Wow...I am basically using these videos to learn how to DJ myself and basically I got Screw up and Koan sound to drop at the same time but at 2:22 how fast u load up that song was ridiculous...I was thinkin maybe he has 4 decks but The mixtrack cant use decks C n D so thats crazy how fast u got that loaded...Good shit man I hope you make more DJ dubstep videos they are killer and great tutorials
@Cautioncrisis on your gain a and Gain B ( referring to the woo boost Tutorial as well ) Are you setting anything special to those faders that make it sound like that???
@minutemadeinc Indoor Venue's could do with 2 PA's and 2 subs but Huge stadium outdoor Venue's would need more Obviously. You dont want to kill everyones ears by having the music blasting. Its important for DJ's to understand the fletcher munson scale and how to make everything sound just right and at the right volume
ok im gonna give u one tip. the numark mix track or whatever its called is a really dangerous controller when u use it with virtual dj because you end up using the effects way to often and those effects take no skill. i have a hercules rmx and i use traktor. now traktor is difficult and funn
@williambirch100 you can't connect it to the mixtrack LOL it's kinda standalone how would you connect a midi controller through ab fx processor...they don't work together ;)
if you're mixing in windows, you can use Virtual Audio Cable to repeat the audio from any audio port to any audio port...I use it for streaming quality audio on live cam sessions...this way you could record anything that's being outputted to your monitors..i dunno if it's available for mac..great mixes dude..I gotta say..i didn't care for dubstep until i started learning about it...and I've learned quite a bit from you
i love how your not just one of those guys who sits there and beatmixes. i love how you actually get into the music and move and the sound you create is just fantastic
@GnarKillClan he doesnt have recorded from kp3, it cant be recorder unless you use something else from the usual midi cable, its mostly used in live performances, you connect the rca cables from mixtrack to kp3, and you connect kp3 to speakers.
thanks dude. i was planning on buying the Traktor S4. But then my friend showed me the Numark Mixtrack. I thought to myself that it would suck because it doesn't as much features. But after watching your videos you helped my realize its about skill, not equipment.
You used Pendulum!!! Fuck yes!! I just ordered the same controller as you and I cant wait to start learning to use it like you do. I also produce my own dubstep.
Nice work man. Double drop and build up at 1.12 is sick . Me and my friend never had too much success with the korg kp3 so keen to hear what your doing with it. Are you using mixed in key? the mix sounds quite harmonic :)
@pkpete Cheers mate! I just use the estimated key displayed on VirtualDJ, it's not completely accurate but I spend a lot of time trying the tracks out to see what works. In terms of the KP3, I may release a tutorial about it sometime in the future, for now though I'm recording through VirtualDJ so it doesn't pick up what I'm doing on there.
@VorrtexTV I don't know half as much as this guy, but I think Beats are pretty bass-heavy. So it will sound great through the headphones, but be warned that it might not give you an accurate representation of the sound that's coming out of your monitors. You might want to use a pair of flatter studio monitor headphones for mixing.
@JDOTAiIVIS They are pretty damn good as far as monitors go but watch out for the price, they're top-quality production monitors so they're bound to be pricey.
@CautionCrisis They're actually entry level recording monitors. They amazing for the price. Definitely not the best monitors one could purchase but still a great investment. I own the Rokit 8s with the 10s sub.
@DankyDubstep Ah cool, I think they sounded like top-quality but that's probably cause they're amazing for the price. I was just told they were pricey so I assumed they were really good. As I've said before, I really don't know a lot about monitors :S

Besides the mixtrack pro what else would I need for a mobile dj setup?
I was thinking 2 PA speakers, 2 subwoofers, (one on each side of small/medium)
What else would I need... and could I add more pa speakers in?
