I have the white one, that has a metal stand and it's really great. I use it on Skype and the quality is muuuuch better than the built in mic that came with my computer. I also used it to record some drums for my band (I know, I know, bootleg, but we're on a budget), and they sounded really great! Best of all, my dog dropped it off the couch a few months ago, a fall of about two feet, and there was no damage to the mic!

Of course, in a perfect world, it would never fall off anything, but it did, and I'm glad there's such solid construction. So, I'd agree with Marques, and really recommend it for people who want a cheap(ish), but really solid mic, with really good sound.

Will this work with Windows 7? Also will it work on the Camtasia Studio program? and i've heard it can be a bit quiet, is this just with the older models or is this a problem with the new one aswell?

I make let's plays and gameplay commentaries on youtube, and need to know which mic to buy. If the Yeti is worth the extra money, I can get it, but that is the question.
