use a flat iron for more than straightening your hair including making it wavy.

  • can sum1 upload da whole movie

  • well yes mostly WHITE women get their lips injected becuz they want to but im talkin bout black ppl..i have so many black friends that ppl made fun of because of their lips its just cruel. and when I say WAVIER HAIR i dont just mean wavy hair i was just tryin to stress the fact that we want to look a certain way so much. I said straightners becuz its very common. Im not sayin straightenin hair is bad. sometimes i do too. Im just tryin to prove a point.search Tyra Banks on Asian Eyelid Surgery

  • in my opinion black people secretly believe in the european standard of bueaty, and want lighter skin, wavier hair(we all ways straighten our hair and when some keep it natural BlACK ppl and others make fun of them),smaller noses and smaller lips so they like producing babies that are mixed. im mixed but when i say i like dark skin guys all my friends say"ohh hes too dark for me"...and ive learned that a long time a go, white men use to rape black women so they could have mulattos.

  • Thaaaat's right. I'm considered light skinned and I HATE when ppl come at dark skinned people and men. It's mainly black friends I get into it with too. It's soo sad. One friend loves lighter everything, and of course should embrace herself, but not so much that it looks like you're putting color down. I get soo tight every time,, but I have to keep my head. All I know is that I love color and I don't want mixed kids. I listen and like to read up on our history; usually brings me to tears.

  • To clear a point. that seems to be plaguing this forum.

Ms dandridge had a Black mother and a Black father.

She was a african american who felt the whip of social injustice just like all the rest of us at that time.

    Case Closed!

  • She did a wonderful job in this movie!

  • That had to be a horrible feeling. I mean it's still experienced today, but to be WIDELY ACCEPTED. smh!

  • I want to see this movie, can't anyone upload it all on youtube? :p

I think it's amazing how racism is so alive in 2009. That's all I have to say.

  • I LOVE this movie. it's a shame they treated black people like that...and even if you was mixed. Halle looks so much like Dorothy it's crazy.

& yes their are both mixed...who cares. they have talent. Ya'll are grown people arguing over the internet. what lames!

  • Dorothy wasnt mixed DAMN!!!! JUST CUZ SHE WAS PRETTY DOESNT MEAN SHES MIXED

  • does Halle look like Dorothy? i think she does - but more importantly she becomes

Dorothy for this movie . and yes i agree with you , nu!!

  • We have some ppl talking about dorothy and halle being mixed. By americas one drop rule they are black. If you see them without a perm or the hollywood color correction you would know they are black. All of the ppl focusing on their white ancestry (which many of us have) have closet issues. We are black and BEAUTIFUL and we are descendants of africans and that makes us kings and queens and those who do not like it can can go soak their heads!!

  • Amen it's sad I babysit a beautiful little girl who is only 7 years old she hates her self because she is not lighter skinned. She asked me once If it's okay to be dark how come none of the disney princes are dark like me? That means I could never be a queen... tore my heart to pieces I don't even know what to do or what to say I just told her mother to pay attention to it because she needs to know more than ever she is fine the way she is but its hard to fight the media influence what do you do

  • i think earl mills must have been in love with dorothy,,this movie was based on jis book .

  • in the movie he told her he loved her. We just watched it again with our artist niva and she loved it. We have gone thru so much which is why we must maintain high standards.

  • Ok we all know that NO ONE is biologically pure...and with this being said EVERYONE IS MIXED. But Im not getting into that. This is Black History month..celebrating our achievements as a people. I hate when people try and dissect and segregate the race even more by trying to point out what percentage of this and that she had in her...That shit is dumb.

What part of: "This isn't a tan Earl, I'M A NEGRO, A COLORED GIRL, you'd happen to notice that didn't you...?" don't you people get...?

  • Excuse my mistakes there i really hate when that happens.

  • Ok all of you need to do some studying on black people most of us in America are mixed race people because of our Ancestry .Or you may have forgotten about slaves who were raped by white people yeah that went on alot .Annd although all fair skined black people might not have their white ancestry as close as otheres it does explain alot .1! because the African brought heref rom Africa were really black African Americans range from pale white to as black as the night. Also the one drop rule.

  • Thank you, finally someone educated.

  • Emmy anyone? Not enemy Glen Close! EMMY!!!!!

  • All three are mix-race..Dorothy, Halle and Obama !!

  • Actually Dorothy is not mixed. Do some research, she's a full Black. Light skin doesn't mean you're mixed.

  • She was MIXED, not a 'light skin' negro.

  • Ok we all know that NO ONE is biologically pure...and with this being said EVERYONE IS MIXED. But she was put in the same category as both Halle and Obama as if one of her parents is white and one of her parents is black. Tell me this, which one of her parents is white??? Have you even seen her parents?

  • YOU SAID "Actually Dorothy is not mixed. Do some research, she's a full Black. Light skin doesn't mean you're mixed."

She's full black? Are you BLIND? BLACK PEOPLE DON'T LOOK LIKE DOROTHY!!! I mean 'FULL BLACK' people DON'T LOOK LIKE HER!!!. Are you blind or are you stupid? She's African American but she's not BLACK!

  • I am full black honey and I was told I look a little like her I don't see it but If you want to correct yourself say she doesn't look like what you may think an African looks like, then so be it but we come in many beautiful sizes shapes and tones... Years ago we were all black because we had one drop of African blood but now people want to say oh well they aren't all black as if it's a bad thing...GO GET LIFTED!

  • No disrespect sista, but who on earth told you that you look like Dorothy Dandridge? You don't look like her...not even a little. You don't resemble Dorothy anymore then I resemble Marilyn Monroe.

  • obviously someone who thinks we all look alike some people sicken me they think it is a compliment to say oh you don't look all black your pretty or trying to make sly azz comments like oh she's gorgeouse I knew there was no way she was all black. Simple azz hoes. chile I even had this old lady tell me I look like a young Chaka chan following me and all . A man asked me was I related to Bey in the Gallaria mall because Solonge was shopping there with us. Rich black = entertainment industry

  • like we can't be doctors or lawyers

  • Full black people are beautiful, if you mean Africans, because hardly NO black Americans are pure African, most are mixed with European or Native.

  • I'm not saying full black people are ugly... there's pretty and ugly people of every color. I'm just saying she is, IN FACT, MIXED. That's all.

  • OMG u r so fucking retarded! Whitney Houston looks mixed? Not really, but thats besides the point because EVERYONE is mixed! NO ONE is biologically pure! How many times we have to say it? Do u know this? Obviously not. She n everyone else u mentioned claims Black, not to mention they're accepted more by them...ever noticed how long it took to know (except A Keys) they were mixed? Because they don't look it. You know why? Because WE ALL ARE! I see Black girls that look like them everyday...

  • And I'm trying to understand y ur so caught up on race? Like it's a privledge to be something we have absolutely no control over i.e. being mixed. My mother is Dominican my father is Black American, who cares? They're parents were mixed with this n that, and so were THEIR parents, n their parents parents...who cares?! If Whitney, Dorothy, Beyonce, Halle, and I are okay with being called black, why can't u...? Can I ask, r u mixed with a white mother?

  • Yes, I'm mixed and my mother is white. Why do you ask?

  • Because I can tell...and I'm not going to get into how. We've already went beyond the point of this video...better yet, the point of this movie, which is to honor a beautiful Negro, a beautiful African American, a beautiful Black woman (which ever you prefer), whose paved the way for many others to come. This race crap is making me sick. Rest in Peace Mrs. Dorothy Dandridge.

  • Comment removed

  • and you are the fucking RETARDED!!! I'M NOT CAUGHT UP ON RACE!!! I'm just saying the TRUTH!!! DOROTHY WASN'T BLACK!!! She was MIXED!!!

    Point.

  • WE ALL ARE. Point.

  • Both my parents are black but my mom is light and my father is really dark skinned.I am Rhanna's complection with gray eyes and my sister is dark skinned with brown eyes.Everyone seems to adore my eyes every where i go.People seem to think that i am mixed untill they see me with my sister.I have 2 beautiful light complected children by a dark skinned man and the world treat them as if they are bi-racial and they are always asked if they are mixed!

  • in our view no matter what you call yourself, you must be proud of your african descent. Our heritage and legacy and our blood is bound to the africans who were sold in stocks on wall street. You must be proud of your great black heritage regardless of how much african blood you carry. If not then you are a slave and a fool to white supremacy! Peace!

  • Yeah, two parents are black is not enough to say that the child is not mixed. It comes from down the line. I'm waiting to see a whole majority of Africans with light skin. Come on now people, don't be naive.

  • I like the way you put that. I myself am lighter than..well...most white girls XD...no i'm not albino or mixed directly lol...Technically i would be Creole...but if someone asks me...I'm black. It irritates me how some people try to break down every little bit of their heritage in order to avoid saying..im black. Nothing wrong with appreciating ALL of your heritage..but u know what kind of ppl i'm referring to. One thing i'll never do is be ashamed of what and who I am.

  • Did you know that Whitney Houston's father was mixed? Half black-half italian. I always thought Whitney don't looks like a 100% black woman and years after I found out the reason why. She's 25% WHITE!

Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Halle Berry, even Beyonce (who has french ancestors) and certainly, Dorothy Dandridge ARE MIXED!!! They DON'T LOOK LIKE A BLACK WOMAN! or "full black woman!" THEY ARE MIXED!!!

    EVERYBODY COULD NOTICE THAT!!!

  • what does a full black woman look like? Because MOST black Americans are mixed, more blacks are mixed than not, heck Im mixed, everyone's mixed.

  • @curtis4028 No actually Dorothy is not....just cause you're light skin doesnt mean you gotta be mixed....c'mon you should know that.

  • @93DimplesPretty there must be some kind of other race other than black, not necessarily directly but could be way bk down the line even to the times of slavery when white slave masters raped back women, in order for you to be light skinned

  • @93DimplesPretty there must be some kind of other race other than black, not necessarily directly but could be way bk down the line even to the times of slavery when white slave masters raped back women, in order for you to be light skinnedrefer to the book sex n race prt 1 n 2

  • @abckhh alot of black ppl in the world aren't even pure black anyway

  • makes me SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud to be an African American! I la-la-la-la LOVE thisssss

  • This was really good, it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck

  • Thank the lord in heaven for Obama!!!

  • I fail to see the connection between Obama and this video.

  • Im simply happy that African-Americans have come so very far from peeing in damn dixie cups, to a black man now being able to become president. And for that I'm happy. Obviously there is no connection of him in this video, but thanks for your insight. : )

  • just bought it on region 1.what movie is it supposed to be in the scene where Halle is bound and gagged?and thers a tarzan guy

  • wow halle was sooooo beutiful in this movie i have to see this whole movie shes my inspiration!

  • sorry ...but where's the rest of this series - has anyone posted it up as yet? x

  • In my opinion, Halle is the perfect person to play this role.

  • It's good when you recognize the power you hold in an unfair situation. This just shows that when you play your cards rigth you can bring the enemy to their knees--literally. Who could ask for anything more? There is more than one way to fight injustice.

  • It can't get any better than that!
