  • does not matter--he is the greatest drummer ever from that era--2.66 of silence--like you ,,,,would like to see john doug and stu join forces for the real ccr sound--fogertys music concerts vids here are sort of corrupted--they dont sound that good live--great to see you are still here...never mind about dougs sound copyrighted--we know what it was--cheers

  • It´s curious...problems with copyright with an albume deleted more than thirty years ago.

  • Copyrights? I didn't think they made any money off this stuff anyways.Yo can hear any major artist on here except Doug Clifford because of copyright laws? Funny!

  • @martinone9 haha your are right!

  • i draw to doug clifford for a work of desing jajaja.

  • Zanz Kant Danz but he'll steal your money...

  • All I would like is to get "what's left" of CCR to Geneva (Switzerland) to play in my bar "Le Chic" . Who cares "WHODOWHAT" they all are great mucisiens - and when we do our Cajun/Soul Food Jazz night cook out - who better ?

  • I enjoyed the video! Thankfully, I have his LP (autographed by Doug!), so I can pop it on the turntable and listen while I watch! :)

  • doug is and was one of the best drummers in the world-theres no doubt about that-he was the percusshion sound of ccr--the reast are good-but dougs the best.

  • that opening drum riff in fortunateson is just as classic as hendrix, the beatles, or dick nixon's nose......thanks cosmo.....yes, ccr was all of them, not just john fogerty

  • HELLO, HAS ANYBODY OUT THERE???

  • This is so stupid, you can't hear the audio but you can download the song from iTunes, put in a dispute!

  • NO SOUND AT ALL ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  • then get rid of the vid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hi,i just hope one day the 3 guys from the original ccr come together and let bygones be-and give us what we're waiting on--doug ,stu and john were best of mates-johns music and comeback dont mean anything --without the doug and stu--but we are selfish to the end---arent we-thanks for posting--a silence tribute to what we want,,ccr

  • dude's the man

  • I don't HEAR anything!! What tha F?

  • I wanna grow a gnarly beard like that, just watching this made me feel less of a man.

  • What is the point of posting a video of this song and then haveing no sound. It makes no sense. Are we supposed to imagine what it sounds like? Fix this or erase the video. A song without sound is nothing.

  • what, no sound?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • John Fogerty is an ASSHOLE! Talented-Genius...yes. 1st Rate back stabbing money grubbing friend betraying glory stealing royalty thieving ASSHOLE...YESSSSSS!!!!

  • @Welshbluesman I want to fuck you and youre fucking familly.

You are the assholle mother fucker.

    What music like you?

    Jonas sisters?

  • It is all about ego that gets in way ,,, they where one ,,,,, they are nothing as a band

    sorry charly

  • in my opinion a good band ,like this it means working as a team, therefore all of them deserve respect,no only one member of the band!!!they made history, rock,

  • John Fogerty produced and arranged all of the albums except Mardi Gras. John Stu and Doug all produced songs on that album. Stu and Doug wrote some of the songs and Stu even played guitar on a few tracks. It's no wonder that was the worst album and the last album. It was the only one that DID NOT go platinum. I could never blame John for leaving the band after that album. JOHN was the TALENT in that band and they are nothing more than a cover band now.

  • """"TO ALL""""",JOHN C FOGERTY,WAS THE TOTALITY= BAR NONE! OF 'C.C.R',the 3 others were john's extention's of himself, you had better be a checking your "VIDEO PROOF",REMEMBER WHEN SUAL ZANTZ$%^&,FUCKED JOHN OUT OF HIS OWN NAME,JOHN SUIED OVER ,IMITATING HIMSELF"COPYING",TOM SAYING HOW HE LOVED ZANTZ,IN HIS 'DEATH BED',I CARED FOR TOM ALSO ,AND REMEMBER EXACTLY WERE I WAS-TOM'S DEATH!JOHN "NEVER LET ANYTHING HIT VINYL,!!!!

  • WHOA!!!!!!!

  • its true. reviseted does suck! ... love stu and doug, CCR should of NEVER broke up! ... as much as they hate each other, the sound they produced ALL together will NEVER BE MATCHED!

  • Hey an,... I'm about 10 years younger than these guys...I cut 'em alot o' breaks....... theyer still c.c.r. as far as Im concerned

  • hey brother

i know what you mean, everytime a classic band reforms without their front man it blows. like Bad Company did without paul for a while. Johns a great singer , i take nothing away from him. and now he can afford to hire the best backup

guys around. so all he has to do is belt it out. im sure doug and stu can still play but a crappy front man brings it all down.

i was told Doug did Cosmo's Factory?

thats how i heard it. but John i has issues with money and sharing

    Stay Strong.

  • i went to high school witht his guys son in lake tahoe nv

  • what happen with the sound?

  • They made me take it off beacuse of copyrights.

  • stu cook & doug clifford are two bottom feeders, and revisited is nothing but a shit cover band, how come i dont see ringo running around doing all beetle songs, he just doe"s the ones they wrote for him, and ones he wrote himself, these two clownes cant wright for themselfs, so they do all fogertys songs. they suck.

  • @wildhorsestudios1421 No, no, mate - you've got it all wrong! I've listened to CCR since the late 60's and it's obvious that John Fogerty was the voice, soul and heart of the band - but still 40 years later I still find Doug Clifford's drumming to be excellent! As for John's current drummer(s) - well, they are okay but nothing at all like the real thing!

  • @Vinterfrid I respect your opinion. But while music is all a matter of opinion, technique and skills are not. Now I love Doug and he was a great inspiration as a drummer since the first CCRevival song hit the airwaves. But he does not hold a candle to Kenny Aranof. There is a lot to be said about the simplicity of Doug's playing however. But Fogerty is still CCR and he has proved it many time over.

  • @wildhorsestudios1421 Like you said - everyone is entitled to an opinon. I still persist that Doug Clifford is a better drummer than Kenny Aronoff, although the latter is a good drummer too. But, hearing Aronoff play drums at the old CCR songs doesn't sound at all like the original. In my opinion Doug Clifford is a highly underrated drummer - the more I listen to the old CCR songs the more convinced I get!

BTW - tonight I am going to watch John Fogerty live as he will perform here in Stockholm!

  • @Vinterfrid Yes but there is opinion and there is fact. Kenny's credentials speak for themselves. The more I listen to old CCR songs the more I am convinced I can play drums as well as DC and not as well as KA. :) Oh and that's having listened and played them since1969.

  • @wildhorsestudios1421 Well, we could discuss this matter forever - alas there is no way to assess drummers from some given standard - who plays fastest, loudest, most technically perfect and so on. Beauty is in theeye of the beholder, you know! BTW - tonight's concert were superb - hard to imagine JC is 65 years old!

  • @Vinterfrid Glad to hear you enjoyed the show. Especially with Kenny kicking John's ass!

  • @wildhorsestudios1421 Maybe so, but can you write a riff like fortunate son drums??? Get on the radio and do that, then you can walk with doug cosmo cliff

  • @ioriorioriorio Interesting thought. But yes. And perhaps you have no idea the influence Fogerty had on the drums himself. Look I love Doug and not putting him down. Just facts.

  • @wildhorsestudios1421 Taking credit for other peoples' work doesn't count as "influence." ;) John did a couple of solo albums where he did the drums himself, but they don't come anywhere close to as good as the work Doug Clifford did on the drums. Just facts.

  • @Dulcimerist No it is fact however that John had a huge input on how CCR's songs were put together.

However wether Doug played drums better than John is opinion.

  • fogerty did the same thing robertson of The Band did. He took credit for everything. CCR was all of them together

true John was a great singer/front man

but it was the chemistry of all of them on stage that made CCR. and as far as the other two not being able to write, well the album Clifford wrote and produced was their top selling. also your forgetting the forth member , Tom Johns late brother

who he totally fucked over and never made amends even with his brother on his death bed. cold.

  • dude i seen then then, cosmo & cook, they suck, the lead singer was fucking horrable, tell me what album doug prouced ? i dont know, anyway long live local 40, am a teamster local 641.

  • @TheygotSkylar Incorrect. Stu and Doug haven't been able to do anything for the past 3 decades but their CCR cover band, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, with a John Fogerty sound-alike. One might think that Stu And Doug have no talent.

John was wise to ditch their useless asses.

  • @TheygotSkylar That's so true! The fact is that the majority of CCR's songs came out of jams, with input from all four members. John just took over and signed his name to the songs.

All four members of the band are equally good, and CCR just isn't CCR without them all.

  • @TheygotSkylar yikes..yeah JF stuff after creedence was awful..i bought Blue ridge

  • @TheygotSkylar magnificent and true comment--john fogerty live is very disappointing now--he can have 10 guitars up there on stage-and kenny aronoff-the sound that he claims is his ,isnt there--cant produce it anymore-we all want one more last concert with stu and doug--they did tour all 3 together in the early 70s--sorry they had to come to aust...but still today-doug is the best drummer in the world that took ccr to rival with the beatles..jf much as he is admired is souless and still bitter.

  • Doug is a great drummer. Stu is a good bass player. They are both f*#king snakes in the grass. They screwed John when they sided with Fantasy Records back in the Day, and continue to make money off Fogerty's song writing talent. Revisited sucks. If you want to see the real thing, go see John's shows...

  • and this is not What Are You Gonna Do !

  • I had to take it off because of copyrights.

  • @paraparanormal did he die

  • this is gay

  • I have to agree with you. The music used to be Doug Clifford's Tearin' Up A Country until they made me take it off on account of Copyrights.

  • John Fogerty was CCR - without him, they would have not gone far, nor have even a record deal. All members of that band should be sending John a Christams card every year (except Tom of course RIP).

    Cheers,

    GunsAndPoker

  • good god he was sexy.. wow. those eyes are heart melting. =)

  • So underrated

  • jajaja doug es bueno en la bateria.. es grande

  • one of the best ccr songs

  • see doug cliffords drum style cannot be replaced. so if john wants to do ccr songs he better pay up. even though john wrote, sang, lead guitar, arrangements and produced.

  • The coolest man on earth!

  • Es hn gran batería, lástima que no sea muy reconocido.

  • ccr revisited? wtf

  • canta bien y lo mejor toca bien, he sing and plays good

  • yes of course he is acting like an ass, when your band mates take the money over you, you are the bad egg for not wanting to be seen with them (cuts throught the sarcasm with a knife) ok I'll admit clifford is an excellent drummer, but his talent ends there

  • John Fogerty gave up his Creedence royalties himself because he wanted to leave Fantasy Records. I don't see what the other guys did wrong.

  • it's funny that Clifford has the same looks for about 40 years

  • I know man it's wierd how he still looks the same

  • I always loved his drumming on the CCR hits. Too bad they still aren't together.

  • doug es bueno en la bateria y en la comoposicion igual no cren?

  • Great voice its too bad he didnt sing any other songs.

  • great voice? I don't think he's such a vocal genius...

  • he did! tearin' up the country, need someone to hold, and of course his solo album

  • cosmo was a swiming drummer.

  • VIVA COSMO!!!

  • According to some information Doug recorded one solo album. But it´s not exist on CD.:-(

  • That's Ok. I had the record once. You're not missing much. Side 1 was so bad I never bothered with Side 2.

    A truly great drummer though.

  • well then that was stupid of you because one of their best songs ever is on side two, sweet hitch-hiker.

  • coleman76, I was referring to DC's solo album, not CCR's "Mardi Gras".

  • Sorry man

  • yeah very nice song i like his voice, the way he sings i think he sings better than stu cook

  • the vocals are his?

  • yeah, the song is from the album "mardi grass" of creedence

  • thanks, I just bought the album...

  • al final tuvo su oportunidad

  • Still tearin up the country with a song. thanks.

  • jajaja doug es bueno en la bateria.. es grande

  • very nice
