Block is a memory driver, not a rally driver who can take pacenotes and execute super clean stage time and get the needed points.

That said he is a great marketing tool though, and that's sort of what matters for ford, they are getting the exposure so they don't care about the contest points.

I can see why a Rear-Wheel biased 30-70 torque-distributed system would make it easier (because that's what makes power-sliding in an Audi R8 V10 easy). But I'd still say that a 50-50 torque-distributed system would make it harder to maintain directional control (sure it'd be easier to get into a slide but controlling it would be difficult).

Well that is where I begin to loose the thread because in my mind a RWD drift would be controllable because the front wheels are firmly (relatively) planted on the ground while it's the rear-wheels that's spinning.

On a 4WD powerslide all the wheels would be spinning (and therefore have no traction), but then again it might be the short wheelbase of the thing making it difficult and not the 4WD.

@MrFalconfly When your "drifting" AWD you need to have more power to the rear than the front to be able to maintain a proper powerslide. And since the front is spinning its alot more forgiving when it comes to mistakes on the throttle.

you just counter steer less and for a shorter amount of time.

"Drifting" or should i say power-sliding in a properly tuned AWD car is much easier than a RWD car.

btw. 4WD is different than AWD. =/
