  • actually leung jan taught ip man who taught william cheung that version. its in ip mans history then he went back & defeated his seniors that caused a riff with ip man & the modified seniors.

  • I'm a researcher. To tell u guys frankly, this guy is performing it 'mechanically'. It's not natural expression of the human body. And the effect leads to ailments on the shoulders, neck, back, calves; blockage of chi energy in the dan tian towards the chest (scattered energy). The side-effects would lead to constant agitation & inability to balance himself during chi-sao. Make sure u do the right Wing Chun forms via body-sense, don't train blindly.

  • This is not how Leung Jan would have done Siu Lim Tao, it would have been closer to Ip Mans since Ip Man also learned From Leung Bik, Leung Jan's Son.

  • @Lescouflair Well it is just a movie. But who knows what Ip Man was taught?? he said he changed it and simplified it when he went to Hong Kong.

  • that's bryan leung... nice potrayal though

  • Movies: one of the greatest promoters of martial arts and Kung fu

Unfortunately it's equally guilty of giving people unrealistic and inaccurate perceptions of what real Kung Fu is.

  • @KiCreativeStudios yup but how to promote it if it is not exaggerated? it's like an advertisement, every commercial needs to be somehow exaggerated in order to make a stamp at your brain :)
