Thanks! I think SD were very jazzy by their own tendencies so to my mind I'm only interpreting the song with very little variation other than it's solo guitar VS a whole band. In terms of who composed what, I actually don't know but there are several biographies of SD in print and online. Take a look, I'd be curious as to what you may be able to find out. I have wondered that very many times myself. I dont know if I feel like Fagon contributed more compositionally because he is the front man; or maybe i think that because i kno becker didnt even play guitar when steely dan first started and infact is not even heard on a few of the tracks on Aja (but he is co-credited with writing them).
