Dogs need their hair for a variety of different reasons. protection from the cold and sun/ stickers,thorns ect/ bites, dogs, bugs ect/ they have oil from their skin that sits on the hair. am really not sure the consequences of that but its probably not good. I would check with your vet or two before doing that again.

@zymuur im bilingual i speak spanish and english so dont judge how i write.and yes dogs have skin disorders i have a pit that looses his hair on his butt in the summer and all summer long it bleeds vet says hes allergic to walnuts and there is nothing we can do about it since we have a walnut tree in the back of the house and he is over at my parents house. my dad has done what he can for his skin but it doesnt do any good. so i wasnt paying attention to the title i just seen a dog video

@zymuur Pits skin is a bit more sensitive than other dogs watch shows about how pits get abused and see how the skin turns out ive seen many different designs some that were just like that except the skin was actually falling off..now when i seen this video i thought you might have rescued the dog and got it healthy again i meant no disrespect about it i just was saying bc i seen cases similar. ive seen cases where they burned the pit and the dogs fur was never the same its sad
