I think Romney is needed if Mccain is going to win the battle ground midwestern states that Romney won during the primaries...4 states went to Bush by under 10% and 3 went to Kerry under 6% last election.
Plus, Romney would add some diversity to the Republican ticket being a mormon,and would bring his management/economic credentials and his backing of the more conservative conservatives. I also wish he was as likable as Huckabee.

It looks like the right wing is going to try to get one of their kind close to the power again and who better than someone as compliant to their directives as their last guy, W. (Romney is forever dependent on them)
Mccain wont suffer with a phony though and these people wanting romney in should ask mac what his opinion is about this before running to the bank with it. I'd bet mac would rather take huckabee, since huck gathered more support than mitt - plus, he is more honest and likable.

Romney is NOT just a talker. Simply look at his ability to get things done. He's accomplished things most people considered impossible. The guy is simply amazing.
