Of course Afro would be pretty old by then or getting there and of course he'd win but nice plot twist would be the best ending in my opinion, boy kills Arfo, then the line "The never ending battle continues..." plays again xD

I really like that anime, but I got confused toward the end. I thought they were only 2 headbands, but when afro was fighting #1, they were dead corpses with other headbands. Were those headbands others numbers, like 3, 4, 5,etc...? And also at the end here, is Afro still with the #1 headbands or Gino has it? Because if Afro has #1, Gino should have been the one coming, not waiting, or perhaps Gino went and waited for him there. Are the headbands on Gino the one that were on the dead corpses?

I hope Afro Samurai Ressurection isn't the end of the Series. Couldn't they have created a anime, describing the events that lead up to where Afro's father fights Justice? Because in Ressurection, Justice appearedin the end, and he appeared earlier,

(There was an old statue of Justice with its head cut off, it even had his name on the faceplate.) Was Justice actually LIKED!?

Maybe they could go into detail about Afro's father, as well as Justice. They could even show the kid w/ the headband

@102293 Simple, he killed all previous owners. Supposedly you can only battle a band owner if you have the rank below it (1st can only be challenged by 2nd and 2nd can only be fought by 3rd etc.) However, hellbent on his revenge Afro keeps breaking the chain (in the series and the movie) and goes straight for Number 2 headband. Not just him thou, every greedy person out there does the same and they end up getting sliced for being complete noobs.

@mork999 It's just more of a alteration, IMO. Jinno wouldn't attack Afro after their change of heart he had in the movie. Freaky Brother could've polished him up at the request of Sio, since he probably doesn't mind him in that condition but her sister definitely does.

Jinno did have a change however their are clues that suggest that this takes place after the film. at the start of the movie afro is not wearing the number 1 its atop his fathers grave. Seconed he i'sent even atop the mountain he's at the ruined dojo of his old sword master. third Ninja Ninja asked him why he wasent wearing number 1 he replies "i got my revenge" which to me suggest he only cared about killing Justice not the headband.

In the directors cut of the film theirs a scene where one of sio's henchmen tells how even after afro killed justice he refused to replace him as number 1 which if this happened before ressurection would be contridictory because here he is clearly wearing the number 1 so for him to be wearing it now and then not wearing it in the film makes no sense.

And when Sio talks about how the constant deaths removed his memory, there wouldn't be many of them if you remove this one from the equation.

If you saw Afro Samurai Ressurecton while Sio and her robot sidekicks were in the lab, that circle robot guy said that Kuma was Afro's only TWICE killed friend, which means that Afro killed Kuma before, AND AFTER he was the number 1, this movie being the second time he killed kuma( which for some stupid reason wasn't shown) before Ressurection. That clears it up.

I just thought this ending was before, cause it seemed to me that Jinno really died in resurrection, and that his zombie-like state of mind in the movie was due to being killed by Afro so often. Also, Afro gave the nr 2 headband to the kid - Kotaro, and theres nothing about him in this version of the ending. But thats just my theory though ;)

To correct both parties, David Robinson(A Senior Producer on Afro Samurai and helped 2create the game) said that this scene was strictly for the original T.V. series as this was how they were first planning 2end the series. But they changed the ending with Resurrection, so this scene technically never took place. And they plan on having a Afro Samurai 3, not much was said on this though.
